Christianity EtcWas Prophet Muhammad A Role Model? I Don’t Think He Is. Proves Below by seek4usman(op): 8:04am On Nov 22, 2019
Was Prophet Muhammad a role model?

I don’t think so…

If you look at these below, you will see how bad he was:

(Sahîh Bukhârî, Sahîh Muslim)

(Sunan At-Tirmidhî)

Virtue
The Prophet said: 'Do not be people without minds of your own, saying that if others treat you well you will treat them well, and that if they do wrong you will do wrong. Instead, accustom yourselves to do good if people do good and not to do wrong if they do evil.'
(Sunan At-Tirmidhî)

Justice

Civility
The Prophet said: 'The Muslim does not slander, curse, speak obscenely, or speak rudely.'
(Sunan At-Tirmidhî)

Honesty
The Prophet said: 'Honesty leads to righteousness and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man remains honest and concerned about honesty until he is recorded as an honest man with Allah. Lying leads to sinfulness and sinfulness leads to the Fire. A man keeps lying and remains partial to lies until he is recorded as a liar with Allah.'
(Sahîh Bukharî, Sahîh Muslim)

Tolerance
Once the Prophet was seated at some place in Madinah, along with his Companions. During this time a funeral procession passed by. On seeing this, the Prophet stood up. One of his companions remarked that the funeral was that of a Jew. The Prophet replied, "Was he not a human being?"
(Sahîh Bukhârî, Sahîh Muslim, Sunan An-Nasâ'î)
A disbelieving Bedouin urinated in the mosque, and the people rushed to beat him. Allah's Apostle ordered them to leave him alone, let him finish and pour water over the place where he has passed urine. The Prophet then explained to the Bedouin calmly, "This is a place of worship, in it is the worship of God and the reading of Qur'an." After the Bedouin had left, the Prophet then said to his companions, " You have been sent to make things easy (for the people) and you have not been sent to make things difficult for them."
(Sahîh Bukhârî, Sahîh Muslim)

Equality
The Prophet said: 'There is no superiority for an Arab over a non-Arab, nor for a non-Arab over an Arab, nor for a fair-skinned person over a person with dark skin, nor for a dark-skinned person over a person with fair skin. Whoever is more pious and God-fearing is more deserving of honour.'

(Sahîh Bukhârî)

Charity
The Prophet said: 'Charity (sadaqah) is due upon every joint of a person on every day that the sun rises. Administering justice between two people is an act of charity; and to help a man concerning his riding beast by helping him on to it or lifting his luggage on to it is an act of charity; a good word is charity; and every step which you take to prayer is charity; and removing that which is harmful from the road is charity.'

IslamRe: 10 Things You Should Not Do This Friday If You Are A Muslim by seek4usman: 5:32pm On Jul 22, 2016
youngsahito:
– Yaomul Jumuah or simply Jumuah is the Arabic word for Friday, the sixth day of the week, when Muslims gather in the Masjid (Mosque) to say the weekly Friday prayer known as Salaatul Jumuah

– Jumuah itself is the most revered day among the seven days that make up a week, as Muslims prepare so much for it
– Muslims will be saying Salaatul Jumuah this Friday just like all other Fridays until the world cease to exist

– It is important Muslims desist from some acts which could reduce the reward they will get from Allah every Jumuah

This Friday or any other Friday should not be joked with. It is a day which is known as one of the days of the festivities of the Muslims. Any Muslim who believe in Allah (God) should not do things which deviate from what the day typifies.

1. Talking/greeting people in the Masjid while the Imaam is giving the Khutbah
It is totally wrong to talk or greet anybody while the Imaam is delivering the Khutbah (sermon). When the Imaam mounts the Minbar (pulpit), all forms of talking or any other thing must stop, until Salaatul Jumuah ends.
Salaatul Jumuah is not just the prayer which is said after the Khutbah, but the Khutbah is also one of the two components of Jumuah, which is before the two Raka’h prayer.
Muslims are not allowed to greet nor to reply greeting while the Khutbah is ongoing.
2. Reciting the Glorious Qur’an while the Khutbah is going on
The Glorious Qur’an is the Book of Allah, which is recited even by the Imaam during the Khutbah and on prayer. However, it is wrong to recite it as the Imaam is delivering the Khutbah. It is either it is recited before or after the Khutbah.

3. Standing up for the Naafil when the Imaam commences the second part of the Khutbah
There is a practice whereby some Muslims who ought to observe the Naafil (voluntary prayer apart from the compulsory ones) called Tahiyyatul Masjid (Naafil observed upon entering the Masjid) when they enter Masjid for Jumuah.

They will rather prefer to stand up for Naafil when the Imaam begins the second part of his Khutbah. This is not okay at all.

4. Disturbing the Saff (row) and forcing yourself into it when people have already occupied it
If someone comes a bit late for Salaatul Jumuah, he should find a space in a Saff that is vacant. He should not force himself into a Saff where there is no space, just like a person forcing himself into a room where there is no space to swing a cat.

5. Engaging oneself with someone’s mobile phone while the Khutbah is going on
The advent of the cell phone has taken away the life of many people. They can hardly stay away or switch off their handsets for a few minutes. They feel as if they will lose their soul if their mobile phone is not with them for at least five minutes.
It should be known that the best thing to do when a person comes for Salaatul Jumuah is to switch off his handset or leave it at home or in the office.

6. Intentionally going late for Salaatul Jumuah
Absence makes the heart grow fonder is a popular saying. The more a person becomes accustomed to a habit, the more someone derives joy in such habit. A Muslim, who believes his business is close to Masjid, and will only enter the Masjid for Jumuah when the Jumuah prayer is about to be said should do away with this habit.
Whether a person’s place is a stone’s throw to the Masjid or not, it is advisable to be in the Masjid right before the Imaam commences the Khutbah.

7. Deliberately skipping Salaatul Jumuah
Some conditions could make saying Jumuah impossible sickness or being in a situation beyond someone’s control, which does not happen every Friday. Therefore, a male Muslim especially should never fail to attend Salaatul Jumuah.

8. Playing games like Ludo or any other one while other Muslims are going for Salaatul Jumuah
Allah specifically mentioned in Suuratul Jumuah that the believers should hasten to the Masjid when the call for Jumuah is made. However, it is pathetic to see some Muslims waste the valuable time which should be used for Salaatul Jumuah on frivolities.

9. Staying outside the Masjid for no reasons while Khutbah is going on
While the Khutbah is going on, some Muslims are seen outside the Masjid, doing what is against the etiquette of Jumuah, like talking for several minutes or even up to an hour.

10. Using Ramadan fast as an excuse of skipping Salaatul Jumuah
Although, the effect of fasting Ramadan could drain someone’s energy, but this should not be used as an excuse not to say Salaatul Jumuah in the month of Ramadan.

Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Christians Still Fornicate After Knowing It's A Serious Sin? by seek4usman: 3:40pm On Jun 12, 2016
Holydude:
I know many will castigate me or hate me for this. But then it is what is happening around in so many churches. Almost all religions in the world promotes moral chastity. Even the traditional religion does.

Christianity isn't left out. For over 10-15 years many us have been going to church, reading in the Bible that fornication and sexual immorality is a serious SIN against God. And those practicing it will not inherit His kingdom. 1 Corinthians 6: 9. Yet after reading this, Many wont stop to fornicate.

To this extent, many Christian brothers and sisters, have form their own moral standard. They claim it wrong to sleep with one you are not dating, but as along you both are dating, there is nothing wrong if you both have sex.

It wonders one to think if the Bible says fornication is only for those dating.
I Corinthians 7:1-5 makes it clear sex was for only married people.
1 Thessalonian 4:3-8 urges all Christians to flee from fornication.

From what is happening in today churches, people no longer has issues engaging in premarital sex. They believe as long they obey other laws it more than enough. No matter how many times they read it in their Bible, it wont stop them. Their conscience doesn't trouble them.

The hypocritical part is, they are quick to condemn prostitutes. You defile your body for free, prostitutes does it for money, who is now cheap? They condemn homosexuals and say it a serious SIN and yet they glorify fornication to an extent that people are virgins are regarded as fools. Ask yourself who really is God proud of?

The truth is no true christian or a God-fearing person will indulge in fornication. Even if he does, he repents and never return back to it.

There are no ways about it. You cant slave for two masters. It either you are a slave to sex or to God. And as the Bible tells us, the sins of sexual immorality leads to eternal destruction. Who fornication epp?

Why don't we live by what we read in our Bible? It definitely mean 95% of Christians wont not inherit the Kingdom of God. God has no double standard. Because your Bible said Jesus had died for your sins
