Pharoh: The season is not over yet, we are still in competition for the league (maybe), copa and champions league. The domination of barca is in two fold, one was the classicos and the other is the trophy haul at the season end. They have both matched each other in the classicos, they both went home with one trophy last season.

This season we have won the super cup already and there is still three more to compete for so no shaking. Domination in awards or the national team is irrelevant to the discussion, so the domination is over from our point of view. They should just avoid doing guide of honor as going all season unbeaten, winning the league with record points or 20 point difference is meaningless lol.

Na who dey need the sympathy of the entire world? Del bosque is part and parcel of real madrid so when did that turn to the whole world?. grin
how market?

@All. Sorry i have been so busy lately, but am back to give you some top secrete about mst major coy, for those of you that are seeking for employment/experience take note of this; Going to drop ur Cv to any of these major coy gives u only 2% chance of being invited, WHY? because most of the big coy do their employment by (MAN NO MAN) you might ague about that. but i know wht am telling you, the best way you can stand a chance is by online portal registration and submision. I work in ICT department and i know what am telling you, they search CVs by keywords using wildcard, e.g if your cv contain something like Mechanical Engineering, when they type it, computer will automatically sort out all the CVs with the words in order using the date of submission, the best cvs amongest all shall then be forwarded to appropriate department for review and invitation, is always adviceable to expand your cv by explaining most of your experience and skills which gives u edge during selection, if you come to our office you will be shocked, we have dozens of mannual submited cvs which no body have time to look into it, except you have your own person in the coy that will help you. (brb to continue the process....pls am using phone to post now, so the post might nt be well formated)

kitty kat: Lagos might actually be better than PH. Serzly. Most admin office of these guys are in Lag. Also I noticed that things happen faster in Lagos.more opportunites abound. PH is second to lagos.kepp reading more drilling stuff. So that u can have them at the tip of ur fingers.
i kinda disagree with you on this though! Do you know the reason why Nlng move their headquarter from Lagos to Portharcourt?... Anyway kudos for keeping this thread alaive, u have done well.

Insanity: Okay, Thanks. What should be my next step to get into the industry with ma skills? If i need additional certificates or skills, which one will give me the edge over others 'cuz its very competitive?
it all depends on the area you want to work or specialise that will determine the certification you will do. Though as a Civil Engr, you will be of better postion in contract job, most civil engrs in the coy is incharge of bundwall/tank rehabilitation and other civil work, they are also incharge of generating scope of work, Method statement, work procedures to the contractors.

oremisussan: Thanks scantee, you respond almost immediately to queries. Kudos.
Yes, I did some google-ing for some Pertmaster trainings in Lagos. To be honest, they are quite on high sides, talking about money.
A 200k 3-Day training for a fresh graduate shouldn't be the next thing in line. Or what do you think?
wahoo is really high, most professional training is always expensive, i could recall when i did my fibre optic training, i paid 50k per hour, i spent ova 900k doing that, i wil advice you look for individuals that can teach you, the certificate does not matter, they hardly ask for that, all they care for is if you can handle it, or better still go and do primavela 9, if you can do that well, i might link you up for Ecvaos where such people are needed. I did both premavela & pertmaster in South Africa, is very interesting.

oremisussan: Thanks Chief. Sure would look in those directions in days to come. Would want to know, are they certifications or skills acquiarable via self study?
is a professional skill, most coy needs professional in those areas, since there are only few people that have the skill, though it might be hard for you to see a good place to do it, because most institutions is more specialised in MS Project. I knew of one institution for Lagos opp Aero Contractors Engineering Workshop MM International Airport, but i can't remember their name.

oremisussan: Hello OP(scantee) and everyone ,

As expected, the forum serves to raise hopes.

Wouldn't mind knowing what opportunity abounds for me in the sector:
>> A recent chemical Engineering Graduate (2-1)
>> Skilled (to expert level) at AutoCAD

Hate to sound generic but I could do a whole lot of other stuffs. Those are my best two selling points, by the way.

Thanks
i'm to believe that your good in 2/3 D-dimension? I will advice you do primavela or pertmaster 3-9 to widen your chances.
