My case be different kinda sha hehe. Im 28. Finished my bsc in local government administration in 2015. Finished nysc in july. But as per i never really liked that course, i want to go start another degree in fineart which is the love of my life hehe (im actually a fulltime SELFTAUGHT artist, you can check out my page on insta @scaezar) so i legit wanna go to school, not run away.
Long story short, i applied to troy and msu. Troy gave me admission already without toefl but im writing toefl anyways on dec.9... I20 will be here on dec1.
My question now is.. Is my case not too errmmm..controversial?

I don’t see a lot of knowledge sharing from you either. There is this warped mentality that “sharing knowledge” means spoon feeding you so you can simply come here and crib what I did without having to do any thinking of your own. I am here to have a good time until work starts up next week. I have zero obligations to you. Nigerians have a serious and sad aversion to thinking for themselves or outside the box. If you think 2-3 years of planning for YOUR OWN future is hard, then nothing I can do to help you. Me saying anything specific here won’t help, all we’ll see is hundreds of applications to the same school, for the same program with not even 5 mins of thinking as to whether you qualify for the application being sought. Everyone just wants something for free, no thinking involved.

Sharing knowledge to me means giving you the tips that helped me to succeed, like adequate time to plan, thinking about costs of living with respect to your eventual choice of school, places to go for better information etc. anything else is a waste of time.

Im not coming at you fam. You have the right to keep whatever to yourself. Besides, i have no knowledge to share on this thread. Im here to tap some. So whatever rocks ur boat lol. The tips would do too ��

You're asking the wrong question. My course and school is not what is important, your course of choice and school is. It took me 2-3 years of meticulous planning to figure out what i wanted to do, where, how much it would cost, where to find free money etc. You just want someone to spoon feed you in one nairaland post.

I thought we here to share knowledge. If you are telling him to go search for 2-3 years like you did when you could actually just tell him how you went about it in one post, then tell me, why are you here??

Howfar boss? I dunno if anyone replied you though. Just wanted to ask howfar about your admission? I had the same issue and i complaine to my admission officer. He waived the application fee for me and my i-20 is on its way already.
If you got your admission, lets continue this journey together o lol. Ive not written toefl though. But i plan to do that before my visa interview.

To the house, im going for a second degree and im 28. Would this pose a problem at the embassy?

Anyways..wanted to ask if its possible to just run student visa without canceling this application. Is that possible?

Hi guys. I applied online for my Canada TRV, did all the payments online. My visiting visa was approved yesterday and I was asked to send my passport.

My question. How do I go about sending my passport.

Can I send it to the embassy myself or must it be through VAC? VAC is charging extra $50 for transmission fee.

Why do you always sound bitter my brother. Im sure demmysoft is applying for the first time. It seemed to him like a big deal and he doesnt want to do something he might later regret. You could have just told him to use google...you didnt have to say didnt he write essays in school. Have you had a beef with him before? This life is really very easy..you dont have to approach everything aggresively. Before you think of other smart things to say to this..think about it, 'what will be my gain?' So just take a cup of tea, seat back and relax your finger muscles...

Reason for the email to Accra is that I see no reason why a mere TRV would take 99 days. They talk about first come first serve but I am not sure that its a true statement because some people who applied a couple of weeks after her had already gotten a response from the VO. As such, as a customer, I am disappointed at their level of service and processing timeline.

Applied online on june 26th and i still got nothing. But something bothers me. When i check my status online.. On biometrics, its says theyve not received my fingerprints. Someone said its nothing to worry about that they just didnt update it online..anybody gone through this same thing? Any idea? Advice? Maybe this is whats delaying the visa processing? Btw i did the biometrics 2weeks after i submitted online

Its a tourist visa. Im not going for study. I believe his bank statement is stronger than my own thats why im using his. Im just going for a month. I just want to go see canada because I have a long leave at work.

Hello, been following this thread for the past week. Im aplying online for tourist visa. I am being sponsored by my uncle and i have provided his bank statement in the past 4mths with a balance of #10m.
My question is, do i still need to show my own bank statement or payslip from work?
And can anybody please provide me with a good format for a cover letter? Thanks. I want to submit today hopefully
