Foreign Affairs / Iran Exposed Itself As A Mediocre Third World Power by Odibembem: 5:43pm On May 20 |
The events of the last 24 hours has exposed Iran as a mediocre third world country still at the rudimentary level of security intelligence, national security, military capabilities and technology. Over the years, the Islamic Republic and it's cheer leaders have portrayed Iran as an emergent global power able to take down the major powers. They had boasted that their military capacity was top notch and that they would deal with Israel ruthlessly whenever they deem fit. Their enrichment of uranium almost to nuclear warhead capacity was tainted as evidence that they had arrived and that Israel or even d US would never directly dare them. We tried to explain to the Iranian cheerleaders that d Islamic Republic has never successfully prosecuted any war save their stalemate with Iraq that ended in d late 80s and their arming rebels and terrorists around their region is not evidence of capacity. We explained to them that d ease with which Israel took out their nuclear scientists and head of their revolutionary guards showed they were no match for d global powers not to talk of d pin point elimination of Soleimani by d US and inability of Iran to retaliate decisively. So last month, when they finally shot missiles and drones that took upwards of 6 hours to reach Israel passing thru d airspace of other countries, 99% of them intercepted, Iran and their cheerleaders celebrated like they just won d world cup. Israel having been pressured by d US chose to reply symbolically and many didn't even get d significance, d missiles Israel shot at Iran were shot from deep around or within Iranian territory meaning that Israel could breach their territory without d consent or airspace of d neighbors. Then d disaster of May 19. Helicopter crashes are common, that was not d issue. Below are 1. Iran still uses a US made helicopter manufactured over 50 years ago. Since both countries broke relations since 1979, it means d helicopter must had been bought at d black market and it's parts whenever it needs servicing are bought at d black mkt. So Iran cannot buy helicopters from their so called friends like Russia and China such that they prefer to use a second or third hand helicopter for their president? 2. Iran has not fully mapped their country such that it took upwards of 15hours to locate d debris of the helicopter carrying their president? 3. Iran has no radar or satellite capacity to locate objects within its own territory that she had to call on d EU, Turkey, Russia and d Saudis to help them track their own Presidential helicopter inside their own country? It was ultimately a Turkish drone that located d wreckage according to some reports 4. Iran has not mastered d elements, d weather as it hampered their search for hours. If they were to prosecute a war with Israel or d US in terrible weather conditions, it means they would go completely blind Please let's advise Iran to go and rest. Any war with Israel would be a complete obliteration and we would be hearing cries of genocide and ICJ. They are not in same level. Such a war should never be allowed to happen. The international community should urgently take more seriously d issue of Iran's quest for nuclear weapons. They don't have d capacity and technology to maintain nuclear reactors. The world and that region in particular doesn't need another Chernobyl. If need be force should be used to halt d program and put it to an end. Iran doesnt even have military intelligence or d technology to resist an attack on their nuclear power sites anyway. Iran should be advised to stay at home and stop interfering in Lebanon, Syria and Yemen where they are arming terrorists. The regional ambition they aspire to is not for mediocre third world countries that embarrass themselves before the world by taking over 15hours to locate their Presidential helicopter crash inside their own country and crying yonother countries to come and help them. Let them concentrate on development and be a positive example to the world. A word is enough for d wise. 18 Likes 4 Shares |

nihilistjnr:True. I just found it weird that their convoy what are the odds that the chopper of the most important of the delegates is the one that crashed. It might be coincidental. It might be Agent Eli Copter that had a hand in it Anyway I'm sure all the school girls in Tehran are dancing for joy. Brother I no fit enter helicopter. They're too fragile for me and the chances of survival are almost nil. A40:it was the other day we talked here if some people who has phobia for helicopter 🚁, How many prominent people has died of chopper crash, should we also run a conspiracy of their death without evidence 🧾 People don't seize to amaze me . It was glaring of how the whole place was filled with clouds and fogs, even the rescue and search operation was marred by weather and visibility issues.. The territory this happened is even in an iranain territory.. Any other cause of his death is mere hearsay and conspiracy.. Israel embarking on an assisination mission to off a president of a war mongering nation like Iran is also a suicide mission on the side of Israel because there is a probability of there cover been blown and about escalating yo whole new international confrontation.. If Iran no too strong, they have allies that can stick their head for them.. |

WriteerNg:RIP to the dead because either they like him or not, he was the sitting president of a nation. Iran airforce need to be blamed for this loss because they should have know better that the helicopter can’t operate well in a very bad weather yet the allow their president and FM to use it. And it took them over 5 hrs before they can located them, that’s very bad for Iran image, how can the 2nd most powerful person in your country travel without escorts? At least they should be 4 helicopters following him. Poland is still blaming Russia till days date for the deaths of their president and all the top military officials when their plane crashed in Russia. 2 Likes |

nihilistjnr:Hehehe. I'm not underrating Mossad and the Jewish people's gangster but I just think the Iranian president were more on a suicide mission than anything else. I heard he was favorite to replace Khamenei. I also heard Khamenei son eyeing the job. I'm not saying he had anything to do with this I just find it a bit sus that you would fly a chopper across mountainous regions in bad weather. That's just begging to die if you ask me [Reminder to self to never use a helicopter] |

Vl3ly: They are supposed to wake the pilot up from the grave and beat him for not only not checking the weather but still continued the journey despite the weather. But then also, you know how people, especially religious people can be confident. He might have been told to continue that nothing will happen. That's how my mom convinced me after my refusal to fly Dana Air at the time they suffered crashes and were having troubles with their aircrafts. That's how we entered o and Dana started doing skss skss in the air . I have never seen the magnitude of prayers like I saw that day. Also, this is reportedly a photo posted by one of the guys in the helicopter showing fog ahead. If true, you have to wonder what gave them the confidence to continue.
