Afenifere ko Afenifebi ni. Who send them?
Afenifere is a dead organization. What remains is a carcass of a corruption ridden organization that have outlive its usefulness. They can go and hug transformer.
Yoruba people are not interested in any Position that will not attract commensurate development, progress and success to the ambitions of Real People of South West. Awon agbaya radarada. What was the effect of dimeji as a former speaker on south west?
What was the effect of obj as a former president on south west?
We are not interested.
Even the south south with its presidency slot is nowhere near the south west. To hell with federal position.

redsun: Na wa oo for nigeria. It is like a nazi contentration camp. And to top it all, governors and senators dine with murderous terrorists, yet they deliberate over nigerian affairs. Senators tape bribes on tapes and still retain their jobs.

What is going on?
You know hypocrisy runs in the blood of Jonathan. This man to the best of my knowledge don't even know anything about the Independence bomb blast.
The bomb blast which Boko haram has claimed responsibility for is now the one another man who goes about his normal life is suffering for.
The senator who was said to be financing boko haram was allowed to go on pilgrimage outside the country, yet somebody is denied the chance of worshipping 50 metres aways from his cell.
I can not stop laughing at this country. It is a real bull sh.i.t.

ndu_chucks: The usual suspects and sycophants have resorted to attacking the messenger rather than the message. If people like eko_ile are bright enough, they'd make counter points to support their positions, but we all know that they are not capable of doing such intelligent acts.
Using an unconfirmed issue to condemn set of governors that YOUR POVERTY INFESTED NORTH is begging to have half their types is Nonsense.

PoliticsRe: Dumb Tribal Bigots Making A Fool Of Themselves by seanet01: 1:34pm On Dec 09, 2012
joeyfire: Typical yoruba blowing hot air about what he knows little or nothing. Read a little about the horrors your british gods went through at theer hands of our warriors.

https://www.nairaland.com/1086185/ekumeku-resistance-1897-1914

Because we didn't have despots ruling us the british found it impossible to bribe their way into our land and they never forgave us for the blood that was shed.
The same leaders of yours that are CANNIBALS? You are a joke

PoliticsRe: ACN Governors Creating Enabling Environment For Investors? by seanet01: 1:28pm On Dec 09, 2012
Maxymilliano: Op, why are you trying to be mischievous with your post? The crux of the article was on the general business climate in the country, which is anything but healthy for local manufacturers.

The tragic experience narrated by the columnist as a reference was just to buttress the point on how industries are been killed softly and steadily by unfavourable government policies both at State and Federal level.

If you are indeed sincere enough as your moniker suggests, you should have posted the remaining part of the article where details of Federal Government Free Trade decision on imported cement is affecting indigenous companies like Dangote Cement.

For people that don't know, Benue Cement Company was shut recently by the owner (Dangote group) as a result of influx of subsidized cement into the country or 'glut' as the economist will say. Nigeria is a signatory to the Free Trade agreement, and this allows all sort of goods to be imported into the country, thereby killing the local industry softly.

Free Trade is one of the terms of the World Trade Organization (WTO), and Nigeria is bind by the agreements willy-nilly.

This was the crux of the main write up by Simeon Kolawole and this is what any reasonable person should ponder upon instead of trying to drive a political nail into such thought provoking article.

Like Simeon Kolawole said, "we hurt ourselves when we come up with policies that may be rewarding politically but damaging economically. In the long run, we suffer the consequences. We remain stuck in under development".

Ponder on this bro and do away with your myopia.
Na so we see am o.
PoliticsRe: Politics Section Poster Of The Year 2012 - Katz, Gbawe & Naptu are finalists by seanet01: 1:24pm On Dec 09, 2012
PointB: It's a sordid tale. I am especially amazed that Gbawe manage to escape banned this year despite his unadulterated hate against Desola and co whereas others were banned for frivilous reason. Till date I dont know what exactly I was banned for by both Jarus and Mukina. I guess it was to pave way for Gbawe and his Yoruba folk for this award.

Nevertheless disqualify you (Afam) certainly blew the lid in their faces. It's sad day in Nairaland today! Ethnic bigotry has been elevated to official level - Jarus is the poster boy!
See frustration. You can not sow thorn and reap Orange, can you?

Ngodigha: The authorities here wants to ensure that politics section remains exclusively for yorubas.
2009, it was given to Becomerich a yoruba instead of Mikeansy a non yoruba.
2010-Eku-bear-a yoruba deservadly won.
2011, beaf the best poster that year disqualified because of his kicks against a yoruba party.
2012- Afam the best poster and most popular poster in the politics section this year about to be disqualified or disqualified.
Nairaland is dead with this latest move, watch out.
You can migrate to biafraland. Mu he he
