enochogaga: sorry for the late response, just too busy in office, i do normally get tired when i get home, but i still try and make sure i reply all drop comments.
now is not rite to start ur gen or put ur gen on at first start, while ur load or applainces are connected to the gen,
when u start ur gen leave it to run like 2-3 munite, before powering ur load, now if u change the oil and top the tank and the stalling still persist, then ur valves are linking. Thanks sir but I believe I mentioned I let it warm up before transferring load onto it. Anyway, the culprit was the AC. It has been fixed and the gen works fine now. Thanks once again. |

oyinkinola: Nigeria is not an hunger state, God forbidden, you hungry and some owe's you money, he didn't pay and celebrate super-rich!(south africa) do you leave him or ask for your money? Swiss hold $321 million(₦1,284,000,000,000)! instead of repatriate the money, he put out condition and guide line before consider the repatriation of our money, worst, it even insist that the spending of that money must be supervised by IMF and world bank, and nigeria government must prepared notes on how the the money will be spent! isn't this foolish? is the money belong to them? is Nigeria borrow from Swiss? why impose on us? are we no longer sovereign nation? and the mumu cry of hunger here in nigeria! Although, Nigeria government may not like to take it hard with those countries, but Nigeria nation can hold them until our money release without any condition! You are speaking as if it is the Nigerian Government exactly that gave them this money. They are trying to help us. |

shadeyinka: I agree with you except for mining. Mining is the same as oil? It is a placebo. It doesn't solve our problem It doesn't but right now it seems the only other quick fix to boost our earnings before sustainable plans to get things right become reality. Hopefully it doesn't turn into another 'Dutch Disease' where we abandon the sustainable plans after getting comfortable |

Good evening prof, I need your opinion on something.
I have a 15kva diesel generator that recently sputters, stalls after transferring load to it after it has warmed up. Somtimes it picks up, other times it dies after stalling. The generator displays underfrequency/undervoltage shutdown alarms. I suspected overload and tried to reduce the load (I shut off one Air Conditioner Unit) before loading the gen. However after doing this, the sputter is still there albeit greatly reduced, but it does not die anymore. I then let it run for a while before switching on the AC again. What is/could be the problem here?
Thanks in advance |

Eltymob: I think so many people on this forum need to get their facts right in order not to mislead the younger ones here. For those saying a 2.2 graduate can only be admitted for MSc if his/her gp is 3.0 and above, pls which university said that? I graduated from OAU with a gp less than 3.0, got admitted for MSc in a course different and even superior than my first degree at University of Ibadan, and right now i'm on my doctorate, and also working in a renown NGO! So pls, get your facts right. Do your best to graduate with a good grade, and if you don't, maybe because of one reason or the other, do not let anyone put you down. You can still be who you want to be, God and determination are what you need. I told them o but they said your daddy has to be a VC |
