You seems to have made up your mind on that brand of car. You can modify your car in naija to suit your need.
My advice will be to buy one or two max for a test so that you avoid stories that touch the heart grin
ameristu:
Your observation is very accurate. Can I have the car raised by a professional mechanic here in Lagos?

This man knows the logic. I will never play with my activity score...
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Schiphol(m): 11:55pm On Oct 30, 2017
The reason for that is very simple.
Less driver to service Uber riders at the moment while on the other hand, more driver to service average rider request on Taxify. Therefore, any driver will always get request on Uber either 30 minutes away or 1 minutes.
But you might not get request quickly on Taxify if your activity % is low.
Always maintain between 98% to 100% activity on Taxify and see the difference in waiting time.
My advice for anyone with less activity score on Taxify is to never stay in a competitive environment. You should rather be more active in less competitive environment until your activity score improve to 98%.

iamspeedracer:
I mo ṣsee request all over Lagos i just tìrẹ. Anytime I go online uber I get request in less than 5 minutes. In taxify I can wait hours before I get a request

I use an app (Fuelio) to calculate my fuel consumption each top-up.
So my calculation is based on average consumption after driving on both app.
Their is still some difference even in the earnings no matter how little.
Romeo3:
it's the same for me.

don't forget I analysed based on my own experience.

do yours. don't assume.
Exactly my point Bro. That's what I meant by it's not 100% true that Uber = Taxify.
More request on Uber = more driving/fuel consumprion while on the other hand Little request on Taxify = more waiting period and less fuel consumption. Though waiting period on Taxify has reduced recently.

ogunvic41:
The difference is very small bro...
I know my weekly average fuel consumption...
25k to 30k
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Schiphol(m): 8:05pm On Oct 21, 2017
That statement may not be 100% true in all scenerios.
Example: Fuel consumption on Taxify is never going to be the same on Uber.
You can prove me wrong though.
Romeo3:
uber = taxify

difference is English.

So you quit driving already?
entparrot:
Stop trying to make it a big deal driving in any of this platform.

You don't need any damn skills, all you need is to on that app and hit the road.
When I drove with Uber couple of months ago, I just on my app from my home, and from there I connect riders until I get tired, then I go back home, no skills, all you need to open Google map and practice how it work.

This ogunvic is only trying to act as a semi god in driving, so people will call him and his head will become bigger, well that's human nature.

BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Schiphol(m): 9:45pm On Oct 17, 2017
I concur.
Every business has it's own success secret.
Among the "skills" are
1. Day to work.
2. Time to work.
3. Where to work (#positioning)
4. Professionalism.

ogunvic41:
Driving on uber or taxify is more than moving car about or knowing Lagos roads...
Guys that drives well and know roads are not even making money, that's y they complain...
Its professional driving it involves a lot of skills...

Someone is trying to manipulate us into buying peageuot cars.

Bc peageuot dealer gave them good incentives if they manage to find a buyer, that's the reason they started praising peageuot cars, when nobody ask them.

Romeo3 the chief agent is using Honda accord evil spirit.

ogunvic is the ijebu that purchased the car, bc is so cheap, then the importer pleaded with him to help him sell, he will be given 20% incentives.

Simple truth.
mrsage:
Ladies and gentlemen. Calm down!

@romeo and Ogunvic good job. Keep it up. You guys teach and mentor people via this platform and it's commendable.

407 is good and ideal for business. Wise Choice. You will enjoy it.

I suggest you argue less with faceless people online. Share information freely but leave people make dem talk.

I'm also in this business but I hardly comment here since I discovered we now have too many "Online experts".

We should always remember that in business we all cannot adopt the same strategy and approach.
