Tell her very jokingly and watch closely how she reacts to that. The feedback will show you which way to go. But the best advice is not to try it at all because you may strain the relationship. Besides what if she was your girl how would you feel if another guy hacks into her life? |
Car Talk › Re: Motor Accidents You've Watched Or Experienced? by Scopium(op): 8:28am On Apr 23, 2008 |
nobilia: This is not about a motor accident but about a weird accident that happened this morning. The lift in my friend's apartment went dark yesterday night, the apartment management have closed office for the day, the bulbs could only be changed when they resume in the morning. My friend's neighbour was about to go to work this morning, he was typing a message on his phone while approaching the lift. He pressed the lift button, the door opened and he went in, the guy landed almost 17 floors to his death within the lift compartment. What really caused this was that the management guys were changing the bulbs on the ground floor and decided to handle a minor maintenance which made the lift to malfunction, this caused the lift gate on my friend's floor to open without the lift bucket(carrier) being on the same floor and the victim went in taking the darkness to mean that the bulb have not been repaired, the message he was typing didn't allow him pay much attention to notice that the carrier wasn't there. The firemen came in about 10 minutes later and the body was retrieved. If this kind of thing could happen here, people in naija should be careful about this kind of super weird accidents. That's really weird, sorry to hear that |

The fact that it is original gives it 50% credit. The sample can only compete for a part of the remaing 50%. For me original is the mother of the sample so the sample cannot ever be better. The age may be different that's why the appreciation differs |

I put 4 bottle caps across a sugar box to act as tyres and was pulling it with a rice-sack thread around my compound only for my mummy to grab me from no-where and scream that i have not completed my homework instantly, she stamped on my model car and it crushed it to a wreckage, you should have seen it! i was lucky i was not inside the box if not i would have died!

I love being unique, different from the rest and that was the main reason why I adopted a special font to be associated with my posts. I love papyrus font and have been using it on nairaland. I have been getting loads of compliment on it both on nairaland and yahoo messenger but Seun's is seeing OBJ's face. In his exact words; Please stop using that annoying font . Tell me what is so ANNOYING about this font? Seun has gone ahead to change my post on auto to the regular font. If all post were supposed to be BLAND and ARTLESS why did he put the choice of font feature. If I choose a colour now he will tell me it's annoying but he put the colour there. Nairalanders help me tell Seun to leave my font alone. Sani Abacha approach is not the best for Nairaland. |

Ever Had A Motor Accident Before? I Survived One This Morning! I just watched it happen.
In that split of a second that seemed frozen into eternity your mind wander as you wonder, is this my last day on earth, why did I enter this bus, why did I embark on this trip, God why me? They are just uncountable. The danfo driver in order to avoid traffic pulled the usual James Bond stunt driving by climbing the side walk. This crazy dude was on speed, lost control almost plunged us in the ditch, God just swerved him back on the road he bashed a honda city.
Thank God no life was lost. If you've had such experience maybe as a by-stander just share with us, if not share with us still. |
