What kind of cowardly judge and judiciary do we have? Some people said the case lacked merit, how come the court is afraid of making judgement and APC keeps bringing in delay tactics? It shows that those who sued Buhari actually have a serious case |

Ayus34: what u must understand is that the lekki toll gate is still reasonable, coz this where most reach people reside and they ve the money to pay....even warren Buffett said America should tax the rich to build d economy during 2008 global crisis, unlike the onitsha bridge where Nigerian masses are the one plying d route and how many Nigeria politicians use d road nowadays?so let them increase the tax on their luxuries and use it to build d bridge. .... the 20billion USD can build over 1000 of that bridge....they should account for d money! The first bridge is still there and will remain so, people can pass through it for free, those who want to use the new one can pay the toll if at all it will be tolled. Besides how much do you think the toll will be. |

olapluto: Voter turnout for presidential election in SE will be low. The SE has no stake in the presidential elections. No candidate of note, no VP, so why bother? The South east is firmly behind Jonathan, that is enough reason to bother. They didn't struggle to get almost 90% PVC collection rate just to keep the cards at home. SW will have the lowest turnout as usual, they already have the lowest PVC collection rate and that is a pointer. |
Politics › Re: INEC Releases Statistics Of PVC Collected In All 36 States And FCT by sCun: 2:36pm On Mar 24, 2015 |
PVC collection rate. 1st North west 91% 2nd South east and North east 86% 3rd South South 83% 4th North Central 88% LAST South west 66% |

Politics › Re: INEC Releases Statistics Of PVC Collected In All 36 States And FCT by sCun: 2:26pm On Mar 24, 2015 |
olapluto: A lot of people will be surprised by the turnout figures. I also think there will be an inversion. MOre voters will turn out in the NW, and SW than the SE. But southwest has the lowest PVC collection rate while SE has the joint second highest PVC collection rate. The collection rate should be a pointer to what the turnout rate will be, South west has the lowest |

LRNZH: Please do not mix up things here.
A state government bridge is not the same as a federal government bridge. Lekki-Ikoyi suspension link bridge is wholly state sponsored and the first of its kind in Nigeria. That's is Lagos State issue.
Under GEJ, the 2nd Niger Bridge will be the only tolled FG bridge in Nigeria. What have the Ndi-Igbo done to deserve this injustice? Let GEJ/PDP build one toll bridge each geopolitical zone to be fair.
cc: Lalasticlala, Ishilove, Maclatunji, Obinoscopy, OAM4J Lekki is the ONLY tolled bridge in the whole of Nigeria at the moment, state or Federal, and it is in an APC state. |

LRNZH: And build a world class bridge that is toll free before the end of 2018. Abi you no read this part? Story story, that was how the Lagos metroline project was revoked and a huge fine big enough to complete the project paid. Do you know what it will cost to revoke that contract from Julius Berger? Where in the contract states that toll will be paid? Nonsense |

bushdoc9919: Well, first.....you can do better than calling me names.
Second....I doubt the court would exclude Buhari just like that....this ruling is just to find out if they can exclude him while they decide the case...which they need not do.
It is only when the case has been decided...that a decision can be made on banning and unbanning.
Anyway...it is too close to the election. They should have decided this months ago...and INEC should have sorted this months ago. Typical fire brigade Nigerian approach.
Once again, your insult was very childish and reprehensible. You are too good to resort to name calling. I detest hypocrisy with everything in me. How can you in one post be asking that the courts let sleeping dogs lie by not disqualifying Buhari (obviously because of threats of violence from northerners) and in the next post be chiding a guy for suggesting their will be violence in the creeks if Buhari is voted in? |
