carbonado:Na that gbe Bodie be the main Koko now if not she has got all the attributes but that African power is what matters next.. With her regular training with the team it will also improve her physical side of the game alot. |
Schemerkhiz:Aside Player's techniques, the WSL is one of the most Competitive though still a predictable league... They use more of power, Pace and Strength, rather than techniques.. I believe She would definitely adapt as soon as possible.. |

Leicester City confirms the departure of Jonathan Morgan from his role as LCFC Women First Team Manager. The Football Club would like to place on record its thanks to Jonathan for everything he has helped the Club to achieve during his time as manager, which included promotion to the FA Women’s Super League as FA Women’s Championship winners. Assistant Manager Michael Makoni and First Team Coach Holly Morgan also depart with the Club’s best wishes for their future careers. Holly, who transitioned to a coaching role at the end of last season, came through the Academy ranks to eventually captain the side before her retirement from playing. All three have played an important role in the development of LCFC Women, particularly since the Club turned professional following its acquisition by King Power in August 2020. Retention of its FA Women’s Super League status is central to the Club’s vision for the long-term development of women’s football in the city. The Club feels a change in leadership is now necessary to give the team the best possible chance of achieving this in the remaining months of the season. Jonathan Morgan said: “This Club has been part of mine and my family’s life for 12 years from when my sister Holly Morgan joined as a young player. To have taken Leicester from the Midlands Division 1 to a FAWSL club gives me nothing but pride. Earning promotion last season in the manner we did will always be a memory I can share with the fans and the city. “This season has been disappointing, with injuries contributing to a difficult start, but we haven’t achieved the results we had hoped for. “I wish the Club, the staff and the players my very best.” Head of Women’s Football Development Emile Heskey will oversee First Team training in preparation for the team’s fixture against Manchester United in the Continental Cup on Sunday 5 December, while the Club undertakes the process of appointing a new manager. There will be no further comment on the matter until that process is complete.

Quick update: Anam Imo called up as a replacement for injured Striker Desire Oparanozie.
|
isan:Onyinyechi Zogg for me doesn't even have a permanent role at AS Soyaux because she has played Left Back, Center Back and Right Back... Against PSG she played Left Back Against some few other Clubs she played Center Back...no.6 Specifically Against Lyon she played Right Back Have personally watched all their league games this Season because of her, She isn't doing bad anyway.. |
isan:I will definitely go with Patricia George and Nicole Payne ahead of Zogg at Left Back.. |
Adekite Fatuga Dada is in camp
|
jaiyeoriestyle:Please Don't share this here again.. This Platform is for Nigeria women football especially the National Teams and Women Football worldwide.. |
AkinDS:She's a Midfielder but mostly like it when she plays from the side.. Eg Right Midfield. A Compact Midfield Formation preferably.. No news of her in Camp yet.. |
Osinachi Ohale, Uchenna Kanu excused themselves out.. Can't tell about Ifeoma Onumonu right now but once her get full details about her absence from the team for a while now I will keep you guys posted.. |
Midfielders: Adekite Dada (Watford FC, England); Peace Efih (Kiryat Gat, Israel); Yetunde Aluko (WFC Ramat Hasharon, Israel); Amanda Mbadinuju (Bayelsa Queens); Goodness Onyebuchi (Edo Queens); Grace Igboamalu (Bayelsa Queens); Toni Oyedupe Payne (Sevilla FC, Spain); Regina Otu (Minsk FC, Belarus); Christy Ucheibe (Benfica FC, Portugal) A Midfield of the following player should be good enough for the Superfalcons. 1. lakesidepapa:Halimatu Ayinde is back from injury but not fit at all.. She has been doing some personal training. She would be available for the AWCON for sure but not certain about her availability for the game against CIV except a Miracle.. Same with Chinaza Uchendu she's battling with fitness, she looks heavy. |
do4luv14:Some players were excused... Ordega is recovering from an Injury haven't played any game since the first leg against Ghana |
First Training done....
|
Ashleigh Plumptre on her way already...
|
lovewins:Patricia George is a Utility Player, She plays literally all the position on the Field except as a Goalkeeper just like Switzerland and Barcelona Ana-Maria Crnogorčevi, England and Houston Dash Rachel Daly... Talking about her College days she played more as a Full back and Wingback both Left and Right cause she uses both feets.. Currently at SC Sand she Plays as a Left Winger. During her stints with Chicago Red Stare Reserve before her move to Germany she played as a top 9 and as a Full Back... At the Turkish Tournament early this year she played Central Midfield and Right back for the Superfalcons though for few minutes.. |
AkinDS:As for Christy UCHEIBE it's a Typographical error... |

Super Falcons Defender Glory Ogbonna and Umeå IK have parted ways by mutual consent, the club has announced. Ogbonna joined Umeå IK on a two-year deal last summer, at the end of her stint with Nigeria Women Football League side Edo Queens. The 22-year-old Defender played a crucial role in helping Umeå IK soar to the summit of the Elitettan and gain promotion to the top flight (Damallsvenskan) this season with two woman of the match awards. According to the African Women Cup of Nations winner, the reason for breaking her contract is based on weather condition. “It is with sadness in my heart that my stay at a reputable club like Umeå IK will come to an end soon. Umeå IK welcomed me, they gave me a home, the coaches, management, players made life easy for me and I will forever be grateful. After considering the weather at this time, it will be hazardous to remain here due to the weather. I want to thank the Club for understanding my decision although it is a difficult one to make. Umeå IK will forever remain in my heart as you gave me my first experience playing club football outside Nigeria. To my players, fans, thanks for everything, the wonderful memories will forever be in my heart.” In response, the Swedish based club thanked Glory Ogbonna for giving her all to the club and will miss her. “Umeå IK FF thinks it is very sad that a skilled character player like Glory Ogbonna is forced to leave the club prematurely, but of course we respect her wishes, It will be very interesting to follow Glory’s further development and we are convinced that it will turn out very well for her. We would like to say a big and warm thank you to Glory for her time in the club and wish her all the best in her continued career”, the club announced. |
