PS: I am using GTB savings account, and not domicilliary account. They said funds above $1030 are to be processed in NGN on afternic. Also, another $20 tx fee will be charged for wire transfer after 20% commission. Is there anyway to avoid this heavy fees?

Just set your currency to USD and fill in your GTB bank details correctly.

They don't refund. They keep the money for you in there safe, for your next buy/purchase.

When next you are purchasing a domain, you will see the funds, click on it and your transaction will process with ease. But if you truly want a refund, send an email to that effect and it will be processed.
