dabriggs: Please go and read the expose again and see his point. He is saying there should be a balance. And frankly, betwneen me and anybody who cares to be on the other side of the divide, we need more doctors and engineers than Davidos. We celebrate the obvious absurd in Nigeria. No where in the write up did he call entertainers lazy people. You see what the system has done to you all. You cant read and comprehend.

And please, teenagers who cant even spell words correctly should stop coming here to claim upcoming stars. Youths who are seriously intellectually disabled.

As a matter of fact what is special about Nigerian music and entertainment industry? Is it "skelewu!skelewu" or "doro..doro..doro". or "chorkini chorkin"? And frankly I am not expecting much from the so called aspiring stars of Nigeria. We will keep hearing the same senseless repetitions in their music.

One day we may all be affected by the effects of half-baked intelectualism from our prolonged neglect and lack of foresight. Until Kings become intellectuals or intellectuals becom kings we cannot develop.

Anyway,to be a bit cynical, what are we even talking about? Afterall even when Nigerian Stars were unappreciated Nigeria hardly developed. Standarsds coul have been better back then, but it wasnt much really.
lmfao @bolded it's "shoki shoki"

bigx: grin Bad Belle Post

See it this way, when everyone veers into music (and most fail), it would create a scarcity of professionals and the demand for doctors and the rest would increase with the attendant reduced supply (check the humongous failure rate in waec). The current poor salaries they are earning is a result of everybody wanting to be a doctor, lawyer or engineer because of perceived high salaries (at least when I went through school)

BluePearls: Right at about that. Must be used with caution.
The issue of wipe or no wipe before or after loading autoloaders have been debated for a while now. Some feel it's necessary while others think it's not. The whole point of doing a SIC wipe is to ensure you have a fresh phone to install on and to make sure traces or bugs of the previous OS do not cause issues for you other than the issues which comes with the installed OS.
Once again, as advised, use with caution people.
on point!!! in simpler terms, after a SIC wipe ur phone is just an ordinary material with no life..another VERY IMPORTANT WARNING, if u want to do a SIC wipe pls make sure u uninstall all uninstallable apps on d phone before SIC, implication of not doing so would result in a longer and I mean very long wipe process..take caution
Phones › Re: Blackberry 10 Devices Home: Z10, Q10 Etc by scarr: 6:51pm On Aug 26, 2014
BluePearls: For best results/performance.
1. Backup your device, do a customised backup of all your data and apps with link. Do not back settings cus restoring will result to issues.
2. Download the autoloader
3. Do a SIC wipe. This is necessary because SIC wipe, wipes all traces of the previous OS. For more info about SIC wipe and how to do it, check HERE.

Please make sure you do a backup of your phone and charge your phone at least up to 70%.
If NEPA no dey, be sure your PC can hold up to 2hrs of power.
If you're confused, please ask the guys in the house who know how to, to help you so you don't brick your phone or damage it. Good luck.
Just to chip in, too much SIC wipe damages d memory of the phone, so nldrs make sure u dont do it often

Literature › Re: AVAST!( A Poem For Our Brave Young Frontline Soldiers)- Overhypedsteve. by scarr: 9:32am On Aug 18, 2014
overhypedsteve: one that do not fully love poetry or appreciate it. Has now made himself a judge of the provisions of a poetic mind. Sir like i stated in my article which probably brought you here. There re several instruments available to a poet, in the prosecution of a poem. They call them figure of speech. We have: hyperbole: this figure of speech appreciates exaggeration to drive an idea home. E.g the wine drunk at the party is enough to float a ship.( Doesn't mean any sailor is about to attempt such novel navigational feat. By floating a cruiser on a sea of wine.)
antonomasia: derived from the Greek word "onoma", when something or someone's office, reputation or fame is transferred to another in literature e.g wole soyinka is the African Shakespeare.
Okay what if we liken those that do not really appreciate poetry to suicide bombers as they both bring to an end a thing of beauty. Does that make them suicide bombers?
Ok something common. What if i say " i drank a glass of water" does that mean i just injested a glass cup holding water?
The beauty of poetry is in you being able to decode its true meaning.
The comment you quoted permit me to say. Is a victim of poetic reverie.
well if it was intended to b an hyperbole den I understand, thanks for clearing d air..keep up d good work...

AkunneObinna: MISPLACED PIORITY?! wow, man i think you are on the wrong path, what's harassment compared to death? could it be compared to giving your life for a whole NATION? This men dare to steer death in the eyes with retarded armors. They life span are shortened so ours can be longer. With all these islam, political, tribal extremism, and plain hatred for one another, this men go in and lay their lives on the line, and we simply watch it on CNN and BBC unaware than under all the political decisions that its this men with unphantomably courage that acttually pay for the peace of a nation with their life!!!
I totally understand what u saying and d poem is actually a nice write up but for d op to say people blowing up other people and properties( dese are d people that reduces d life span of soldiers) are better than people that don't appreciate poetry is d misplaced priority. like he is bother more about d number of people that view and like his work than d msg he is trying to pass across

overhypedsteve: with this little words of encouragement you ve uplifted a broken man's spirit.
Those that would not appreciate the aesthetic beauty of indigenous poetry are far worst than those who blow up, ancient structures and monasteries in defence of religion. Your words, my man was well received.
@bolded so just because someone doesn't like poetry dat makes him a bad person? let ur work speak for u and stop d attention seeking.......ill rather stay with 100 non poetry lovers dan with one suicide bomber......plus ur poem won't stop a soldier from harassing you because u kicked a lil sand on his boots accidentally...#misplacedpriorities

cupid4ig: are u here to bash or are u here to find help? Read the name again blackberry protect. BlackBerry Protect doesn't prevent ur phone from getting stolen blackberry protect protects ur information when ur phone is stolen because it will securely wipe every bit of information off the phone including picture, number and email which android phones don't. If ur BlackBerry Protect is on and the person hasn't wiped the phone u can locate ur phone through the blackberry protect website. But when the phone is wiped it means the phone has bn disengaged from ur ur blackberry id. The only way to get it back is tracking it through the PIN number. When u lose a blackberry phone and u put password in it no one can be able to unlock that phone without wiping the phone cos once u put the wrong code 10 times everything will be wiped off. But u can't say the same of android. That's why blackberry don't allow root access. BlackBerry is about security, protecting ur informations from thieves and identity fraudsters but they are not responsible for bn careless with ur phone.
@bolded exact location at dat!!! dere was a time i didn't know where i dropped my phone, used d bb protect to trace it to my friends car

phayvorr: thanks for ur response bro, I really appreciate it........d apps are: all android store for apk, badoo, some games, ebay mobile nd lots more which I alredy hav deleted......
found 3 different methods to solved issue but note that the 3 methods didnt work for some people, d source of the problem is yet to be know
1. some people solved d issue buy using normal data plans, something in the bis seems to b restricting some android sideloaded apps
2. some got it solved by installing this particular leaked android runtime https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_1NS77sjLZKZ1I4c3A4NlhEdlk/edit
3. other got to fix it by accessing the escreen facility 3GPP-->Radio-->Utilities-->click the press button for PS patch (i dont know how to access the escreen menu, google is your friend).......nobody but you is responsible for any outcome of trying any of the above
