Dejini:
Mr Femi was not sentenced but remanded in prison till his case was settled. According to Mr Femi's story, the title of the case says Lagos State versus Mr Femi. Is MFM representing Lagos State or MFM is now Lagos State?

Lawyer, you can attest to the fact that MFM rarely lose their litigation but this one is a shock to everyone. MFM not Lagos State claimed to have all their plans and 8 witnesses but still lost the case. How Sir?

It's okay to Isolate the Olukoya's from this but who is Gbadamosi? What is his history? Shouldn't he be investigated? How did he uncover the plans of these so called "armed robbers"? There is a reason MFM always pray that whatsoever is not planted in MFM should be uprooted. I pray God in heaven answers that prayer speedily!!!

Lawyer if you want to set the record straight, you have to be honest with yourself. How can they lose a case despite having all the evidences and more than 5 witnesses including a commissioner of police as claimed by Mr Femi in his story? It simply means those evidences were not compelling enough and nothing ties the suspect to those evidences aside witness words which the honorable court knows can be manipulated.

I will still reiterate, who is Gbadamosi? What is his relationship with MFM? Let's reference the date Mr Femi claimed he saw him in Ogbomoso with his calendar, who is his alibi?
Where was he(and the answer shouldn't be that he was at home) on that day?

Just imagine when Moses elected elders to help him oversee things with their discretion, should an Israelite come to report one of those elders to Moses directly, I wonder what will happen. Even his own family planned to ursurp him if not for God's intervention. Lawyer, you can defend the Olukoya's but please who is Gbadamosi? Even if his last name is Olukoya, he is not a family of Dr. Daniel Olukoya so who is he? Why are you defending him so hard? Why wasn't he investigated? No stone should be left unturned!!!!

May the Olukoya's (Dr Daniel and his family alone!!!) not be led astray by those regarded
as trusted allies/friends/family members.

Amen to your last paragraph.

From the man's video The Gbadamosi man was the CSO chief security officer of the church as at that time.

It's the same CSO he stated he met at a Babalawos place when he went to negotiate capentry dealings with the babalawos son who was roofing a branch and he begged him not to inform Dr Olukoya about where he saw him because he knows the consequence and now it's the Same man he claims set him up with the robbery matter possibly to silence him.

And On MFMs official side their own was simply a robbery attempt at the offerings of a major programme was foiled and the suspects rounded up and handed over to the police for prosecution which took years. And I think it was the DPP that handled the case.

But naturally even if he was set up by the CSO in order to take him off so he wouldn't snitch about where he saw him, now that the case has ended he's out it's not the CSO that will be dragged it is the church , the church and the G.O that will be dragged like they are being dragged now. And I don't think any organization Church or not won't have handed over such suspects to the police instead of taking laws into their hands.

Pastors always take the fall for wrong doings of their members and the church administration. So people have said a lot, dragged him, cursed him, his wife, family son, a whole lot of explectives. Well it comes with the job as a pastor, People will not and are not ready to isolate Dr Olukoya from the case especially those who have had something against the church.

Maybe, he was set up by CSO as he claimed only God knows the truth about that but if true, that CSO did him too bad just to cover up his own misdeed but then humans can be wicked and go any length to protect their interest.

Our judicial system needs to be worked on though 8years is to long for trial.

SIRTee15:

This is not about monotheism v polytheism. This thread is about associating a graven image with your deity. Can we call it idolatry when we venerate a stone during worship of your god

I never said u pray to the stone. I wrote u Muslims kiss or touch the stone as atonement of sin- this is found in your literature books.
Let me ask u a question, do u believe the Black Stone will come forth on the Day of Resurrection and will testify in favour of those who touched it in truth.

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Abbas said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said concerning the Stone: “By Allah, Allah will bring it forth on the Day of Resurrection, and it will have two eyes with which it will see and a tongue with which it will speak, and it will testify in favour of those who touched it in sincerity.”

Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 961; Ibn Maajah, 2944

Is this not evidence that the black stone has significant spiritual influence and connotation.

Look at this guy, what's my business in what's written in your books. Did I tell u I believe the nonsense? It's your hadiths that said the stone turned from white to black because people were touching it. If u question the absurdity, u should take it up with your muslim scholars and not me.
I don't consider the black stone anything more than a pagan stone that was elevated to spiritual significance by Muhammed for whatever reason. The Black Stone was held in reverence well before Islam and was a site of pilgrimage of Nabataeans who visited the shrine once a year to perform their pilgrimage. The Semitic cultures of the Middle East had a tradition of using unusual stones to mark places of worship, bowing, worshiping and praying to such sacred objects. However the practice is condemned in the Tanakh as idolatrous and was the subject of prophetic rebuke.
The meteorite-origin theory of the Black Stone is derived from similar stories of sacred stones such as the one placed and worshipped in the Greek Temple of Artemis.

Do footballers kiss the world cup trophy when they pray to Allah. Wont the muslim world be enraged if a muslim footballer place the trophy in front of him while doing his daily prayer and start kissing it.
Do footballers kiss the cup with hope of reward in heaven? abeg your comparison makes no sense. Try harder.

hajj is a period dedicated to Allah with intention of drawing close to him. Any act done during this time is considered spiritually significant otherwise u wont do it.

It's interesting that Aisha's age was never an issue amongst both early christians apologetics and muslims scholars.
None of your medevial scholars found it odd that muhammed married a 6 year old despite the Aisha's age of marriage was well known and documented in Islamic literatures. In the Islamic world, the young age of her marriage did not draw any significant discourse apart from associating her young age as affirmation of her virginity and subsequent religious purity. Her age did not interest later Muslim scholars either, and went unremarked-upon even by medieval and early-modern Christian polemicists.
It wasn't until the 19th century when westerners arrogate to themselves superiority moral complex and began to question child marriage, thus putting light on Muhammed's marriage with Aisha that her age became controversial.

So why all of a sudden modern Islamic scholars now have an issue with Aisha's age and are revising her age of marriage by pushing it forward, bringing up all forms of weak evidence when clear statements clearly shows she was a very young child. Is it because they now realised marrying a 6 year old girl is rightfully paedophilia and morally wrong.

Narrated `Aisha:

I used to play with the dolls in the presence of the Prophet, and my girl friends also used to play with me. When Allah's Messenger used to enter (my dwelling place) they used to hide themselves, but the Prophet would call them to join and play with me. (The playing with the dolls and similar images is forbidden, but it was allowed for `Aisha at that time, as she was a little girl, not yet reached the age of puberty.)
Sahih al-Bukhari 6130

What adult woman and her friends play with dolls for heaven's sake
Muslims should learn to call what is evil as evil, Muhammed is no saint!!!

I referenced it as example of how not to follow Muhammed, u are the one that made a molehill out of it.

Drop Aisha's marriage and answer my question. what is the spiritual significance of the black stone. why is it venerated?

Is it untrue that pagans and traditionalists are classified as Polytheists? When they are pouring libation not kissing their idols is this not in their worship?

The stories or reports about sacred stones being placed and worshipped in Greek temples, such as the Temple of Artemis in Ephesus, are not related to the Black Stone’s origins. These stories involve gods and goddesses bestowing stones upon their temples for various reasons.

In Greek mythology, various stones and gems were believed to possess unique powers and attributes.

Emerald was believed to have healing and rejuvenating properties. Aristotle thought that owning emeralds could improve a person’s oratory skills, make them successful litigants, protect against epilepsy, and enable them to predict the future and reveal truths.

The Ancient Greeks considered diamonds to be tears of the gods, while Romans believed they were part of fallen stars. Diamonds were also thought to bring great strength to their wearers.

The Black Stone’s significance comes from its association with Ibrahim and Isma’il and its role as a symbol of unity among Muslims from all over the world who come to perform Hajj or Umrah pilgrimages.

Your Bible in Acts 19:35 states that the the city clerk quieted the crowd and said: “Fellow Ephesians, doesn’t all the world know that the city of Ephesus is the guardian of the temple of the great Artemis and of her image, which fell from heaven? How does Paul or any other differentiate the Gospel from this?

Your reference to modern scholars is because you fail to understand the deliberate acts to correct misunderstanding and misconceptions that are becoming the norm.

You have made statements referring to the black stone granting forgiveness when it is it being part of the pilgrimage process which when done sincerely in worship of Allah grants forgiveness from Allah of sins

Politics / Oriade Constituents Seek Divine Help On Lawmaker Ajibola Poor Performance by Jimsonjaat86: 9:43am On Jun 01
A concerned group, the Oris Solidarity Forum, has announced a three-day fast and intense prayer session for Hon. Kanmi Ajibola, the lawmaker representing the Oriade State Constituency, citing his poor performance in office.

The group, comprised of young people committed to the development of Oriade Local Government Area (LGA), is urging constituents to join the spiritual exercise aimed at invoking divine intervention.

The decision follows a two-week ultimatum issued to Ajibola, communicated through social media and his personal associates.

Despite multiple efforts, including criticisms and direct engagements, the lawmaker has remained unresponsive, according to Wale, the leader of the Oris Solidarity Forum.

"We are deeply dissatisfied with the neglect our constituency has endured over the past year," Wale stated. "Hon. Ajibola, who has aspired to be a state legislator since 2007, has shockingly remained incommunicado, with no significant records of communal engagement."

The group expressed particular disappointment that the lawmaker's only notable contribution thus far has been the change of the state slogan and logo, actions they deem inconsequential to the immediate needs of the Oriade constituency.

"Given the dire economic conditions and the silence from our representative, we believe there might be dark forces at play," Wale added. "As a community rooted in faith, we are turning to God, seeking His intervention where all else has failed."

The Oris Solidarity Forum emphasized the gravity of the situation, appealing to the public to join in the fasting and prayers. "Our people are suffering in silence," Wale said. "This is not a time for jokes; we are facing a serious spiritual struggle. We need everyone to participate in this divine plea for our constituency's deliverance."

OPERATION SAVE ORIADE STATE CONSTITUENCY

ORIADE: Group asks constituents to fast and pray for the lawmaker over terrible performance in office

A group of young people who are interested in the growth and development of Oriade LG, called the Oris Solidarity Forum, has declared a 3-day fast and intense prayer for Hon. Kanmi Ajibola, a lawmaker representing Oriade State Constituency, over his poor performance in office.

The call for fasting and prayer was born after a two-week ultimatum was given to the lawmaker, which was communicated to him via tagging on social media and through his friends.

The forum, through her leader, Wale, while expressing her dissatisfaction over the neglect the good people of Oriade constituency have suffered in the last year, further stated that several attempts, such as criticisms and personal engagements, among others, to awaken the lawmaker from 'legislative slumberness' did not work.

The forum disclosed that it is shocking that Kanmi Ajibola, a lawyer and someone who has desired to be a state legislator since 2007, could be incommunicado and have no records of communal engagements with his people.

The forum acknowledged that the only participation of Kanmi Ajibola that is known to the constituents is the change of the state slogan and logo, which have no impact on the constituency.

While appealing to the public to participate in the fasting and prayers for the benefits of Oriade constituency, the forum stated that there's a possibility that there are some dark forces possibly responsible for this sad development, and as a constituency whose belief lies in God, we are not ready to joke with possible spiritual struggles.

We resort to God after every attempt to awaken our beloved legislator does not work. Our people are suffering in silence. Being neglected for a whole year in this hard economy is very worrisome. We ask you all to join us in the fast and intense prayers, Wale added.

*All Sufficient Grace*

*³³2 Corinthians 9:6-9 NKJV*
“But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work…”

Welcome to the glorious month of June, 2024. The hand of God is strong upon us, and His intentions for this church in this season are clear. As the rain begins, we recognize that it is the season for sowing. For as long as the earth remains, seedtime and harvest will not cease. When the heavens pour rain on us, it signals that heaven expects us to start sowing massively. Heaven’s call to sow signifies a massive harvest in God’s mind that our sowing will trigger in our lives.

Many people make the mistake of acknowledging God’s plans and hearing the sound of abundant rain, yet they fail to take responsibility. They don’t realize they have a role to play before heaven’s will can manifest in their space. We all know the story of Elijah: he heard from heaven that rain was coming, and he prayed it down. In our case, the rain is already here, and it’s time to start sowing.

Scripture outlines two ways to sow seeds: sparingly or bountifully. When you sow sparingly, you reap sparingly. When you sow bountifully, you reap bountifully. Let us ready our hearts, clear our minds, and purposefully decide to sow not grudgingly or out of necessity, but because heaven desires it. Giving should be done bountifully and cheerfully, without grumbling or compulsion. God loves a joyful giver, and the joy comes from knowing the blessings that await on the other side of sowing.

When we sow the right seeds with joy, we activate God’s ability. A wise man once said you don’t plant corn because the ground is hungry or to meet the earth’s need; you sow because of the harvest you desire. When sowing is done rightly, God is able to make all grace abound toward us. There is a level of grace God wants to release upon His body right now, activated by our seeds.

The seed to sow in this case is the seed of charity, giving to the poor. Scripture states, "He has dispersed abroad, he has given to the poor, and his righteousness endures forever." I have always maintained that giving to the poor is paramount to God. Jesus will judge us based on how we treat the poor. The massive grace God wants to release will be triggered by our strategic, deliberate, bountiful, and cheerful giving to those in need—particularly widows, orphans, the sick, and the homeless.

As a church, we must go all out this month to meet the needs of those around us. This is how we tap into God’s grace and achieve all sufficiency in all things. We often pray for our hands to be sufficient for us. Your hand becomes sufficient when it extends as God’s hand in the lives of those in need. Enter this month with the spirit of giving, knowing that giving is living, especially to the poor and vulnerable.

Once you do this, heaven will release grace upon your life, and you will have all you need to meet your needs and do all the good works in your heart. Once again, welcome to June. Welcome to your month of all-sufficient grace.

*prayer*
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, multiply the giving grace upon my life.

*Declaration*
I declare that June 2024 opens to me in glory, color, splendor, and uncommon grace. I am in the season of all grace and sufficiency.

Health / Spiritual Benefits Of Fasting And Prayer by GetMeTreated71(m): 7:47am On Jun 01
Fasting and prayer are intertwined practices found in many religious traditions, including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and others. These practices hold deep spiritual significance, offering various benefits for individuals seeking connection with the divine.

Firstly, fasting and prayer are ways to cultivate spiritual discipline. By voluntarily abstaining from food or other comforts, individuals exercise self-control over their physical desires, redirecting their focus towards spiritual nourishment. This discipline strengthens the soul, fostering resilience and perseverance in the face of life's challenges.

Secondly, fasting and prayer serve as expressions of humility and repentance. In many religious contexts, fasting is associated with seeking forgiveness for sins and acknowledging one's dependence on God's mercy. Through prayer, individuals confess their shortcomings and seek reconciliation with the divine, paving the way for spiritual renewal and growth.

Moreover, fasting and prayer deepen one's intimacy with the divine. By setting aside dedicated time for prayer and fasting, individuals create a sacred space for communion with God. In moments of solitude and reflection, they open their hearts to divine presence, experiencing God's love, guidance, and comfort in profound ways.

Additionally, fasting and prayer are means of seeking divine guidance and intervention. In times of uncertainty or hardship, individuals turn to prayer, seeking wisdom, clarity, and direction from God. Fasting accompanies these prayers, intensifying spiritual focus and sensitivity, enabling individuals to discern God's will amidst life's complexities.

Furthermore, fasting and prayer foster spiritual solidarity and community. In many religious traditions, fasting is practiced collectively during special times or events, uniting believers in a shared journey of spiritual growth and devotion. Through communal prayer and fasting, individuals support and uplift one another, strengthening bonds of fellowship and compassion.

In conclusion, fasting and prayer offer a pathway to spiritual enrichment and enlightenment. These practices cultivate discipline, humility, intimacy with the divine, guidance, and communal solidarity. By engaging in fasting and prayer, individuals deepen their connection with the divine, aligning their hearts and minds with God's purposes and experiencing transformative spiritual growth.

MORNING DIGEST!

LIFE AND TIME (Part 272)

LIFE: Living Into Future Enterprise.

TIME: Thinking Into Momentary Enterprise.

Those who rule in the day, usually command it in their closet; and those who keep quiet, only walk blindly into an already commanded day and end up becoming captives to the captains of the day.

Beloveth child of God, arise from your sleep and learn to take hold of the day before you step out of your house.

In life, every thing responds to words.

Job 38:12-13
[12] Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;
[13] That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

From the scriptures above, you’ll agree with me that there is sufficient power in the morning to take hold of the ends of the earth and shake off both the wicked and every wickedness programmed against you for that day.

The Word of God said in Matthew 13:25;
But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

That’s the work of the enemy, but when you speak to the day in the morning, the dayspring (supplies for the day) will locate you and dispel the tares already positions by the wicked to cause you pains through the day.

No wonder our Captain said in Matthew 6:34b;
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Amidst the sufficiency released for each day, there is also wickedness that needed to be handled in the morning in order to enjoy your day.

To be continued…

prayer: LORD, I command every wicked plantation against my life and destiny to die from their roots in Jesus Christ’s name. Amen!

*REMEMBER: THE GREATEST BATTLE IN LIFE IS THE BATTLE OF WORDS.*

U guys are wasting your time, how often is this national anthem sang in government and private sector organisations meetings

This is the sole reason u see fully grown mature adults struggling to sing national anthem because the last time they sang it (take note: not heard it o) joyfully with passion was when they were little boys and girls in primary school!

I suggest that After or before opening prayer in every meeting in both private and government organisations, the anthem should be sang by the participants

AbuTwins:

This is contrary to what i said. Touching the Stone is one of the things by means of which Allaah erases sins. You should ask Allah those questions! Allah forgives sins himself. The means could be touching the black stone, performing a successful Hajj, prayer for forgiveness from a righteous Muslim, asking for forgiveness of sins yourself, etc. The belief that anyone could forgive sin apart from Allah is Kufr.
Guy we already established Allah forgives sin when u kiss or touch the stone- this depicts spiritual significance. That means the stone is a medium through which Allah forgives sin.

Don't tell me ask Allah, I don't believe in him. what we doing here is applying logic to your belief and checking its consistence.
so if Allah can forgive sin via a stone, what then is the problem if Allah decides to forgive sin through blood.

AbuTwins:

Just as there are so many instances where the evidence stem from your own Bible! Obatala, Oduduwa, Sango and other Yoruba stories are folklores, myths and legends. Whoever takes those seriously need a brain check! Oduduwa came down on a chain with palm kernel and a chicken, etc. Then they have to show us their scriptures! Who are their Prophets? What are their beliefs?
Mr Man don't go there.....
Traditionalist have sound oral tradition which is as valid as written scriptures, they also wrote down things in their own way. Don't be brainwashed by this eurocentric falsehood that you forefathers didn't write anything down.

For example, Orunmila (the most important prophet in Yoruba religion) claimed he was sent from heaven by the supreme deity with a message to mankind necessary for life and guidance. Orunmila codified his message in a literary corpus called odu ifa and this is what the Yorubas called oracle which u consult if you follow the religion.

Again talk to traditionalist and learn their belief. stop all this nairaland gist that someone fell down from the sky and broke his head kind of talk.

as per legends and myths, I will say those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Your koran has loads of folklores, legends and myths fables that makes the book a joke to say its from God.

AbuTwins:

You should ask Allah when you meet Him. Matters of the unseen are not answered by humans!
I dont need to ask any Allah to know your belief is inconsistent and illogical. If u telling me it's ok for Allah to atone for sin via a stone in Islam then why is it wrong for traditionalist to offer gin to their deity via their own sacred stones.
It's either both practices are to be considered IDOLATRY or the concept should be abandoned all together for both.
simple

AbuTwins:

So why do they give them food? Offer them sacrifice by spilling blood on them, etc?
no deity receives food from any body. do u give Allah food when u sacrifice ram on sallah day, no be una dey chop am. OR have u seen any spirit collect food chop?
The same way u sacrifice ram to your Allah is the same way they sacrifice to their deity. It's symbolic.
once again learn the difference btw occultism and religion.

AbuTwins:

Where did Allah specifically and contextually say He has daughters? Can't you guys do without telling lies?

read the satanic verses.
surah 53:19-20 as delivered by satan unto Muhammed's tongue

"Have you seen al-Lāt and al-'Uzzā and Manāt, the third, the other?, these are the high-flying cranes and their intercession is to be hoped for.'

All early Islamic sources including Al Tabari confirmed Muhammed uttered this verse and the satanic verse was universally accepted as a true event. Then Muhammed was illustrated as a prophet with his own struggles. Na later in the era of hadith collections and subsequent orthodoxy that Muhammed became an infallible prophet.

*THE DAILY FOUNTAIN DEVOTIONAL.* CHURCH OF NIGERIA _(ANGLICAN COMMUNION)_

*DATE:* SATURDAY, 1ST JUNE, 2024

*THEME:* LET THERE BE LIGHT AND THERE WAS LIGHT

*TEXT:* GENESIS 1: 1-5 (NKJV)

1. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

2. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

3. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

4. And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness.

5. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day

*MESSAGE:*

At creation, the Bible affirms that the _"..earth was without form and void: and darkness was upon the face of the deep... and God said, Let there he light: and there was light"_ _(Gen. 1: 2 & 3)._ God brought the light into being to dispel darkness and reveal the beauty of His creation. Light is the opposite of darkness and everyone knows that darkness is associated with confusion, evil and death. The advent of light makes darkness lose its power and influence, and announces the beauty of all hidden treasures. It is interesting to note that when darkness was the major characteristic of the empty earth, God commanded light into being.

Beloved, it is possible that darkness has covered your life and probably your business or family. It is possible that before now you might have been living in a state of confusion and under satanic influence. However, God who commanded light into the darkness of the world, is still the same today (Heb. 13: cool. If you have received the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you have been given the authority over snakes and scorpions and all the powers of darkness, and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10: 19). All you need to do is to declare light into the darkness of your life and there will be light. If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, you have to do so in order that darkness will vacate your life (John 1: 9). There will be light in your life today!

*prayer:*
Father, let there be light in my life today, in Jesus mighty name. _*Amen.*_

Libation of the Polytheists is for gods (plural/polytheism) not God. You can insist for your satisfaction that the aforementioned isn't true. Ask your traditionalist friends or acquaintances if other gods exist as well as the ones they pour libation for?
This is not about monotheism v polytheism. This thread is about associating a graven image with your deity. Can we call it idolatry when we venerate a stone during worship of your god

honesttalk21:

Have you bothered to study the the chain of transmission and the text of hadith that say the black stone grants forgiveness? Please provide the text of the prayer made to the black stone asking it for forgiveness and a report of its response otherwise stop repeating what is untruth.

Is this not evidence that the black stone has significant spiritual influence and connotation.

honesttalk21:

Do you not see how illogical your claim of a black stone being white then turned black due to sins is? When you paint your house with high quality paint does it not darken over years of exposure to natural element? I thought you are a professional of advanced scientific learning? Why is it not called the once white but blackened stone or any other such variant? Give statistically representative evidence of people that saw it when it was white. I figure you have another repugnant untruthful response to this.
The meteorite-origin theory of the Black Stone is derived from similar stories of sacred stones such as the one placed and worshipped in the Greek Temple of Artemis.

honesttalk21:

Why prophet Muhammad kissed the stone has been explained before. His forefather's placed it after it came to earth. Do you not know how certain treasure passed from generation to generation are valued? When footballers win even the world cup don't they kiss it despite replicas being made for tournaments? This stone is the same over several millennia.
Try harder.

honesttalk21:

How is Allah's time shared? It seems you don't know all the rights of hajj are in worship of Allah.
hajj is a period dedicated to Allah with intention of drawing close to him. Any act done during this time is considered spiritually significant otherwise u wont do it.

honesttalk21:

Just noticed you repeat the usual slander of the age of Aisha that is definitely a lie. Scrutiny of this by scholars do not agree with this.
https://newlinesmag.com/essays/oxford-study-sheds-light-on-muhammad-underage-wife-aisha/#:~:text=According%20to%20Little%2C%20the%20claim,of%20Aisha%20against%20Shiite%20detractors.

Muslims should learn to call what is evil as evil, Muhammed is no saint!!!

honesttalk21:

It is an over flogged case and has no direct relation with your originally asked question or do you now equate the prophet's marriage to the primary acts of worshipping Allah?
I referenced it as example of how not to follow Muhammed, u are the one that made a molehill out of it.

honesttalk21:

I imagine this later inclusion is a ploy for further unending discussion.

Drop Aisha's marriage and answer my question. what is the spiritual significance of the black stone. why is it venerated?

Religion / Choose Faith Today by Mogbonjubola55: 10:32pm On May 31
This is my command be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9, NLT)

In the same way that faith opens the door for God to work in our lives, fear opens the door for the enemy to work in our lives.

The Bible says that fear brings torment. Fear has no mercy. If you act on fear instead of acting on faith, it will keep you depressed, miserable and lonely. So many people today are missing out on God’s joy, peace and victory because they keep giving in to fear. They feed fear by what they watch on TV or read in the news or on the internet. Don’t let that be you! Romans tells us that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. The more you fill your heart and mind with God’s Word, the stronger your faith will be so you can stand against the powers of darkness. Choose faith instead of fear by choosing God’s Word.

Remember, the power that is in you is greater than the power of fear. When thoughts come that say, “You’re not able,” choose faith by saying, “I can do all things through Christ!” Choose faith, overcome fear and live in the freedom God has in store for you!

prayer
Father, I receive Your Word today which is life, health and strength to me. I choose to close the door on fear by guarding what I say, listen to and dwell on. Fill me with Your love and faith as I meditate on Your Word in Jesus' name. Amen.

In 2013 I made a post and cited some research materials for the above given topic. When this topic was discussed most people saw it as a debate that has no bases in Nigeria because according to most, it's something of no consequences, but over the years things have changed.

About a week ago I saw a video of guy almost linched by a group of young men in the NORTH for LOOKING/WALKING/SPEAKING IN A GIRLISH WAY LOL.

This topic is now more important than ever because though we consider this abnormal or against our religious orientation, we must agree there is something more and it deserves a thorough understanding.

Find below link to previous post: https://www.nairaland.com/1471542/being-gay-it-genetic-choice

Most people will ask why bring this back up, from experience, we have always been reactive, always trying to retrace our steps, everything from yahoo boys, to scamming, jungle justice, even kidnapping, it's until we begin to see real numbers of dead bodies or decay that we start reorientation, at which time lots of young minds are already too far gone.
I made a promise to re-evaluate the topic after 10 years.

The core of the research:
Homosexuality, “GAY” Is it Genetic or a Choice? Can the 'Choice' Be Changed?

Some research materials:
Research shows that the basic template for the body and brain of a human fetus is female in its structure. As a result men have some redundant female features such as nipples. Men also have mammary glands which do not function but retain the potential to produce milk. There are thousands of recorded cases of lactation in male prisoners of war where starvation led to a diseased liver failing to break down the hormones essential for breast-feeding.
As we now know, six to eight weeks after conception, a male fetus (XY) receives a massive dose of male hormones called androgens which first forms the testes, and then a second dose to alter the brain from a female format to a male configuration. If the male foetus does not receive enough male hormones at the appropriate time, one of two things may happen. Firstly, a baby boy may be born with a brain structure that is more feminine than masculine, in other words, a boy who will most likely be gay by puberty. Secondly, a genetic boy may be born with a fully functioning female brain and a set of male genitals. This person will be transgender.
This is a person who is biologically male but feeling as if he is a female. Sometimes a genetic male is born with a set of both male and female genitals.
Geneticist Anne Moir in her ground-breaking book Brainsex documents the many cases of genetic boys being born looking like girls and being raised as girls, only suddenly to find that they have penis and testicles that 'appear' at puberty.

Homosexuality is Part of History
Among the ancient Greeks, homosexuality was not only permitted, it was highly respected. The slim, boyish, youthful figure was their ideal of beauty, and paintings and statues were erected in its honour. Poems were written about the love that prominent older men had for young men. The Greeks believed that male homosexuality served a noble, higher purpose and it inspired youths to become worthy members of the community. They also found that young gay men proved to be some of their most courageous, successful warriors as they would fight 'side-by-side in love with each other'.
In Roman times, Julius Caesar was described as 'every woman's man and every man's woman.'
When Christianity frowned on same-sex relationships and God reportedly brought his vengeance down on the City of Sodom, homosexuality was banned, disappeared into the closet and wasn't seen in public again until recently. The Victorian era refused to acknowledge that homosexuality existed and, even if it did, it must be the Devil's work and would be severely punished. As we enter the 21st Century, older generations still believe that homosexuality is a recent phenomenon and an 'unnatural' act. The reality is that it has been around for as long as male foetuses missed out on their sufficient share of male hormones.

Is it Genetic or a Choice?
When Body Language author Allan Pease and geneticist Anne Moir appeared together on British television in 1991 for the launch of their books Brainsex (Mandarin Books) and Talk Language (HarperCollins), Moir revealed the results of her research which highlighted what scientists have known for years – homosexuality is inborn, not a choice.
Not only is homosexuality mostly inborn, but the environment in which we are raised plays a lesser role in our behaviour than was previously thought. Scientists have found that as an adolescent or adult, parents' efforts to suppress homosexual tendencies in their off-spring has practically no effect. And because the impact of male hormone (or lack of it) on the brain is the main culprit, most homosexuals are males.
There is no solid evidence that upbringing affects the likelihood of a child becoming homosexual.
For every lesbian (female body with a masculinised brain) there are about eight to ten gay men. If the gay and lesbian movement was to embrace this research and, if the education system taught these findings, homosexual and transsexual people would not encounter as much prejudice. Most people are more tolerant and accepting of a person who has inborn differences than they are of a person who, in their opinion, makes an unacceptable choice. Take, for example, Thalidomide babies, Parkinson's sufferers, autism or people who have cerebral palsy. The public is more accepting of these people because they are usually born with these conditions, as opposed to homosexuals who supposedly choose their lifestyle. Can we be critical of a person who is born left handed or dyslexic? Or with blue eyes and red hair? Or with a female brain in a male body? Most homosexual people believe that their homosexuality is a choice and, like many minority groups, often use public forums to display their 'choice', which generates negative attitudes from many members of the public.

Can the 'Choice' Be Changed?
Gays and lesbians do not choose their sexual orientation any more than heterosexuals do. Scientists and most human sexuality experts agree that homosexuality is an orientation that is unchangeable. Researchers believe that most homosexual orientation develops in the womb, that homosexual patterns are firmly fixed by around age five and that it is outside the control of the person. For centuries, techniques have been used to suppress homosexual feelings in 'sufferers' which have included breast amputation, castration, drug therapy, uterus removal, frontal lobotomy, psychotherapy, electric shock therapy, prayer meetings, spiritual counseling and exorcism. No therapies have ever succeeded.
The best they have been able to achieve is to make some bisexuals confine their sexual activities to members of the opposite sex or force some homosexuals to become celibate through guilt or fear, and to push many others to suicide.
Scientists have shown that homosexuality is an orientation that is unalterable. It's not a choice.
There is a greater than 90% chance that you, the reader, are heterosexual. Think about how difficult it would be to feel sexually attracted to someone of your own sex and you will begin to understand how it is virtually impossible to create feelings that do not already exist. If it was a choice, as many proclaim, why would any intelligent person choose a way of life that exposes them to so much hostility, prejudice and discrimination? Hormones are responsible, not human choices.
Are we Slaves to our Biology?
Scientists know how to change the sexuality of rats and monkeys in the womb. Some groups claim that we can control our likes and dislikes by will or choice and they insist that we can all reverse park or read street directories with the same ease. But scientists know this is unrealistic. You don't need to be a scientist to see that rabbits can't fly, ducks are lousy runners, most women have difficulty reading maps and men reading newspapers are temporarily deaf. Understanding brain structure differences makes us more tolerant of each other and allows us to have greater control over our destiny and to feel positive about our inclinations and choices.
Human intelligence has evolved to a point where we are more in control of our emotions than other animals and can think through our choices. Other animals don't think: they react to circumstances and this makes them slaves to their biology. Our biology is the motivations behind many of the choices we make that sometimes don't seem to make sense to us. So while we are more in control of ourselves than most other animals, we still can't completely buck the system. The biggest obstacle facing most people is their rejection of the idea that we are just another animal with a smart brain. This refusal makes these people victims of their biology.

source.
Barbara & Allan Pease
Abstract from “why men don't listen & women can't read maps

Well long story short, there are two important question here;
1. Is it Genetic or a Choice?
If it is genetic, why do we have to criticize, force other on their sexual orientation? Isn’t that why we as humans have the right to make choice for ourselves

2. Can the 'Choice' Be Changed?
If it can’t be changed why pretend it can be changed by placing a ban on it, when in reality it can’t, instead of allowing these people live happily like every other person.

PROPHET IBRAHIM (ASW)

Prophet Ibrahim was barren for years. One day, he was traveling with his wife, Sarata (Sarah) when they met a tyrant king who wanted to have illicit act with Sarata. Sarata begged God and the king paralyzed. The king 👩‍🏭repented and gifted Sarah a slave named Hajara. 🙎

When Sarah realized her inability to give birth was causing Prophet Ibrahim a lot of heartache, she advised him to marry Hajara. As Allah would have it,

Hajara conceived🤰
and gave birth to Ismail. As human being that Sarata was, jealousy set in. She started nagging around. Allah ordered Prophet Ibrahim to take Hajara and her child away from home to unknown destination out of respect for Sarah. 👬

When they reached a place in the desert, Allah ordered Ibrahim to leave them and go back to his wife Sarah. With sadness, he left them and was going home. When he was sure they couldn't see him again, he turned and said to God;

, "Yah Allah, 🤲I isolated my wife and son in a desert by following your order. Please make that desert a place people from all walks of life will be willing to come. I left my wife and son in a desert with no food nor fruits. Bless the land with enough food and fruit than any other place in the world." 🤲🤲

God answered Prophet Ibrahim prayer. That desert he dumped his family is now Ka'aba. See millions of people willing to go to Mecca yearly. See how fresh and surplus fruits and foods from Mecca are. ⭐⭐

Yah Allah! You ere the God of yesterday,☝️(Allah)

You are the God of today ☝️(Allah)

You will still be the God of tomorrow.☝️(Allah)

You are the God who answered Prophet Ibrahim's prayer and turned a desert to a blessed land.☝️

Please save us in Nigeria. Turn Nigeria to a Pezaceful and Prosperous Nation. Make Nigeria a country everyone from walks of life will be dreaming to visit. Turn Nigeria to a blessed land.
🤲🏽🤲🏽🤲🏽

Remove all evil and bad leaders from leading this nation.

1. Is it Genetic or a Choice?
If it is genetic, why do we have to criticize, force other on their sexual orientation? Isn’t that why we as humans have the right to make choice for ourselves

2. Can the 'Choice' Be Changed?

Jackie, Our Pet Dog
When we were younger, dad brought home a cute little puppy. We were thrilled with the puppy, and named it Jackie. My siblings and I loved it, Jackie was adorable. We played, fed, bath and visited the vet for treatment when need be. Jackie practically grew up with us.

Things changed when my sister and I left for school in another state, a boarding school, so we only got to see Jackie during the holidays. It was usually a wonderful and exciting reunion, until time to leave for school again.

One day, while at home for holidays, we found out we would be relocating to stay with mum, in another part of the country, and dad would be joining us soon. Sadly, the grown ups had decided that Jackie would stay with dad. Things went on pretty fast and Jackie was forgotten. Dad joined us as planned, without jackie. At the time, I never knew what became of our beloved dog.

One day, (we were all grown now) we got talking and someone mentioned dear old Jackie, and the fun times we had. As we chatted, I asked my dad about Jackie, I would never forget his words.
He had his stuff packed into the car in preparation for a long drive. As he drove off, he looked at the mirror and saw Jackie running after his car. Dad never had any intention of going with Jackie, so he never bothered to stop, he just kept riding and Jackie kept following until it got tired to keep up; and he lost him.I guess he decided Jackie could fend for itself.

That was harsh, wasn't it? Not everyone cares about dogs. I was so touched by what he said that day. I played the scene in my head over and again. My heart goes out to Jackie. I would never know if Jackie became a stray dog, homeless, cold and hungry, or maybe find its way back to the house or maybe kind neighbors took better care of him? I hope so. Jackie was our first real pet. Memories of my childhood would not be complete without it and I know Jackie missed us just as much as we missed it too.

As I think of Jackie, our beloved pet and how lost and lonely he must have felt, I think of the hurts, disappointments, lost dreams, sadness that comes with our existence in this world. I imagine the hurt that a little boy feels when he is bullied at school or perhaps children whose parents are separated or going through a divorce, how left out they must feel? Their security, threatened.

I think of the little girl who is constantly being abused but fears to speak up because she has been threatened over and again. I imagine a sick mum or dad with no means of getting good treatment and is abandoned in a nursing home.

Life is just so hard, you cry, you weep, you are angry and frustrated. When will this end? Will things ever be okay? Do I dare hope for a change? Will I ever smile again?
Yes, there is hope in Jesus Christ. You may have been treated badly, betrayed and abandoned. Please do not lose hope.
God says to you: "for he hath said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5b
The bible also says: " when my father and mother forsake me; then the Lord will take me up. Psalm 27:10
Beloved, Jesus loves you so much: he sees your pain and knows what you are going through. It breaks His heart every time tears rolls down your face. He knows your thoughts, your hope for freedom, your dream of a better life, your strong desire to be happy.

You know what? Jesus wants you to be happy too, he has always been there waiting for you to accept him to your heart. God knows your name and is thinking of you, He is concerned about you and wants to be your friend. If only you will come to him, let Him take away the pain and bitterness from you.
But how? That's easy. Just close your eyes and talk to Him. Ask Jesus come into your heart, tell him you are sorry for all the wrongs you have done and you want him to save you, to be your Lord and personal saviour.

See what the bible says:
"Come now and let us reason together says the Lord, though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be though they be red as crimson, they shall be as wool..." Isaiah 16:3
Trust me, this is all you need to do, and watch Jesus turn things around for you. If only you knew how long he has been waiting for you to invite him into your heart. Don't lose hope, just keep talking to Jesus in prayers and read your Bible daily, In time, you will smile again. Jesus is just a prayer away and patiently waiting for you.
