Firstly, as seen in some comments made about the ownership of Tecno, it's not owned by a Nigerian as believed, and secondly, it's not a global brand yet. Even though they have made giant strides over the years, they just entered India and Pakistan not long ago. And by the way, is GSM Arena the benchmark for measuring success?

Help me ask them please. If Tecno continues to improve like they've consistently done over the years, they will soon be global.

I believe one of the key point greenhalk made is that a lying company with fake substandard information can't enter gsmarena... now see that wiko with 756mb ram ....it was launched as 756mb ram not 1gig.. but tecno will launch a phone with 2400mah battery and call it 4000mah that's one of the many reasons why they can't enter gsmarena.... now watch that infinix Google used for experiment ... all specs are correct that's y it was able to enter gsmarena.........if your phone is not on gsmarena mehn you are on a long fat thing

I'm quite disappointed with techno. I purchased the techno canon CX and the speaker is very low, I always put it on speaker so I can be able to hear the receiving voice, even with that is quite low. Techno did a poor job on the speakers of this phone. Pls if there's a setting am not aware of, kindly inform me cause is seriously affecting my performance.

That's rare, check your sound settings, or maybe you take it to the nearest Carlcare for proper diagnosis.

Enough of all the fuss about gsmarena abeg. One thing v learnt is that Not all phones listed on the site is "quality" and not all phones not listed are substandard QED.

You can move to my area if u want. Light here is great. It has really improved. You're lucky you even have a phone that hardly dies. That's less stress.

OP, you can't buy a goat and expect the meat to be like cow own na. You got a very low budget phone and you're complaining about camera and how useless Tecno is, if they are useless, will they be accepted widely Like they are now?

Not limiting the device at all. But minor improvements won't hurt it. 4G?

The Camon CX is a little bit better than the C9. Both are good phones though.

tecno be making phones with mumu battery... if u are wise don't use a tecno phone more a year before u sell it...if speaker fault no dey battery go dey do anyhow

I don't know which phone you used, but my Tecno droipad 8H has been in use for more than a year now and it has never developed faults.

Not a bad device but could be better. Apart from the huge battery which is impressive, I think there should be more

Battery life is okay. But what makes it stand out is the life changing camera. Definitely one for the selfie lovers.

Lol you can't ridicule the Phantom 6 if you wanted to but that CX Camera is really solid tho.

Gotta give it to both phones then. But I'd slightly be sentimental and say that the CX's camera is great.

You will spend less than half of that money on Foreign brands with same or even better specs. Check out brands like Xiaomi, Meizu, Oukitel, Blackview, Ulefone etc its all over aliexpress. Their prices are relatively cheap using gtb master card for transactions.

Cheap? Delivery fees and all? Time of delivery too? I doubt if they are cheap. It's not even about the bank you're using doe transactions. It's the naira standing against the dollar, that's why I feel some brands like Tecno are still making their phones as affordable as they can.

Of course. It's a good deal. Exchange rate has had a negative effect on the price of imported goods and these phones is part of it. But with all the CX specs, I'll say it's worth the current value.

Very great. I bet you haven't seen the pictures taken by those phones. Sentiments apart, Tecno did a good job with the camera of the CX.

So far so good for Tecno this year, the devices they launched have given users a chance to choose based on what they like in a phone. I think the L9 Plus is for those who like a long lasting battery life.

Haba! The CX is not up to that o. It's price ranges from 68k to around 70k which is affordable. If not for the dollar rate, it sure will sell for less.

Nice phone, nice battery, large size. but the lack of 4g lte is a problem. some people will not spend 60k on a smartphone without 4g

That's the only flaw it has and even that isn't a flaw. No phone is perfect. I'll just add a few bucks to get the Camon CX just for the LTE and dope camera.
