All this rants and noise is coloured by envy and utter jealousy of Tinubu, who studied the swinging of the pendulum; thereby become one of the national political figure and by all standard the leading opposition leader.
Falae would love to be recognised in lieu of Tinubu, because the latter is a 'young guy' who was not a direct disciple of Awolowo, whereas Falae and Fasoranti were.
Chief Micheal Koleoso chaired the committee that endorsed Tinubu as guber aspirant and not Falae, who was busy pursuing his presidential ambition.
Tinubu had a contrary view against the Afenifere when they decided to pitched tent with Obasanjo for his second term.
Infact, he was the only AD governor that kicked against such move.
That singular action of his, Tinubu, made him what he is today; National Leader of ACN.
He was able to secure second term, while his co-governors lost the bid to come back as a result of their alliance with Obj.

@Kayode, pdp administration was one of the deadliest disease that plagued the SW Nigeria. The 'demo' people are always worst in govt in yorubaland. Do you remember a man called 'Adedibu' in Oyo politics? He was a symbol of dirty politics and bad godfatherism (brief description of him). He was a factor in SW politics during the locust years of pdp. Ask who is Alao Akala, Azeem Gbolarumi, Eleweomo, etc They are products of pdp governance in Yoruba nation. Enuf for now.

Ganiu Oyesola 'Gani Fawehinmi' is a man that can make case out of any given stance. He made his popularity from this, because it was his calling. He made his personality known at the inception of the 1999 democratic rule, through that Tinubu forgery case, after series of humiliation and frustration from military junta. He bowed out of the case because of the incessant Lagosian song 'GANI LEAVE OUR MAN (tinubu) ALONE.'
Now the man-TINUBU, he is a man from the scratch, without any paternal or maternal affiliated political dynasty. He emerged from total oblivion into political limelight as a result of his SINGLE decision not to agree with his other SOUTH WEST AD governors to support OBASANJO for his second term. His doggedness and undaunted political spirit earned him the present political leadership status. His rise to the zenith beats all imagination of his political adversaries and allies, some were able to conceal it, some could it, hence, hatred, enmity, castigation, pull-him down talks etc.
Take it or leave it, Tinubu is a leader for some and his disciples are looking up to him for all what they think can come to them through him by God.
He has made Governors, Senators, Reps, LG Chairmen etc. God with him, he is the OPPOSITION LEADER OF NIGERIA.

But Awo's wife hates him, true or false? Or do you want to lie? We know they were fighting each other recently. He is a leader of thugs.

What is the position of Awo's wife in Yoruba politics? She is a matriach in Awolowo's family and not in Yoruba nation. She is a wife to one of the respected Yoruba political leader. So, I do not see any link in she hating Tinubu, leading to Yoruba people to hate him in like manner. What must have caused ripple between her and Tinubu? Was it Tinubu that caused her failure to became a First Lady? Why would she hate Tinubu? Over what?

The guber seat in Ondo is rotational. The incumbent, Mimiko is on the seat as the Ondo central representative and will leave for other zones to occupy the seat.
Ondo North and South are the MAIN oppositions (AKEREDOLU and OKE). The next zone to occupy the Alagbaka seat is Ondo North (AKEREDOLU). There is a political understanding between the northern and southern people of the state as regards the political arrangement of the ZONING. The Southern people will definitely give their mandate to the Northern man, with the understanding that, a Southern man will succeed him at the expiration of his tenure.
Mimiko as a central man will be counting his losses at the end of the election, because his acclaimed stronghold(Ondo Central) is being populated by people from Southern and Northern part of the state.
Mimiko is LOSING on the political arrangement in the state.

If fake dollar can entice the ondo voters, then Mimiko has succeeded in aggravating the poverty level of Ondo people in the last 3 and half years of his rule.
