LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE GOD https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/planned-protests-by-emefiele-supporters-in-abuja-other-cities-loom/ A planned protest by some groups loyal to the Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele, to stage 'massive protests' across various cities of Nigeria, including Abuja, Lagos, Asaba, Port Harcourt, Kaduna and Kano, has been uncovered. The National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) learnt from a reliable source that the massive protests, which was decided late Monday night, during a meeting alledgedly organised by the duo of Toochukwu Ohazuruike and Godwin Meliga at Rockview Hotel, Abuja, will commence on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 and run through to Friday, December 23, 2022. "Through out this week, we agreed to protest from Wednesday till Friday. We are ready to protest on Friday. We want those going for Jumat to join us. It is a Bichi Must Go protest," the source said. Recall that Abuja was on Monday, 19th December rocked by protests staged by a coalition of groups that accused the DSS of instituting a court case against the CBN Governor over allegations of terrorism financing. It was also gathered that "the planners agreed to use the hurriedly organised Coalition of National Interest Defenders (CNID), a group of self acclaimed activists cutting across tribal and professional groups to carry put the protests." Sources at the CAC have confirmed that CNID is unregistered and therefore not a corporate body. Meanwhile, the DSS, in a statement earlier released by its Public Relations Officer, Peter Afunanya, and made available to NAOSNP, advised the public not to be swayed by opinions of detractors, maintaining that it would not be distracted by activities of hirelings.

Let Everything That Has Breath Praise The LORD. Praise GOD Why Gov Sanwo-Olu must stop Sola-Giwa's mission to impose PDP Stalwart, Adeyinka Aroyewun on Lagos transport stakeholders. By: Fashina Shakiru. The Special Adviser to the Lagos State on Transportation has been playing politics with Leadership of COMTUA and other transport unions. Hence, Hon Sola Giwa needs to be cautioned for his unscrupulous action for imposing a PDP Starwart, Mr Taofeek Adeyinka Aroyewun, President, Council for Maritime Truck Unions Association, (COMTUA) to head all Maritime Stakeholder Associations in Lagos. Speaking with one of the members of the Union, he said, 'although, I understand the fact that, this will be help to have a unified body than proliferation of different unions, yet it contradicted the statement issued by Lagos State Ministry of Transportation. In consonance to this, here is the statement released by the Ministry of Transportation, Lagos state '' according to Lagos State white paper on Transport unions Activities 2004, "to ensure peace and tranquility is maintained by different associations in the Maritime sector and to address various challenges confronting this sector in the state, I am directed that a single body is formed in order to manage, monitor and supervise the operation of members in this transportation sector." With this, what does the future hold for the all Maritime stakeholder association? Because If as claimed by the ministry that their intentions is for sanity and to streamline all stakeholders in the Maritime sector, and COMTUA recognised as unified body of all the associations. It will be fine to note that, COMTUA is a centrifugal force of insanity and disordeliness in the maritime industry seeking to impose themselves and be extorting maritime truckers with many allegations of corruption, embezzlement and misappropriation of funds. The questions lingering on the mind of people begging for answers are; why would the SA transport to the Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu recently recognised them as umbrella body of transporters against the general interest of maritime truckers in the maritime industry? What is behind Sola-Giwa imposition of Yinka as the leader of COMTUA,who is a prominent PDP member in Ikorodu and Apapa. How can sola-Gwa be romancing Yinka of dubious character seeking to unseat Governor Sanwo-Olu that employed him? Sola-Giwa like Yinka are leopards that can never change their spots or mean-spirited of dubious characters For Sola-Giwa is a Lagos-based politician and one term law maker who represents Lagos Island constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly before he was appointed S.A on Central Business District in Lagos state. on his rerun to the Lagos State House of Assembly before he was urged to step down and given appointment as S.A Transportation to the Governor Babajide Dear Mr Governor, with all these , no reforms introduced to the transportation rather than plotting and mis-matching heads to create problems in the Maritime industry. Part of his irresponsible action recently was recognising an association and their leader that are enemies of the state, with no contribution to the state or the ruling party in the state or federal. May I say without any prejudice, that this is a clear case of anti party by S A on Transport and he should come out to clear the air, why he has been romancing and deliberately using PDP agent to supervise Maritime stakeholder Associations when members of APC are working and campaigning for the party. I am sure Sola-Giwa is embarking on a mission of no return , because of his love for money which he is getting from the Maritime sector which is one of the booming industries of exploration and exhortation of people. His partner , Yinka is a PDP candidate vying for the House of Representatives for Ikorodu Federal Constituency who has been campaign for both Ikorodu and Apapa axis, using his position to extort and harassing the members of the union. On this note, there is an urgent attention to caution Sola-Giwa unscrupulous manner.

Let Everything That Has Breath Praise The LORD. Praise GOD https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/dss-calls-for-peace-during-the-yuletide-season/ As the yuletide season approaches, the Department of State Services (DSS) has called on politicians, religious leaders, and citizens to conduct themselves in a manner which will promote public peace and order during the celebrations. The Service made this known to National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP in a press statement released by the National PRO, Dr. Peter Afunanya in Abuja yesterday 15th December, 2022. On its part, 'The Service pledges to collaborate with all stakeholders to maintain law and order across the country. To this end, community, religious and political bodies/leaders are requested to preach peaceful coexistence, tolerance and unity as well as enlighten their members on safety measures during and after the season. Similarly, political actors, while carrying out their campaigns, are expected to play the game according to the rules of engagement.' 'In the same vein, players in the socio-economic sector are enjoined to avoid manipulative tendencies that could result in undue price hikes, artificial scarcity of products/goods and situations that may lead to heightened tensions. On the side of the media and other non-governmental organizations (NGOs), the Service urges them to be objective and patriotic in the discharge of their roles. They should understand that the practice of their trade(s) could be more result-oriented in an atmosphere of peace. As critical stakeholders in nation building and national security management, they need to consider Nigeria first before any other interest(s)' The Service also advised Nigerians, 'They should shun fake news, hate speech, violence and acts inimical to national security. This becomes necessary as criminal elements may want to capitalise on the festivities to wreak havoc or harm unsuspecting members of the public.' On the allegations that DSS maltreats suspects, Afunanya disclosed: 'To sustain national stability, the Service will continue to carry out its duties and responsibilities in line with global best practices as they affect human rights and rule of law. This is despite calculated efforts by some interest groups to create impression that persons arrested by the Service are either not taken care of or denied access to their families and/or legal representatives.' 'It is instructive to note that the Service has a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on suspect handling. It considers this and general care of suspects sacrosanct and a priority. This can undoubtedly be attested by those that had passed through its holding facilities. For every suspect under its detention, the Service allows a family and/or legal representative, who fulfilled all the processes and clearance procedures, access to such a suspect. The public may note that the Service does not carry out illegal arrests or undertake enforced disappearances of innocent persons. It also does not operate illegal detention camps. Its operations and activities are rule-based and governed by transparent and accountable legal processes. The DSS, therefore enjoins those opposed to its lawful position on issues to approach the court for redress.' 'For emphasis, everyone is encouraged to live in peace and good neighbourliness but should, however, be conscious of his/her environment. People should desist from false and deliberate narratives and actions that may incite the populace against itself or the government. While the Service reiterates its partnership with sister agencies to ensure adequate security before, during and after the yuletide and election seasons, residents are advised to report any information of relevance to the appropriate security and law enforcement agencies. Once again, the DGSS, Alhaji Y.M Bichi, CFR, fwc, Management and Staff of the DSS wish all and sundry, fruitful and peaceful celebrations. Happy New Year in advance', NAOSNP gathered.

We Will Always Respect Rule of Law in Nigeria - IGP Baba - IGP Orders Deployment of DIG, 4 Other Senior Officers https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/we-will-always-respect-rule-of-law-in-nigeria-igp-baba/ The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has today, set aside the contempt proceedings and committal order against the Office of the Inspector General of Police. In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP by the Police Spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi stated that, "The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja and presided over by Honourable Justice Bolaji Olajuwon has today, Wednesday 14th December 2022, set aside the contempt proceedings and committal order against the Office of the Inspector-General of Police." According to the statement, "The Court similarly discharged and acquitted the IGP of the conviction and 3 months sentence. This is following the motion filed before the Federal High Court on Thursday 1st December, 2022, highlighting the basis why the order should be vacated, particularly as the Force had complied with the original ruling of the court for the reinstatement of one Patrick C. Okoli, the plaintiff in the matter." "The earlier ruling was predicated on a reinstatement order for the plaintiff, a dismissed Police Officer, whose dismissal was ruled to be wrongful by the Court. It is noteworthy that earlier Inspectors-General of Police had complied with the order in line with the statutory authority of the Office of the IGP. This is in view of several letters and reminders earlier sent to the Police Service Commission, the body statutorily responsible for effecting such reinstatements, requesting compliance with the court order to reinstate and promote the Officer to his deserved rank." The learned Honourable Justice in his ruling held that the IGP has substantially complied with the judgment of the court earlier delivered in 2011 since 2015, and is therefore entitled to acquittal, and accordingly acquitted him of any wrongdoing. The IGP has, therefore, commended the Court for setting aside the order, while reiterating the unwavering commitment of the Nigeria Police Force under his watch to uphold and respect the rule of law, and ensure the continuous protection of the fundamental rights of all persons. In another development, with a view to promoting professionalism and efficiency in the NPF, the IGP has redeployed the supervising Deputy Inspector-General of Police, South-East Geo-Political Zone, DIG John Amadi, mni, who was hitherto in charge of the Department of Research and Planning, to the Department of Logistics and Supply, Force Headquarters, Abuja, following the retirement of DIG Zanna M. Ibrahim, mni. DIG Amadi, a member of the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), hails from Ebonyi State and alumnus of the University of Lagos. Similarly, new heads have been posted for some Commands and Formations to ensure that officers are tasked with roles commensurate with their professional capability and capacity. The other newly posted senior police officers include CP Patrick Kehinde Longe who takes over as Commissioner of Police in charge of Osun State Police Command; CP Adepoju Ayinde Ilori who takes charge of the Police Special Fraud Unit, FCID Annex, Lagos with effect from 28th December, 2022; CP Isyaku Mohammed appointed as the Head of Police Accounts and Budget; and CP Faleye E.S. Olaleye as CP Administration, FCID, Force Headquarters, Abuja.

https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/michael-jordans-last-dance-jersey-fetches-a-record-10-1-million/ Written by Jack Guy, Contributors Oscar Holland A jersey worn by basketball star Michael Jordan during one of the most famous seasons in his NBA career sold for a record $10.1 million at a New York auction Thursday. The eight-figure sum was more than double initial estimates, setting a new auction record for a piece of game-worn sports memorabilia, according to Sotheby's, which organized the sale. Jordan wore the Chicago Bulls jersey in Game 1 of the 1998 NBA Finals, the culmination of a famous season known as "The Last Dance" that featured in a 2020 ESPN and Netflix documentary series of the same name. On June 3, 1998 Jordan pulled on the jersey for a game against the Utah Jazz, scoring 33 points in 45 minutes in a Bulls loss. It is one of only two of his jerseys worn in a finals game to ever appear at auction, said Sotheby's, which billed it as "one of the most significant items from Michael Jordan's career." In a statement, Brahm Wachter, Sotheby's head of streetwear and modern collectables, said the sale "solidifies Michael Jordan as the undisputed GOAT (greatest of all time), proving his name and incomparable legacy is just as relevant as it was nearly 25 years ago." Prior to the sale, Wachter had called the 1997-1998 season "perhaps one of the most popular among Jordan fans, as Michael was reaching the height of his abilities while simultaneously pursuing what he understood would be his last chance at an NBA Championship with the Chicago Bulls."

Let Everything That Has Breath Praise The LORD. But really education is a never-ending pursuit. Even in our daily routine, we are still learning. So when someone makes a conscious decision to register for academic courses, it is more learning. This is what has happened in the case of the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Section of Public Interest and Development Law (NBA-SPIDEL) and Life Patron of the National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP, Dr. Monday Onyekachi Ubani as he goes back to school to acquire an Higher degree in Law. Let Everything That Has Breath Praise The LORD. Praise GOD By: Fashina Shakiru. https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/laspgm-comtua-and-punch-newspaper-caught-spreading-fake-news/ We are surprised and shocked with the news headlined 'Truckers write Sanwo-Olu over four missing members', published in the 'Punch Newspaper Online' dated Today, 14th December, 2022. The news publication also falsely stated that, "Illegal possession of firearms, suspected muwrder, kidnapping, vandalism of properties, and break down of law and order when their members, Council for Maritime Truck Unions and Associations, (COMTUA) trying to ensure sanity in the movement of truck were attacked by hoodlums suspected to be 'Ecomog Boys'." To set the record straight and rebut malicious allegations made by the COMTUA and erroneously published without proper investigation by a reputable Punch newspapers; There is NO group known as "Ecomog Boys" in Mile 2, but there is a body known under the state transport regulation called Lagos State Park and Garages Management, (LASPGM) Amuwo Odofin Branch; There is NO element of truth in the said report, which is very alarming and ill motivate to cause chaos in the state. However, what transpired on Tuesday, 13th December, 2022 at Mile 2 bridge, Apapa/Oshodi expressway, When A team of Nigeria Police from Area E, Festac Town division led Council for Maritime Truck Unions and Associations (COMTUA) members to the designated check point for trucks and heavy-duty containers accessing Apapa Port, Invoking purported 'Order from the Lagos state, Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi that LASPGM members should evacuate the road'. In respond to this, a member of the LASPGM, asked for the warrant or letter to that effect, whereas, NO LETTER OR WARRANT WAS PRESENTED OR PRODUCED." With NO record of violence, harassment or intimidation and video evidence to that effect, in a very diplomatic and friendly manner, both parties resolved that a proper warrant or letter addressed to the branch while copying the state chairman of the LASPGM whose activities is backed by the Lagos State Transport Regulation, is required for such order to be invoked. It was a great shock and dismay to read in a publication this morning that 'Truckers write Sanwo-Olu over four missing members'. We want to categorically state that, THIS IS A FALSE ALARM AND BLATANT FAKE NEWS. It seems the news was prepared based on perception and fabricated statement to cause uprise in the state and dent to the image of LASPGM members. It is good to clear the air on these baseless and fallacious allegation levelled against our members; NO police officers was belittled and NO breakdown of law and order, as everyone was going on about their normal businesses; The police officers conducted themselves in a good professional manners to ensure that there is no breakdown of law and orders. The police who led the COMTUA members later urged them to WRITE A LETTER TO THE APPROPRIATE AUTHORITY to avoid any unrest. We strongly protest the publication of such online newspaper and call the attention of the Lagos state, Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi to investigate on the subject matter. It is also interesting to note that, this group called COMTUA which is headed by one Prince Taofeek Adeyinka Aroyewun popularly known as YINKA is not a registered and recognized union under state laws in Lagos, therefore has no business on the state road; Claiming to ensure sanity on the road blocked, where there are state authority and stakeholders responsible to ensure free flow of traffic on the axis of Mile 2 bridge, Apapa/Oshodi expressway. The head of COMTUA, Yinka, as fondly called is also a member of Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria, (RTEAN) which was recently banned by the state government and a prominent member of People's Democratic Party, PDP in Lagos state. He is a temerity of unscrupulous hustler and blackmailer who has been working for PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar with intentions to cause serious political havoc in the state. It is categorically to state that, this is the period of electioneering, the public and state government should note that, COMTUA President, Prince Taofeek Adeyinka Aroyewun popularly known as YINKA should be held responsible for any unrest or attack on LASPGM Amuwo Odofin members, particularly Mile 2, Apapa/Oshodi expressway, because we have gathered with some evidence that he will lead clandestine attack on major grassroots mobilizers of All Progressives Congress, APC in the coming days which the service has been paid. Finally, Our Members are law-abiding citizen, we therefore call on Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Commissioner of Police Abiodun Alabi and Ministry of Transportation to look into matter as soon as possible. FASHINA SHAKIRU Media for LASPGM Amuwo Odofin, Badagry division.

1. Elvis: The King Elvis Presley made a lot of money during his stellar career. However, he had no idea how to handle it. He spent a fortune on a luxurious lifestyle and treating his friends. For example, he would pay to have hotel rooms redecorated to look like a room in his mansion, Graceland-, he didn’t want to get homesick. At the time of his death in 1977, Presley was almost broke. And his money had never made him happy. His ex-wife, Priscilla, eventually took charge of Elvis’s estate after his death because Lisa Marie, their daughter, was still a minor. If Elvis had no head for business, Priscilla did. She converted what little was left into a $100 million business.

Yet, he had brushes with the law in his native Canada since 1981.In 1998, he bought a two-dollar lottery ticket that won him $10 million. He spent a lot of it on luxuries and gifts but did try to invest in his own lumber business. Unfortunately, his business lost money because of low sales. Muswagon was surrounded by hangers-on who were only interested in his money and never got the guidance that he needed about how to handle such a large sum. He continued to have problems with the police, and things got worse when his wife died suddenly in 2002. Muswagon hanged himself in his parent’s garage.

3. Viv ‘Spend Spend Spend’ Nicholson Wikipedia promptly identifies Vivian “Viv” Nicholson as ‘a British woman who became famous when she told the media that she would “spend, spend, spend” after her husband Keith won £152,319 on the football pools in 1961.’ Before online gambling, many people in Britain would wager small amounts on the results of soccer matches through a system called “football pools.” These listed the games to be played on the following Saturday, and you could win a lot of money if you could forecast eight score draws. Viv Nicholson had grown up in poverty. She was pregnant at sixteen and had four children when her second husband, Keith, won the pools in 1961. The prize was over £152,000—over 3 million today. When asked what they would do with their winnings, the couple famously answered, “Spend, spend, spend.” And they did. They spent everything. Keith died in a car accident in 1965, and creditors declared Viv bankrupt. She later said that she had had no idea what to do with so much money and that her win had alienated her from her friends, family, and background

4. David Lee- Edwards; Sky High to Rock Bottom We can’t know what would have happened if Edwards had won just enough money to turn his life around, but he won a lot. David Lee Edwards was a connected armed robber who had spent one-third of his 46 years in prison. Broke and unemployed, he borrowed some cash from a friend to pay a utility bill. Unfortunately, Edwards had some change left over that he spent on a pizza and a couple of lottery tickets. He won $27 million. At a press conference, Edwards swore that he would turn his life around and look after his daughter. Yet, he immediately began spending money left and right. His mansion in Florida was full of expensive gadgets, and his body was full of expensive drugs. Edwards supported his and wife’s increasing dependence on drugs. He also paid for his friend’s drugs and funerals if they overdosed. Edwards did spoil his daughter, but by 2006, he and his wife were living in a storage unit surrounded by drug paraphernalia and their own body waste. Mrs. Edwards left him; he died penniless in a hospice in Kentucky. He was 58.

Let Everything That Has Breath Praise The LORD. Praise GOD The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, and HE adds no sorrow with it- Prov.10;22 Everything in life requires the wisdom of GOD for optimal performance. Quite simple, some people don’t know how to handle money, and having a lot of money can be a recipe for disaster. While their money management blues could be because of ineptitude or poor financial foundation, the common denominator is that these wealthy people would have been better off with less. Here are some people who should never have become rich https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/5-people-who-couldnt-handle-being-rich/ 5. Elke Batista’s Fall from Grace At the beginning of 2012, Elke Batista was the seventh wealthiest person in the world. Unfortunately, he didn’t last long in the world’s top ten. By the summer of 2013, his wealth stood at $200 million and, a year later, had fallen to minus $1 billion. There were various reasons for this dramatic drop, but not all of them were Batista’s fault. A general downturn in the precious metals industry, underperforming assets, and poor decisions played a part. But the biggest fall from grace may be that Batista is facing 30 years in jail for bribing the governor of Rio de Janeiro.

By Don Pedro Obaseki https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/a-chatham-house-of-horror/ Chatham House, while trying to repackage and market Bola Ahmed Tinubu, ended up de-marketing itself. While trying, albeit strenuously, to rebrand Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Chatham House ended up eroding its own brand personae. Its brand equity went bearish like a bad stock cascading down the index on a bad day on the FTSE or the New York Stock Exchange. Tinubu’s handlers not only rubbished Chatham House, but also ridiculed the Nigeria nation and her peoples before the global community. At best, Tinubu’s Chatham House odyssey was a PR disaster! His legendary gaffes got amplified before a global audience who either watched the horrid display of Tinubu on Television or via LIVE streaming on the internet. Tinubu’s infamous, yet half-expected comedy of errors turned an otherwise revered platform into a “Chatham House of Horror” or (to bring the adjective nearer home), it was the “Chatham House of Commotion”. One good thing though; while millions of Nigerians awaited another “bullaba blablabloo” verbal misadventure, the APC’s flag bearer (who is now more like a “flag stainer”) added more “words” (if you can call his trademark ramblings and incoherent, inchoate verbal defecations “words”) to an already swelling lexicon. Some of the new words were so incoherent that they cannot even be written down. Tinubu on the Chatham house stage was like a caged pigeon that has been slammed by a pick axe. Was there a physician close by? Nobody needed an MRI scan to diagnose a man suffering from acute dementia. This is no exaggeration. Tinubu has consistently and persistently displayed signs of Amnesia, and Dementia: maybe a case of a progressively deteriorating Alzheimer’s (a degenerative brain disease that causes dementia). As defined by medical experts, Dementia often includes memory loss. It also often involves problems with thinking that leads to a decline in daily functioning. These problems include having trouble with language, judgment and visual-spatial skills. All these have been displayed in no little measure by Tinubu, day in and week out! A few friends sat in my living room to watch yet another episode in Tinubu’s unedifying soap opera series. A handful of those who watched with me fell into fits of hard-to-control laughter each time Tinubu hits a new chord in his rhythm of mental and verbal misadventure. It was like watching a badly scripted “B”-rated movie or a sad melodrama. From all indications, Tinubu will compete well for comic ratings with Mr. Bean! “Na Tinubu be dis? Jesu! Make dem save this man from himself na, I beg”, a friend quipped close by. As the audience jeered, and laughed, I could not join the laughter. I could barely watch the sad melancholic display of a man who, like ‘Elesin Oba’ in Wole Soyinka’s classic “Death and the King’s Horseman” , was too far gone in his hubristic decline. I watched a man who, in his self-effacing “emi lokan”, is now a husk. His aged shell is now a sad reminder of a man who once rode princely on a king’s horse. Sadly today, Tinubu now holds tenaciously to the horse’s tail, covered in the stench and smell of the horse’s faeces. Also; 5 people who couldn't handle being rich https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/5-people-who-couldnt-handle-being-rich/ While their money management blues could be because of ineptitude or poor financial foundation, the common denominator is that these wealthy people would have been better off with less At the Chatham House of Commotion, the APC candidate repeatedly punted himself. He was the butt of his own comic satire. The Guest Speaker morphed into the Moderator, albeit to the embarrassing chagrin of a global audience. When Tinubu wasn’t parrying questions, he was delegating the task of answering them to subordinates and minions who are NOT on the presidential ballot! The Mephistophelean bunch of El Rufai, Dele Alake, Kayode Fayemi and their co-journeymen suddenly became presidential candidates by Tinubu’s singular substitution! And when he deferred to answer himself, he had to read his answers (including his date of birth) from hurriedly scribbled notes which were handed to him by another subordinate. All in the full glare of a global audience! What excuse do APC’s litany of propagandists and spinners have to explain away the actions of a man who had to read his own Date of Birth from a slip of paper handed to him! Such was Tinubu’s. Age is not a crime. To age and grow old is the last curve on life’s graph. We all, if God grants, shall grow old. Unfortunately, the All Progressives Congress (APC) are not a God-fearing bunch. With Tinubu, APC mocks God daily on the campaign trail. In Tinubu, APC challenges God. Daily, and agonizingly, APC brandishes the limitations that age forces on us all. They continue to “package” an octogenarian whose mental state and physical wellbeing are in obvious decline; whose gaffes and vituperations have become comic relief in a nation many have declared a failed state. They window-dress and wall-paper his thwacks as the messianic vituperations of a saviour. This is the worst disservice APC can mete out on a hapless fragile old man. Tinubu’s body is gone, his mental acuity eroded daily, wracked and ravaged by acute dementia. Osun monarch attacked inside palace https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/osun-monarch-attacked-by-hoodlums-inside-palace/ He identified a traditional ruler in the area as the brain behind his travail, recalling that his predicament started shortly after he ascended the throne. For how long shall the APC dwell in its throes of monumental deceit? For how long shall the men (and Women) of the APC lie to Nigerians? As the Bible admonishes “Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord” (Proverbs 12:22). God may forgive Tinubu, but God may never forgive Tinubu’s handlers, his battalion of cronies and army of liars. The Chatham House scam highlights in no little measure one incontrovertible fact: Bola Ahmed Tinubu is not fit to occupy the exalted office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. As clearly stated in our Constitution, we cannot elect anyone adjudged… “or otherwise declared to be of unsound mind”. Evidentially, Tinubu has consistently displayed this unfortunate condition. If Buhari was bad, Tinubu is worse. To borrow the viral parlance on social media, “Tinubu is Buhari Pro Max”! The February 2023 Presidential Elections will be a watershed moment for Nigeria and her peoples. For on that day, Nigerians shall, in a universal shout, confine the APC to the dung-heap of our collective yesterday. May GOD help Nigeria and her people. Obaseki, Director, Research, Strategy and Documentation (PDP Presidential Campaign Council), writes from Benin.

LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE GOD https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/the-rise-of-emikanology-olabanji-oba/ THE RISE OF EMILOKANOLOGY: OLABANJI-OBA, A.D.A.M MOVEMENT SET TO HOSTS 2500-STRONG POLITICAL SUMMIT CUM INTER-RELIGIOUS PRAYER CONFERENCE FOR TINUBU/SHETTIMA, SANWO-OLU/HAMZAT By Oki Samson Do you remember Awoism? Well, if you did not witness the politics of Nigeria’s independence days and you are not a student of Nigerian history, you might not know the political ideology named Awoism. Nigeria Police holds PR Conference in Ibadan https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/nigeria-police-holds-pr-conference-in-ibadan/ Strengthening Strategic Communication Towards Police Reforms, Security and Integrity of 2023 Election Awoism as a concept was coined by avid followers of the late Chief Obafemi Jeremiah Awolowo, the famed political leader of Western region. The term was coined as a representation of Baba Awo’s wide-range, progressive political and socio-economic policies which transformed first-republic Western region into a globally-celebrated region in Nigeria. The followers, called Awoists, extolled and practised this principle till their last breath. Today, the same is being said about Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. And it is gathering momentum as fast as it can. Terms like Emilokanology among others like Jagabanism, BATified are taking deep roots in the hearts of today’s young generation, especially as Nigeria matches towards the 2023 presidential elections. Zamfara Police records another breakthrough https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/zamfara-police-command-records-another-breakthrough/ The Police operatives mobilized to the locations and engaged the bandits to serious gun battle that lasted for hours. Luckily enough, the bandits were repelled by the superior fire power of the Police operatives It is all about teaching and sensitizing the youths on the need for political participation. It is also to instill in the youths the value of patriotic contributions to the development of Nigeria. Emilokanology, as propounded by the Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement (ADAM) led by Aarebinrin Hon. Dr. Folashade Olabanji-Oba, is a political ideology aimed at inspiring greatness in the Nigeria citizenry across the length and breadth of the country, Trek Africa Newspaper can reports. The Asiwaju proponents widely assert that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu deserves to be studied by academic intellectuals and political juggernauts in our ranking tertiary institutions. Also, it aims to drum support for the presidential flagbearers of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Sen. Kashim Shettima. New cash policy; no need to fear https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/new-cash-policy-buhari-charges-emefiele-no-need-to-fear-no-need-to-bother-about-anybody/ We cannot continue to allow a situation where over 85 per cent of the cash that is in circulation is outside the bank Further, they are pushing the 2nd tenure agenda of Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr. Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat in the Lagos State. Also on the table are the senatorial candidacy of Sen. Adetokunbo Abiru for Lagos East Senatorial District; the return of Hon. Babajimi Benson to the Federal House of Representatives representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Hon. Gbolahan Ogunleye and Hon. Moshood Aro in LSHA Ikorodu constituency 1 and 2 respectively as well as mobilizing for other All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates in the 36 states and FCT. This is what Asiwaju desires. The more progressive-minded people are close to power, the better for Nigeria. That is the concept of Emilokanology! In the immediate, Aarebinrin Hon. Dr. Folashade Olabanji-Oba(Founder/ DG) at Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement (ADAM) are holding a summit which will converge over 2500 persons on Wednesday, 14th December, 2022 at the Ten Degrees Event Center, Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos by 11.00am. It will not just be a political summit alone, it will double as an inter-religious, interdenominational prayers and praise conference. There will be health talks and Free eye tests with free glasses ( Gigi Bola) The National Chairman, Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria (ALGOVC) and Executive Vice-Chairman of Ikorodu LGA, Aarebinrin Hon. Dr Olabanji-Oba believes that Nigerians must fire from all cylinders – by voting, by watching, by praying - to ensure that Tinubu/Shettima emerge and retain the Aso rock seat for the enjoyment of all and sundry. She affirms the need for compatriots to also withstand any plan to cause mayhem before, during, and after elections. Speaking on the Emilokanology political ideology in her brief chat with Oki Samson of Trek Africa Newspaper, Olabanji-Oba remarked: ‘Asiwaju is a leader of leaders, life transformer, and his capacity, capability, antecedent and all summed up in that one word ‘Emilokan’. IGP throws weight behind violence against women https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/igp-throws-weight-behind-violence-against-women/ The Inspector-General of Police on his part assured the Honourable Minister and her team of his commitment to sustaining the fight against perpetrators of gender-based violence Asiwaju is a leader who is not intimidated by raising another person. You can see so many persons that have grown through him. For some of us who are his mentees, we know that there is so much to be done. So everyday is to get more converts not just because of now but even beyond 2023 that our mindsets and prerogatives have to be Nigeria first not any self-interest because that is what Asiwaju is all about. Paternity scandal rocks Governor Sanwo-Olu https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/paternity-scandal-rocks-governor-sanwo-olu-as-man-demands-dna-test/ From now till the next adjourned date which is January 17th, let’s see whether morally his conscience can be appealed to or bring himself forward for a DNA text with Emmanuel On so many occasions, he has stepped down his own ambition to project a larger image, to see a bigger picture. So if we all can have that attitude and believe in this great entity called Nigeria. I am too sure that Nigeria will be among the greatest on the face of the earth. We got all that it takes.’ On the plan for the summit, Folashade Olabanji-Oba who is also the National Director of APC Professional Council ( Contacts and Mobilisation), Project 774 For Tinubu/ Shetima (National Director of Women) , National Organising Secretary for COSGABAT and National PRO for Women for SWAGA shared: ‘We will have our leaders, women, and youths that have been touched by the ideology - ideas rule the world. If you can’t conceive it, you can’t achieve it - to talk about issues and wake up the gentle giant within us and say the time is now that we all must collaborate. The INEC would also be around to talk about what to do before, during, and after the elections, and how to make sure we have a peaceful transition. We must all understand that the peace of the land is very important. We will also be talking security.’ ‘The unseen controls the seen. This time, we have to rise up and pray for the peace of the land so that we can all benefit from it. We are raising 774 prayer warriors for the 774 local governments to continuously pray for this peaceful transition is a necessity. To also pray for the wherewithal to be able to sail us through, His grace is more than sufficient. Nothing must divide us’, Olabanji-Oba concluded on the need for inter-religious prayers. House of Reps orders CBN to suspend new cash limit https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/house-of-reps-orders-cbn-to-suspend-new-cash-withdrawal-limit/ Sponsor of the motion, Magaji Da’u Aliyu, said the new policy by the CBN, which limits daily cash withdrawal to N20,000 daily should not be allowed to stand as it will adversely affect the Nigerian people, especially those running small-scale businesses. The acid test is less than 80 days away. The 2023 election is in focus. Aarebinrin Hon. Dr. Folashade Olabanji-Oba is bustling with optimism. The A.D.A.M political movement is rearing to go. The partners, Project 774 and Grassroot Care Initiative are also moving swiftly. Success on the Emilokanology Agenda is imminent!

Let Everything That Has Breath Praise The LORD. Praise GOD https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/joy-gifts-in-lagos-traffic-as-csp-titilayo-oluwasanmi-motivates-police-officers/ JOY, GIFTS IN LAGOS TRAFFIC AS CSP TITILAYO OLUWASANMI MOTIVATES POLICE OFFICERS By Oki Samson She wakes first and sleeps last in her bid to ensure that there is free flow of traffic in Lagos State. She lives on the mainland but before 6am, you can hear her voice in Ajah on the Island, Trek Africa Newspaper can confirm. That’s the indefatigable CSP Titilayo Oriyomi Oluwasanmi, the O/C Motor Traffic Division, Lagos State Command. Policeman arrested, detained over murder https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/policeman-arrested-detained-over-murder-as-command-commence-investigation/ Like her, the traffic officers in the Nigeria Police, Lagos Command are also up and running as early as possible everyday. This is because traffic in cosmopolitan Lagos can be hectic. Managing the intense traffic, especially in the peak hours of mornings and evenings, cannot be for the lily-livered. Thus, the O/C MotoPol in Lagos understands where the shoe pinches. That is why she went the extra mile days ago, in her small way, to appreciate police traffic officers who stand under the sun and in the rain to maintain Lagos traffic. Trek Africa Newspaper can report that CSP Oluwasanmi paid unscheduled visits to the traffic officers across Lagos bus-stops and parks. NJC reinstates Justice Ofili Ajumogobia https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/njc-reinstates-justice-ofili-ajumogobia/ During the visit, CSP Oluwasanmi had brief chat with the officers as well as encouraged them. Also, she gifted them packaged items to also boost their morale. The traffic officers could not hide their joy at this kind gesture by their leader. Not only them, passers-by, motorists, and other road users hailed this move by the O/C Motor Traffic as a right step in the right direction. They told Trek Africa Newspaper that the O/C’s move will provide needed tonic to police officers and men who sweat on the roads on a daily basis. DBanj arrested, detained over fraud https://www.scrollreport.com/2022/12/dbanj-arrested-and-detained-over-n-power-fraud/ This fantastic move by the O/C MotoPol in Lagos further emphasizes the positive signals that the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba is showing to officers under his watch with his many staff welfare, trainings and motivation programmes. It also reiterates the leadership by empathy and example of the Lagos Commissioner of Police, CP Sylvester Abiodun Alabi.
