Update From . COM A man jailed for beating his wife to death on a cruise ship in front of their kids has been found dead in his prison cell. Kenneth Manzanares, 43, from Utah in the USA, was aboard the Emerald Princess cruise ship in Alaska with his family when he beat his 39-year-old wife Kristy to death on 25 July 2017. He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder last year and was sentenced to 30 years in prison and five years on probation. On 14 July, Manzanares was found unresponsive in his Alaska prison cell at around 7am. He was pronounced dead at 7.42am. The Alaska Department of Corrections said in a statement that his death was not related to Covid-19 and that foul play is not suspected. Manzanares, Kristy, and their three kids were travelling on the cruise to celebrate their 18th wedding anniversary when Kenneth allegedly snapped after Kristy laughed at him and told him she wanted to get a divorce. On the night of Kristy's murder, cruise ship passengers had been expecting to partake in a Sherlock Holmes murder mystery event. So, as the murder of Kristy unfolded, many passengers presumed it was all part of the act. Passenger Natalie Beckstrom told St. George News: "That’s kind of what everybody in the room was thinking was that it was just part of the play... So, you know, we all just kind of sat down and went on with the play." See Photos As Obtained By Below: Source: BLOG

Update From . COM Whatsapp has now released a new feature that has been the talk of the tech community for a long time, Reports. According to Facebook engineers, the new feature would allow for the hugely popular service be used on multiple “non-phone” devices without needing to connect to the smartphone app. The makers have confirmed that this feature will be released as a beta version and it will be circulated only to a small group of users. This is because the makers want to identify and fix all the minor bugs and issues that could show up while using this new feature. WhatsApp’s main feature, end-to-end encryption will also be available while using this feature. Facebook engineers suggested that the software design of WhatsApp needs a complete change. They say this because the app is currently using a smartphone app as the primary device. This makes the phone the source of truth for all user data and the only device capable of end-to-end encrypting messages for another user or initiating calls. And the content shown on WhatsApp Web is basically a mirror image of the phone app. A blog post shared by Facebook engineers on Wednesday July 14, read; “With this new capability, you can now use WhatsApp on your phone and up to four other non-phone devices simultaneously – even if your phone battery is dead." WhatsApp can already be used on “companion devices,” such as computers, but exchanges are routed in such a way that if a person’s smartphone is offline or has zero battery, it won’t work. “The new WhatsApp multi-device architecture removes these hurdles” by no longer requiring a smartphone to perform every operation, the company said. Whatsapp Engineers also made assurances that WhatsApp’s security measures will still work under the new system. It added; “Each companion device will connect to your WhatsApp independently while maintaining the same level of privacy and security through end-to-end encryption that people who use WhatsApp have come to expect.” Source: WHAT'S APP COMPANY
