We should stop celebrating failures. Saisia has failed Nigerians and he should be shown the exit door out of Nigeria Football. Amoudu was doing very well to my opinion yet he got sacked. So, a failure like Siasia should not be left to continue. Etuhu is doing very well for his club but Siasia has never invited him to play for Nigeria.

MegaMan87:
The Super Eagles aren't worth time anymore. They used to give me hyper tension but as soon as I realised that they didn't care about my country I forgot about them. They don't have the heart to play for Nigeria. They will have an enormous sense of self entitlement that doesn't match their play on the pitch. They don'tmatch up to the great super Eagle teams from 1994-2002.

Can you imagine that idiooot Osaze Odemwingie had the nerve to blame fans for his poor performance against Ghana? Common, shut up you lazy ibo .
Did you say against Ghana? I laugh in boko
Sports › Siasia Knows Fate Today After The Match Against Ghana by scopusng(op): 11:17pm On Oct 10, 2011
THE future of Samson Siasia as Head Coach of the Super Eagles, subject of intense speculation after Nigeria's ouster from the 2012 Nations Cup on Saturday, would be determined after he must have replied a query issued him by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The Technical Committee of the NFF had late Saturday night at its emergency meeting following the 2-2 draw recorded by the Super Eagles against Guinea, decided to fire a memo to Siasia asking him to give reasons for Eagles' failure to qualify for the Nations Cup and why he should continue to hold onto his job as head of the coaching crew.

The result of the match marked the first time in 26 years that the country would be failing to play at the Nations Cup finals.

Foreign Affairs › Troy Davis To Die Tomorrow by scopusng(op): 5:32pm On Sep 20, 2011
ATLANTA (AP) — Georgia's pardons board rejected clemency for Troy Davis on Tuesday, one day before his scheduled execution, despite high-profile support from figures including an ex-president and a former FBI director for the claim that he was wrongly convicted of killing a police officer in 1989.

Davis is scheduled to die Wednesday by injection for killing off-duty Savannah officer Mark MacPhail, who was shot dead while rushing to help a homeless man being attacked. It is the fourth time in four years that Davis' execution has been scheduled by Georgia officials.

While some stars try so hard to stay away from controversies, some are busy swimming in it. One of the people in the latter group is star actress, Tonto Dikeh.

It all started on the set of a new movie, the director noticed that Tonto Dikeh and Ghanaian star actor, Van Vicker were rehearsing their lines separately, counter to the normal coming together for rehearsal before shoot. The movie director steps in to bridge the gap between the duo, but is presence stirred up Tonto’s anger as she started throwing tantrum.

The situation worsens when Tonto lit her cigarette and started puffing,Van Vicker told her politely to stop or she smoke outside.Tonto took that to be an insult, and she started insulting Van Vicker by using words like Bleep you,who the Bleep do you think you are, asshole, motherfucker.

According to source, It took the timely intervention of cast and crew on set, before they could calm Tonto dikeh down as she threatened to hit Van Vicker with the table by the side.

TV blackout for Super Eagles game

Posted: 2011-09-04 10:40

Nigerian fans will be denied the opportunity of seeing the live transmission of Sunday's decisive 2012 African Nations qualifier against Madagascar due to CAF's broadcast rights deal with French television company Sport5.

The Confederation of African Football bundled the rights to all African Nations Cup qualifying games, with Sport5 securing the exclusive rights.

Nigerian television stations NTA and AIT, which wanted to broadcast the game in the country, were allegedly asked to pay up $750 000 for signals. Both refused, claiming the cost was way too high.

As a consequence, and just like the Ethiopia game in June, Nigerian fans will not get to see the Super Eagles play Madagascar.

Nigeria is not an isolated case, as South Africans are also in danger of missing out on seeing Bafana Bafana play Niger for similar reasons.

Live text update of the game will be available on TeamKickOffNigeria.com
