I stand to be corrected. They don't pair a brother and a sister for marriage in RCCG or Deeper Life. Marriage is based on 'the will of God' in this two churches as much as I know. You will approach the marriage committe or pastor in charge with your conviction about who God has chosen for you as a wife or husband. @ OP do your investigation very well.... |

Styling hair cut is not a sin but it won't distingush you as a child of God from the world. There must be a clear difference betwen a child of God who has experience salvation and a sinner/unbeliever. It is very important for a genuine child of God to be first seen outwardly with the mode of dressing and looks as a real christian. 1 Timothy 2:9 - In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;..... Modest is very essential to all who has experience salvation. Our life must a living example to unblievers with clear difference even without preaching the 'WORD' to them. |
Youth pls shun crime. It will only end u in jail @last or even death |
Fighting terrorism is one thing, human right abuse is another. D torture and killing of people who are not members of Boko Haram but are suspected to be is human right abuse. There are disturbing footage online to back this up. I know d Nigeria military is highly efficient but they need to be caution on abuses of the rights of people living around d troubled states in the north east. |
This kind of news clearly shows us why we should be greatful to God as a Nation. Nigeria has never experience a major disaster over year. Ebola wey try us self, we quench am. I imagine how our country would have been a safe heaven for everyone if not for corruption and bad governance. |
Growing up was fun for most of us who did some of this while still a kid. I remember how I use to follow Sallah ram ![]() |
I don't think tagging a particular tribe with hard drug business is ideal. Every human being looking for shortcut to wealth will always indulge in crime. A criminal remain a criminal irrespective of tribe affiliation. Without igbo's in Nigeria, sometimes I wonder what our Economy will look like. Every tribe has his good and bad breed. There's only two kind of human, d good and d bad. I am yoruba but let's face d fact, we all need each other to make this country great and crime free. God bless Nigeria |
I don't know the reason why ogun state is mention as part of state owing workers cos information am privilege to have access to clearly signifies that a lot of workers in d state has recieve their May salary except few.. if u have a civil servant in Ogun state, u can confirm... |
We have a lot of wealthy rich men and women in Kaduna, let them take up the mantle of sharing rice, veg oil, wheat and other stuffs during this ramadan period. Let government face governance and projects that will benefit the people. Truly religion shouldn't be part of governance. Dangote and co can do a lot of sharing of this things abeg... |
Buhari must probe NNPC and the petrolium Ministry management. He need to know what has hindered the resuscitation of this refinary until when a new government come on board. We need more refinaries. We need private investors partnership in creating more to address our growing population. Government cannot do it alone without investors who believe in the present government policies to participate. The 40million liter per day will keep increasing as long as our population keep increasing. Power must also be fixed cos its adding a large quota to the daily consumption of fuel. |
We are not really concern about the salary mr speaker, we are conern about d annual package of each legislator. Salary plus other entitlements and allowances is the 'Jumbo'. You guys won't fight so hard for the sit if the package is not 'jumbo' cos most of u guys are earning more than a Nigerian senator or rep salary in your individual business before joining politics. The truth of the matter is that you all join the race to eat from the national cake which has already gone lean. A total cut or drastic reduction in their pay will see a legislator slot unattractive to most of them except for the greedy and few how are indeed ready to serve. |
If Buhari government must be seen as a government with zero tolerance for corruption, people like Kashamu must be made to face the law. I don't see any reason why his case shouldn't vindicate him if it is truly a case of mistakn identity. I'm sure he has been using a lot of influence and bribe on the juduciary to get this far. But one day, his political influence and bribe will fail him. |
Ogun state is not owing, that I am very sure of. Salary has been paid til may last month in Ogun state. |
Follow ur heart. |
With 50% drop in fedral allocation, how do u expect states with lower IGR to survive? Am sure the 50% most of this states recieve is not even enough to pay salaries and equally embark on developmental projects. GEJ spent almost 3billion on his re-election campaign. Do u knw how far this money would hav gone in developing this nation? |
How did we get here? Even if we are being cheated, NBC and our govt can't do anything about it? What a country! Buh am sure S.A govt can regulate multichoice prices abi? See where bad leadership has led us. |
My preferred candidate stil remain former DG of DSS and former acting director of the NSA Col. Kayode Are. The man remain d most intelligent security cheif I know right from his days at the directorate of Military intelligence to DSS and NSA |
It's all about what u can get from GEJ. Everyone is after the national cake. If u like kill urself because of GEJ, it won't change the outcome of March 28th. |
The rate @ which teenagers smokes weed is days is really scary. Some are expose to smoking @ d tender age of 16yrs old. @OP, he really needs ur love and most importantly prayers. Those who smokes don't let out d habit easily. U need to seperate him from those friends and make sure u're always watchful of his company. |
Leaving the polling centre after casting your vote should be a personal decision. Majority of those who wil likely stayback belong to either of the participating political party. The IGP might be right cos places where you thought a particular candidate wil win easily and eventually lose wil be flash points. In all, if our security agents will only stop being partisan, we wil definitely have a free, fair and peaceful election. May the candidate that wil gurantee a better life for us and our children win. God bless Nigeria |
This is what GEJ dollars and contract has cause. Don't be suprised if this same OPC form a baricade and start burning tyres on major highways if GMB eventually win the election. 'When the power of love is greater than the love of power and money, we wil know peace'. |
Most of us understand that this is d same reason most of this ex militants and OPC leaders are supporting Oga Jona for re-election. They are all in for what they can get. They don't care if about governance and corruption involve as long as there interest is gurrantee. It won't be supprising if some of them start singing APC song if GMB is declear winner of the presidential election. It is a politics of interest in this part of the world. GOD help Nigeria |
If GEJ loses this election, Fayose has everything thing to lose. The APC lawmakers in Ekiti who are the majority wil return to ESHA and might probably impeach him. Also, the Ekitigate might be investigated by Buhari Govt and the election cancel by a court of appeal. Either way, Fayose is at the losing end. That is why he is fighting tooth and nail to ensure GEJ's victory with news papers self sponsored advert and outburst. |
Some people wil start accusing President Deby of being an APC supporter... |
Miinister of Power, Prof. Chinedu Nebo, says it is impossible to provide constant, uninterrupted electricity to everyone in Nigeria in the near future. Speaking with newsmen in London over the weekend, the minister said: “Nobody in the world can provide 24/7 electricity everywhere in Nigeria”, adding that 160,000 megawatts would be needed to do that. The current capacity is 4,500 megawatts. “The cost of providing electricity per megawatt on average is $2billion. To get to where South Africa is, you will need about $3.2trillion (about N672trillion). Where will you find that kind of money?” he asked. In addition to the huge amount of money involved, Prof. Nebo said power projects also take time to come to fruition, stressing that it takes between four and six years to deliver the power projects. “You don’t buy these things off the shelves. It takes time to design, study, procure, manufacture, install and commission”, he said, but explained that the government had done so much on generation capacity, transmission and distribution infrastructure, which are key necessities in power supply. He said 20,000 megawatts was needed to ensure constant power supply to major cities in the country that have been connected to the national grid, but said it would require a lot of resources and time to achieve the feat. The minister further said the current facilities and infrastructure on the ground had the capacity to provide more than 5,000 megawatts in the country, but lamented that some saboteurs were bent on ensuring that the target is not achieved by vandalising gas pipelines on a regular basis. He emphasised that the demand for electricity in Nigeria is so huge that “no matter what you do, once electricity gets to a place, people acquire more facilities, buy refrigerators and air-conditioners, and before you know it, what you think is enough for everyone has to be shared by so many people”. He also said solar power could go a long way in solving Nigeria’s power problems, especially in the rural areas, disclosing that three communities, including Durumi in the suburbs of Abuja, have enjoyed 13 months of uninterrupted electricity since the start of the pilot scheme in December 2013. https://www.dailytrust.com.ng/daily/news/46468-uninterrupted-electricity-impossible-in-nigeria-now-nebo I cant imagine this after all the trillion of dollars spent on power by the 16yrs reign of PDP in Nigeria |
