Politics / Re: Atiku's INEC Server, Scam Of The Century (PM News) by seighapaul(m): 8:17am On Jul 21, 2019
Diamondwriter:
This is really sad though.

It's one thing to say that Buhari won the election and another to say that there was no server.

So the corpers that spent several hours (stayed till the next morning) trying to transmit results to the "server" were fooling themselves?

I keep saying it, we patronize these leaders unnecessarily and that's why they can ride on us at will.

May God help us.

Are you just trying to be mischievous or you just lack the ability to comprehend and assimilate. Didn't you partake in the 2019 pools? Did you vote electronically or you voted using the manual voting paper? Or are you mistaking electronic accreditation with actual voting? If you were present at a polling unit, did you witness and see operatives of various security agencies stationed at the polling unit? Were these security agents on ground to protect a server or tasked to ensure order and protect our manual votes? The corpers you referenced...did they tell you they transmitted results electronically or they physically carried these results to their assigned local government collation centers? We all watched the electoral process on live TV (I used Channels TV) and witnessed periodic live updates from one INEC guy on Channels TV.

I'm still puzzled how PDP and her warrior supporters jumped in the "INEC SERVER" narrative

I'm not disputing that. I don't care about Atiku. I care about you grin and other Nigerians out there. These are questions that should be asked and if a satisfactory answer can't be given, they should be arrested. The reason why the country continues going backwards is because we let these politicians get away with everything.
In a sane state, how will our present crop of politicians rule when it's obvious that they are all kleptomaniacs

Now that we both are on same page regarding the myopic INEC server case...I totally agree with you on ur post above

When I made request for the money, I expected a breakdown of how it was spent which should include that of the collation server. Don't be quick too quick to make a response.

This wasn't why Atiku went to the tribunal

Your quest for ill gotten wealth via scamming frustrated Nigerians will drive you to a bottomless dark pit. The dumbest security agent can easily and effortlessly apprehended you by just simply posing as an innocent online client. Na just N5,000 go put you 4 big wahala.

If you're in Lagos...go learn how to produce or prepare "Tiger-nut" drinks (similar to "Konu"wink and watch ur life slowly turnaround. Being poor or lazy is a state of mind and not a function of the Buhari led government

Do you really believe a sensitive and big organization like INEC wont have a server? Server for voters and all election data ? In 2019?

There is a server but either was deliberately not used or ...

Budget was allocated for it now.

INEC never said they didn't have a server...the electoral laws just didn't approve the use of these servers for the 2019 elections. Election results weren't stored in any server... the only area of the elections that were electronic was the accreditation of voters via card readers.

Did anyone actually see money in those bullion vans? Did anyone witness sharing of money after the arrival of the vans? Has the central bank or any commercial bank within Lagos issue a public statement that an individual withdraw two large bullion vans of cash? Does anyone here know the incredible and outstanding paper trail or financial footprint that will be created by just withdrawing a mere N50 billion from a commercial bank. Can an individual directly withdraw two billion vans filled with cash from the central bank? So many questions and mysteries.

My humble opinion...I doubt if those vans contain a single N500 note. Since the news broke, no one has shown proof that those bullion vans actually visited a named commercial bank and withdraw billions of billions of cash. I watched clips of the vans entering the premises but I didn't see any clips of people collecting money.

Jagaban is the smartest politician out there...he may have just played a smart script by creating an illusion that two big fat bullion vans enter his premises to share money. As usual the PDP supporters may have fallen to this distractions by chasing shadows.

Sorry to hear about your plight. Indeed the criminals were able to unlock your phone using phone unlocking software. They were able to withdraw money from your account because you saved your password in the bank's mobile app in your phone. Please people, NEVER, EVER SAVE YOUR PASSWORD IN THE APPLICATION. Set the application so that each time you want to withdraw money, it asks for your password. Otherwise, your money is not safe.

Banking apps don't ask to save password...you must input the password or PIN anytime you launch the app. All banking apps even have extra security features that logs out a user after a certain amount of inactivity. No bank will deploy an app that ask to save login details. Once again, pipo base that facts in common sense and it's wrong

I've read every single reply and no one has explained how the poster's money was withdrawn. Almost 95% of replies was based on cheap "common sense" and "emotional handicap". Now my view about all this drama.

I still stand by my view that no pickpocket can withdraw funds from a victims account without carelessness on the part of the victim and/or collaboration with bank officials. Now all bank ussd transactions require a PIN for transactions. I think some banks may not require a PIN for self airtime purchase but a PIN will be needed to purchase airtime for a 3rd party number. I laugh when I hear gullible pipo say withdrawals can be initiated via a BVN or simply knowing a victims account number.

Unless the author saved sensitive details about his bank or ATM card in an unprotected notepad app or sms message...or he was forced at gun point to release the details of his account...or he stupidly clicked an email link to a professionally designed "spam webpage"...I don't think the author is telling us the whole story

It is only a fool that will not know that the picture is photo shop. Look well.

Not even photoshoped...it's a real staged photo shoot to make it look like "underage voting". Am old enough to know that it's now a developing trend by some disgruntled individuals...who's only life ambition is to discredit the effort by INEC in conducting a credible and fair election. My beef is not even the fake photo shoot...but the public that scoop so low and easily believe this trash.

So 98% of readers of this thread believe this pics and the story...personally I think am more worried about the dangerously low IQ of the 98% of people who believe this cheap and fake news.

The 2019 elections was a process, a very tedious and hectic process...from registration to pvc collection and from voter's accreditation to casting of vote etc. You guys just think about it for a minute...can a kid go through all these stages without him/her being checked and stopped along the line? Are there no party agents, security agents, INEC staff, media correspondents and concerned citizens around the embattled polling unit?

Abeg make una try to dey reason b4 you jump to conclusions. You don't need to be devoid of intellectual reasoning because you distaste an opposing party.

Obviously a stage photo shoot...whoever did this is just out to cause mischief. I for once know the stress process to register and collect a PVC...even accreditation and voting is properly organized. There's no way an adolescent will go through the strenuous process of registering, collecting the PVC, accreditation and voting without the kid being apprehended along the line. This image is just to cause mischief and sway public sympathy towards a particular political party. Only a short sighted person will pick this fake news and run with it

If that's the case, it's better to mail them to register your displeasure. Obviously they won't change their policy because of that.

Then you can report them to Lagos State Lottery Board that gave them licence.

After that and still no luck, you can then stop using them and tell all your friends to tell their friends to stop using them. Probably even create a twitter trend.

Good luck

Thanks for ur suggestions...but all these actions for 7k?...I managed to pull out N3,500 via 3 successive little withdrawals and the balance was permanently locked. I later used the balance to play 2odds and lost.

I thank my God that it was just 7k and not a large amount that was involved. I'll advice everyone to run away from Sportybet and never look back

Sportybet and others don chop me tire...I don visit village like 5 times and yet this guys want to further frustrate and aggravate my agony by introducing some new withdrawal rules. Let us show them that there is strength in numbers

I will advice that no one should deposit a large amount of money on Sportybet. They have put in place a new and cruel withdrawal rule. This rule seems to negatively affect their most loyal customers that have been with them for a long time. I know I have a cumulative successful deposits of over N300,000 for a length of over 1-2yrs...and this rule seem to revolve around my total accumulative deposits. No bookie have restricted me in such an inhumane and heartless manner. Sportybet wants me to keep staking and risking my winnings until I can attain a standard withdrawal threshold. PLS STAY AWAY FROM SPORTYBET!!!

Sportybet has locked my money and they expect me to further stake my winnings to a dangerous threshold before I will be allowed to withdraw my money. Not gonna happen!!!
