TO:SeanT21:

I like your point, it sounds smart. A man needs to be tough to be able to be the man in the house. You can't have two captains in a ship. A woman suppose to be gentle, respectful, humble not too tough that one may wonder who is the man in the house. If you have watched the show "Everybody Love Raymond" is obvious who the man in the house is. So the point is women need to know and play their roles as a woman not compete with the man.

FoodRe: Best Way To Prepare A Jollof Rice: How? by SeanT21(f): 6:23am On May 08, 2009
Hmm,DELICIOUS!! wink

Jollof rice probably originated from rice dishes eaten by the Wolof people of Senegal and Gambia, but its popularity has spread to most of West Africa, especially Nigeria and Ghana. Based on rice, tomatoes and usually meat or fish, it is believed by some to be the origin of Cajun jambalaya. The Gambian version is called benachin. Also spelled jolof or djolof rice.

4-6 servings
Oil -- 1/4 cup
Chicken, cut into pieces -- 1 1/2 pounds
Water or stock -- 5 cups
Onions, chopped -- 2
Red or green bell pepper, chopped -- 1
Garlic, minced -- 3-4 cloves
Rice -- 3 cups
Tomato paste -- 1/4 cups
Tomatoes, chopped -- 2 cups
Carrots, peeled and chopped -- 2
Green beans -- 1 cup
Cabbage, chopped -- 1 cup
Salt and pepper to taste

Method
Heat the oil over medium-high flame in a large pot. Working in batches, add the chicken and brown on all sides. Remove the chicken to another large pot and add the water or stock. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
While the chicken simmers, pour all but 2-3 tablespoons of oil out of the first pot. Heat the oil over medium flame, add the onions and peppers and sauté until the onions are wilted and translucent, 4-5 minutes. Add the garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes.
Stir the rice into the onions and peppers and heat through for another 1-2 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste to coat the rice and give it a reddish hue. Add the chopped tomatoes and let them cook down for 2-3 minutes.
Pour in the chicken and its simmering liquid into the rice pot and add the carrots, green beans and cabbage. Season well with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover tightly and simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove from heat, let rest another 10 minutes. Remove to a serving platter and serve with dodo, sliced hard-boiled eggs and a side salad.
Variations
There are many variations of jollof rice. Feel free to improvise using what you meats and vegetables you have on hand. Try beef, ham, shrimp, fish, goat or pork. For vegetables, add peas, potatoes, eggplant or mushrooms
Beef Jollof Rice: substitute cubed stewing beef for the chicken. After browning the beef, simmer in liquid for 45 minutes before adding to the sautéed rice mixture.
Vegetarian Jollof Rice: simply eliminate the meat and stir hot water or vegetable stock into the sautéed rice mixture.
Optional spices that can be used to flavor the dish are cinnamon, curry powder or cayenne. Some minced chile peppers can be sautéed with the onions to add extra bite.

The question is why are black american women difficult not how can we defend black american women attitude, arrogance and lack of good woman roles. All I have been reading so far is defensiveness, some even claim black american women are not difficult. One of the problems black people have is the problem of accepting a problem and figuring out how to solve it. If you can't accept a fact then you are prety much going around the circle.
[color=Black]It all depends on which kind of AA female U are dating. My uncles are all married 2 AA and they are nothing like U explain. U need to take a look at yourself because U seem to attract the wrong kind of females. Who knows maybe U are as difficult, arrogant and defensive as the woman U meet. Frankly speaking,LIKES ATTRACT.

Foreign AffairsNigerian Doctor Accused Of Killing Two Patients In Uk by SeanT21(op): 9:46pm On May 07, 2009
A Nigerian-born German doctor, Daniel Ubani, has been accused of killing two patients in one day in the United Kingdom.

The deaths may have been three but for the lucky escape of 59-year-old Sandra Banks, who said she was left in agony for two hours after Ubani treated her for an inflammatory problem normally dealt with by a painkiller. She said Ubani gave her a weak dose of a diuretic instead, which lowers blood pressure.

The UK Daily Mail newspaper reports that Ubani, who has been a GP in Germany for 22 years, killed 70-year-old kidney patient David Gray on February 16, 2008 by injecting him with 10 times the maximum recommended dose of morphine.

Also, the newspaper said it learnt that, hours later, an 86-year-old woman died of a heart attack after being given medication by the Nigerian-born doctor.

Ubani was working his first-ever shift in Britain as a locum after travelling from Germany to improve his "earning capabilities."

The report said Ubani arrived at his hotel at 4a.m. that day, had three hours sleep and started work at 8a.m.

According to the newspaper, on his first day at work work, Ubani was called to the Cambridgeshire village of Manea where Gray, a former senior technical manager with British Aerospace, was suffering from acute kidney pain. Instead of administering the painkiller pethidine, Ubani injected him with the massive overdose of morphine after confusing the two drugs, owing to tiredness.
Gray was initially thought to be sleeping but was pronounced dead within three hours.

Toxicology tests suggested he could have died within 10 minutes of the injection. The paper said an inquest was yet to be held.

Ubani, who specialises in cosmetic surgery and anti-ageing medicine, has since admitted that he administered the overdose of morphine because "he could not understand the patient."

In the aftermath of the tragedy, the paper reports, Gray's devastated family learned from police that officers had investigated the death of a second patient Iris Edwards, after Ubani was called to a care home in Ely the same day.

The paper, which also published an apology letter from Ubani to Gray's family, said the 86-year-old woman reportedly died two hours after the doctor treated her.

Police investigated both cases and handed files to the UK Crown Prosecution Service, which recommended a manslaughter charge over the death of Gray but decided against further action over the second death.

In March, the CPS issued a European Arrest Warrant to bring Ubani back to the UK to charge him with manslaughter. But two weeks later, British prosecutors were told legal action against the doctor had been started in Germany.

The paper said Ubani had already admitted to Gray's manslaughter before a German court and received a suspended sentence, meaning he cannot be tried again under the double jeopardy rule.

The Daily Mail said the two deaths had exposed glaring flaws in the UK's out-of-hours care system, which relies on foreign doctors commuting into Britain to earn £150 an hour on evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
