Music/Radio / Re: Remembering The Life And Times Of Whitney Houston(Pictures & Video) by ThierryJay: 8:43pm On Jun 03

No disrespect to those you mentioned. They are all still below Whitney's level and aura. Have you listened to Whitney at all? If yes you wouldn't be comparing her to Kelly Clarkson (whom I love by the way especially with one of my favorite songs of all time "Breakaway"wink.

There will always be great vocal talents and I've listened to a fair share of them from Jessi J. to Sarah Ikumu, Morissette Amon, Dimash (the guy who can sing up to 7 octaves whistle notes (Mariah can reach only 5 or 6) ).

But if you talk about the total package: Vocal range, pitch, vocal control, vocal strength and power, soulfulness, vocal sweetness, diva-ness, name it, Whitney reigns supreme.

She is the female equivalent of MJ.

Family / Nigerians Are Suffering! by Bisca: 8:43pm On Jun 03
NIGERIANS ARE SUFFERING 😔

I recently had the most depressing haircut not long ago, I happened to be the only young guy in a barbing saloon full of middle aged and a bit elderly men and had close to 30mins of listening to men talk about how they could no longer feed their families. How they had to get dirty to send their children to school.

A man in particular, you could see pain and pride in his face as he told his story. He no longer ate more than once at home unless his children at and had left overs. For him, as long as his children were able to feed, he's okay and I saw a deep painful smile of pride as he said it. Behind that smile you could see tears hidden, the fight to hold tears back.

This is not a joke, this is not a skit, Nigerians are suffering. We are dying, our families are starving and everyone is trying to keep it under wraps.

Some of us are a bit more privileged than most, go out one day, come down from your comfort zone into the streets, men, women, children are in deep hardship and suffering. You'll be depressed if you did this survey. You'll be moved to tears.

You wonder why this NLC strike seems heavy? It's hunger, hardship, pain, tears, death and more. Sadly we are calling out to leaders who don't give a rats ass about us. They'll rather spend on foreign trips and waste than pay you a honest wage. If I keep typing I'll shed tears. I hope NLC does not fold.

This is the worst place to bring this sort of marital issues to (or any marital issues for that matter) . They'll fill your head with negative thoughts and make you doubt your wife's fidelity and it's mostly the chronic singles who have the worst things to say just so you'll be sad like them.
My brother, your wife is in the military and transfers are a hazard of her profession, you'll just have to bear with her since she seems to be enjoying the job but if you have any doubts then talk to her one on one when next she's around but never bring marital matters to social media because many people in the name of cruise and fun will and have brought down many good relationships/marriages

That's the very bitter truth that those who are always quick to say Goodluck Jonathan time was "sweet" this and that will not taste talk less of drinking whereas he remains the worst president Nigeria "shlould" ever had because without his gross incompetence and dullardness we wouldn't have had the choice of electing a Buhari who turned out to be a slowpoke like Goodluck Jonathan himself.

And now here we are having to deal with the calamity of both Goodluck Jonathan and Mohammadu Buhari combined yet children of hate and obi-idiots thinks Tunubu is doing a bad job and a confirmed dullard and liar like Bitter-Peter Obi can do better without proof.

God who defeated every opposition to Tinubu during the election for Nigeria's sake will definitely defeat every opposition being thrown at Tinubu and Nigeria by the oil cartels, money-launders and bitter-hateful obidients who had nothing good to do for Nigerians than religious bigotry and tribal sentiments.
You are smart and knows much about Nigeria's politics. Jonathan and his cabinet really killed Nigeria beyond imagination before leaving office. You have said everything

Romance / Re: As A Married Woman, I'm Tired Of Sleeping With Different Men by DonroxyII: 7:55pm On Jun 03
Philosopher1979:

This is a question for social scientists.
The patraichy and marriage actually evolved to control and curb female sexuality. Also it evolved to create a patriarchal society. I mean if acwoman has sex with 3 men who is the mother of the child.
Actually the human female is very promiscuous and in the ancient past the patraichy evolved things like female circumcision, marriage, social shamming structures etc to curb female sexuality.
Society cannot really survive if women get too liberal with their sexuality.
Our forefathers cannot conquer nations, invent agriculture etc only to father another man's child.
Marriage is needed to keep society in harmony and so female sexuneeds to be curbed.
Ancient men realised this but in modern society we think we are wiser.
Also, most of themes sexual liberalists views are somewhat rooted in atheism. If you are not an atheist you will realize that Marrwas invented by God.
We talk about all this in the nairaland redpill movement which people croticize

Malachi 10:10 is not a valid reference in the Bible. The book of Malachi only has 4 chapters, and there is no chapter 10. The correct references for the book of Malachi are Malachi 1-4.

However, it’s possible that you meant to talk about Malachi 3:10, which is a well-known verse that says:
