I get teary every time it happens No matter how hard I try I still cannot hold it and I cry My lifted face eventually flattens The tears really get at me Quite obvious from what people see Sadly the circle repeats itself all the time Feelings like I don’t have a dime I get teary trying to resist it The effect on me is akin to deep heat I get in contact with it whenever I wear aprons I get teary whenever I slice onions |

Feeling neglected, I let go of myself There is a hole in my heart which is obvious from my story I can’t seem to find any piece of me on the reality shelf The darkness of neglect seem so gory I muster up courage and pick myself up I have to find my way home someday somehow But then I get powerless which makes me stop Reality checks starts now. |

Strange to say, I do not know what to write Seems so hard to decipher wrong from right They say the darkness is conquered by light That strength is not measured by might If they do not know the duration of the night How then do we expect the proverbial light The much spoken one that comes at the end of the night My incoherent thoughts are taking over my mind Am I alone with this thought or its one of a kind The extent of damage done to the earth by humankind Thankfully God isn't one of our kind Human existence would have been a thing of the past How did we get here? Yes!
