Injury knock Asisat Oshoala out for another 10weeks.....

Seems her Golden boots race is over!

Falcons must go on the long balls in the return, we can't do midfield play with the Ivorienes. They are technically better, more skillful and very mobile. Experience triumphed over exuberance today. Whilst we celebrate victory, we must ask ourselves, when and how did we become so ordinary?

As much as I love Super Falcons, our performance today against Ivorians in our own yard is poor.

The result was never a reflection of what happened on the field of play.

We were totally outplayed at the midfield and became ordinary to the Ladies Elephants.

Unless, Randy Waldrum corrects those noticeable errors at the midfield, we might not be this lucky against this team on the road.

While we celebrate the slim victory, let the coaching crew and players check themselves and work harder for the return leg

More work need to be done!

Wasn't an easy game though

Ashleigh Plumptre.......

Solid Performance from Ashleigh...

Rasheedat Ajibade better and better...
Michelle Alozie settling well into the Right Back position... She played as a wing back though but was more defensive.

Tony Payne versatility another advantage, wing back from the Left...

Ohale, Onome, Ashleigh as the 3 center Backs.. Ashleigh letter moved more to the Left when we were two goals up!

England Lose, Nigeria gain

FT:

This referee is Bias ..

Once Onome Ebi retires..... Ashleigh Plumptre should definitely wear the no.5 jersey.

She gives her alllllllllll 100%

dankorode:
which player?

The Ivorians no.10 who plays for UDG Tenerife in Spain.

This free kick is dangerous...the player is dangerous

Ifeoma Onumonu....... Should have been her 3rd goal

Gooooooooaaaalllll

 She’s a true professional.
Ashleigh is always focused and calm on the ball . Decision making is good. I feel confident with her in our back line...

do4luv14:
boss pls dey drop steady update, nepa don show me shege here

Hahaha.... Onome Ebi was forced to give Ashleigh a hug... She's the most impressive in the Backline..

Kudos to Mitchelle Alozie who's giving the Ivorians most dangerous player a tough time, Aisha Buhari cup taught her a great lesson...

do4luv14:
so my ball is balling, and am missing it, chaii

Have always knew she would be up to the task..

Ashleigh Plumptre to the rescue... Her height really paid off just now

Rasheedat Ajibade........ It's going to be difficult for Halimatu Ayinde to battle off Ajibade from that spot. She's getting better and better.
