Hello Seahawk, lovely thread. thank you for this tutorial...self explanatory... I copied and pasted the pictures and instructions into Microsoft word and printed it as a document.

meanwhile, I want to try this soon, but I don't have a scale. how can I improvise? any idea? Thanks in advance.
if you don’t have a scale, you can use cups. It’s usually about 4 parts butter to one part flour. I.e of you use one cup flour, then use 1/4 cup butter. Will give you same consistency

Alpha male indeed.

Alpha males that will still be collecting money from their women.

Some of them are only alpha males on nairaland. In their homes, they are sissy males. Roaring lions on NL and ants at home.

It’s ready when it’s brown all over and a knife inserted into the center of it comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and allow to cool totally before slicing.

Now we are done with our wet ingredients.

Moving onto the dry ingredients.

Add in the flour, baking powder and chocolate chip and stir until incorporated. Remember don’t stir too hard. When it’s a mixed and your batter is of a pourable consistency, grease a bread pan with oil, butter or cooking spray and pour the batter into it.

Heat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and put it in the oven for about one hour.

FoodRe: Easy Home-made Chocolate Chip Banana Bread by Seahawk(op): 7:13pm On Mar 27, 2018
Add the milk into the mixture and stir until incorporated. Then Add your whisked eggs into your mixture and fold in gently. Don’t stir too hard so as not to lose the air bubbles you whisked into the egg.

Now it’s time to whisk the egg whites.
This is the part that accounts for the fluffiness of the bread.
Whisking by hand will also work but it will take some energy. Nothing bad there since it helps tone your upper arms anyway grin

But if you are whisking with a mixer, notice the difference in the attachment used for mixing the butter cream mixer versus the one used for whisking the egg.

Now whisk away until it’s all frothy and white like in the picture below. It’s ready when it peaks as you pull the whisk out of it.

Mash your ripe banana in a smaller plate and add the vanilla into it. Mix both and then add to your big bowl.

You can see the changes to the mixture as we keep going

Next. Break your eggs carefully and separate the whites from the yolk. This is not a requirement but I find it helps me make very fluffy and soft banana bread.
Add the yolk on the butter/sugar cream and mix until all blended.

Hi I’m coco’s assistant. Sharing her banana bread recipe from coco’s kitchen wink.

Banana bread is a favorite in our home because it makes for easy breakfast on days when we are in a hurry. It’s also a perfect way to get rid of old bananas that we consider mushy or overripe for eating. In fact the darker the skin gets, the better the flavor is in the bread.

You will need.

1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose or bread flour.
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup liquid milk
1 teaspoonful vanilla flavor
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
3 eggs
1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips.

Start by mixing the butter and sugar until it’s light yellow and creamy. This takes some time and energy if done by hand. But it’s totally doable. I used a hand mixer to make my life easier. But I did it by hand for the longest time before I decided to get a mixer. So don’t be discouraged if you don’t have a mixer
