why is there always rounding up the figures.Do they actually count those numbers?

With all the replies coming in, means people actually know what is bad.My question is this.
WHY DO WE DO IT THEN KNOWING IT IS BAD?

Good day nairaland. I'm 31 years old female, single and unmarried. I want to get married by the end of this year by Gods grace. All the men that approach me either are unsettled yet or one problem or the other. At first I wasn't desperate, but I don't know what im doing wrong. I have a good job and travel to the UK often but still haven't met any man that's prepared for marriage. When I go out to have fun, my siblings start complaining that im attending parties and staying out late too much. Is it in our parlour a man will marry me? I'm trying to enjoy life by looking on to the bright side but still feel empty inside of me. What else can I do to get married at least by the end of the year? This rules are not as new as many people think. They are essentially the rules we have been enforcing all along, but they have been expressed in a more compact form to encourage you to actually read them. I created the 1st draft on the 7th of April and my fellow moderators gave me a lot of feedback which I incorporated into the rules before publishing them yesterday.

Rule 17 is the most controversial rule because it sounds unfair. My fellow moderators have debated this rule at length and it could not be changed. We cannot extend the prohibition against offence to other religions because that limits your freedom of speech, and we cannot remove that rule without jeopardizing security and the safety of lives. Sorry about this.

Reprieve has come to the way of cleft lip/palate
victims in Adamawa State as a corps member
serving in the state, Victor Hilenen Aben offered
them free surgery.

Aben who partnered Oral Health Advocacy
Initiative, OHAI, a non governmental agency that
aimed at increasing awareness on the problems of
oral health in the society, said the free healthcare
was part of his Community Development Service,
CDS, of NYSC programme.

Over 22 patients were treated free of charge during
the three days free surgery operations held at
Federal Medical Centre, Yola, from 23rd-26th April,
2013.

Speaking during the flag off of the surgery, Aben
stated that his intention was to bring succour to
the indigent people in his host community. “I want
to serve my host community to the best of my
ability. This project is one of the many projects I
have for this community”.

The Project Officer of the OHAI, Mr Lobi Aondona
commended Mr Aben for the initiative and
expressed his organisation’s readiness to work with
any individual or group including corps members
who come up with viable projects for the people.
Speaking during the exercise, the NYSC State
Coordinator for Adamawa State, Alhaji Aliyu Taura
represented by the head of CDS, described the
project laudable, even as he commended the
initiators for rendering selfless service to the
community.
