Now we are trying to submit my PR application. The problem is getting Naija police certificate from here. Could anybody kindly help me with this? or a link to some blog detailing the process. Thanks! |

Anyone? Biko? scaezar: Hello everyone, my sister in-law submitted an application in May, May ending and she put her 8year old as a dependent. She got her medical request yesterday, thank God, but she got only for herself. Question is, isnt there going to be a medical request for the 8year old? |

Omo, you did not send him any money. He is simply a scam because he offered to help you? Im not saying he is a scam or not but you cannot judge someone because of a hunch. Stop it bro. Its a dirty behaviour. He wasnt going to help you for free. He charges 5k. Seems its like a business for him and thats why he approached your first.. If you're not sure if you can trust someone here, then simply do not do business with them and go your separate ways. Stop fighting dumb and dirty fights here. Lets keep the thread for what it's for. Sorry bro. Was this the number you called? 0815 019 9900. I called that number before i sent mine to confirm the biometric slip isshh, twice, and they picked and responded quite well. I used UPS too so shouldnt be a courier problem. Please call them again today. All the best bro. Psychosocial: Please guys, I need help o.
My PPR package has been refused twice by the VAC, without any reason at all. I enclosed my passport along with all the required documents, and proof of payment of the Transmission Fee, and addressed it to the Abuja VAC office. I paid for a return-courier via UPS. Funny thing is the package easn't even opened before it was refused, so I cannot know what the exact problem is. Even reaching the VAC by phone is almost impossible because the call goes off once you select the option of speaking with an agent. The email I sent when the package was refused initially has still not been replied. This is quite a strange case.
Apart from trying a different courier service, is there anything I can do differently?? |

IRCC must have tried your faith. Please after your submission of LOA and POF, do they ask for these documents again before your PPR? Mine is 10months this month. |

Mehn. Thanks bro. I think you were one of the people that replied me back in Feb 2020 to write a good LOE. Appreciate that! JustMellow: Hello Scaezar,
Big Congratations on your persevering feat. You can swiftly get in touch with the International or admissions office requesting for the possibility re-validate your admissions.
If possible, reach out on phone while also sending emails. Also target the administrative secretary and be very persuasive with your entreaty.
Again, Big Congratulations!
Best of Luck |

Thanks bro. Yea the Lawyer was sort of expensive. Thanks a lot bro.. Ill update with the progress. Booked for medicals already and i sent a mail to the school. Frankrobbn1: This is a good news, Congratulations to you. You did the right thing by getting an experienced immigration lawyer in Canada to respond to the Procedural Fairness Letter (PFL) you received from IRCC. Good lawyers are very pricey, however, It's really worth the money and time hiring one for your case.
The medical request you got from IRCC clearly indicates that the visa officer is reasonably satisfied with the response and supporting documents supplied by the immigration lawyer. Hence, your eligibility criteria for study permit has been passed.
You shouldn't be scared about anything, you can contact the admission office of your prospective school in Canada to inquire about the possibility of reinstating your admission with them. If it matters, you may want to pay for application fees for readmission.
Keep me posted about the outcome of your application.
It will end in praise |

Biko, how do i do the online booking? englois: I did my medicals at IOM on the 27th. When I booked this appointment, they haven't resumed online booking. However, when I discovered that online booking had started, I filled the online form and picked the nearest available date which is 1st of February. That's how I came about 2 medical dates.
With what I saw on the day of my medicals, I believe it's impossible to swap dates. Anyways, let me brief you of medical protocols at IOM Lagos..
I got to the venue around 7:00am. I met some people hanging around. We were informed that the gate will be opened by 8am. At 8am, people crowded the gate and the security man came out to address us. He brought out a list and asked those with 8am appointment to form a line. He confirmed their name from the list and asked them to enter. Next the 9am were marched in and it came to the turn of 10am. Mind you, I entered around 9am so the time was not a barrier. Upon entering, you will be asked to show your international passport and your receipt of payment. You will be signed in by a machine which takes a picture of either your palm or your face. There are several buildings which caters for different countries like Newzealand, Canada, UK, USA, ...... You will then be directed to Canada building. There, you will be directed to fill this Google form:. /iomha Afterwards, you will be asked of your passport. Next, you will be directed to a room where your blood sample will be taken. After a while, your passport will be returned to you with a checklist of other tests you'll undergo.
Next, it's the chest x-ray. Next, a urine collection bottle will be handed over to you. You'll fill it halfway with your urine and wait to be attended to by a nurse. When called in by the nurse, you will be asked series of questions which you must truthfully answer. Your weight and height will be checked. You will also read some letters from a board to test your eyes. The urine sample will be tested with a strip and disposed of.
Next, you will be led to a waiting room where you will see a doctor. The doctor will ask you to wear the hospital gown with minimal clothing underneath. He'll check your feet, stomach, chest, eyes and go over your initial tests (x-ray, etc). I was asked to wait for an additional one hour by the doctor because the x-ray was sent to Nairobi for analysis and the result wasn't available yet. After an hour, I was informed that I was done with my medical test and could leave.

So.. I submitted my visa application in December 2019. In February 2020, i got a PFA(Procedural fairness letter) because my cousin that applied for me answered NO to the question asking if ive been denied visa before instead of a YES because i was denied visiting in 2017. Employed the services of an immigration lawyer back thento reply to the letter. I waited for a reply and got none. Was actually expecting the 5year ban(penalty for misrepresentation) early so it starts counting early. But i got no reply and last year october, i withdrew the money i paid to the school and told them ive been refused visa.
Today, i got a mail from them and its a request for medicals. As much as i am happy, im scared shaaa Please would it matter that i already told the school i was refused and took my money back? I just got tired of waiting for over a year.
And pleade how do i schedule appointment for medicals at IOM?? |

Everything was genuine boss. To the tiniest detail. My cousin applied for me in Canada and what exactly went wrong was he picked 'no' to the question "have you been denied visa before" which i have. He went on to get an immigration lawyer in Canada to help out and draft a reply back then. I understand this is a serious offence so my mind is set on getting a ban. But it bothers me that they are just silent. I mean.. The ban should start counting already by now. Anon123: I want to ask you one question.
Are you 100% sure your documents are genuine, none is fake. If yes, you have nothing to worry about. If no, sorry but its likely you will get a 5yr ban from applying to canada.
You can apply for your gcms note to know what's delaying your application |

JustMellow: Hello Scaezar,
Does it state that you should respond to it within 7days? If so, write a concise LOE to remorsefully response to it. If otherwise, then you might be looking at a ban here.
All the best Thnks bro. Employed the services of an immigration lawyer in Canada though its looking like a ban with everything ive read online today. Still hoping for the best anywaYs.. |
