The era of hackers gaining access to victims account via cognitive and intelligent coding skills are long gone. Don't get deceived by those American and Russian intelligence movies. What's in vogue now is that hackers know that the only way to hack victims is by smartly and psychologically convincing their victims to give out their account details willingly or unwillingly. Trust me...for every hundred victims...there are 1 - 5 successful maga(s). Trash any "Urban Legendary Stories" that a smart hacker can "reverse engineer" an ATM card or "Access" a bank account via coding. ATM card fraud or Bank acct hacking can only be achieved via insider help or the usual yahoo yahoo "spam page" trick (fake websites and fake email). 1 Like |

chidiebereuzoma: [s]Stop misleading ignorantly...u need a verification sms code to change a phone number. Unless the hacker has custody of the owners cell phone to receive this verification sms code...that Facebook acct is not 100% hacked. Or another side of this mess could be the owner of the Facebook acct ignorantly registered the Facebook acct with only his email...without linking his phone number (very lackadaisical and lazy). Facebook wouldn't be childish to allow users change registered email or cell phone number without some sort of verification code via email or SMS. Pls prove and tell me am wrong[/s] |

Your password can be hacked but they can never change ur phone number. You still have a chance to recover ur facebook by using ur phone number to retrieve the account. |

Stingman: This here is why you always get it wrong. As flawed as the 1999 constitution is...it still remains in place until it is reviewed by a democratic means. IPOB shouting up and down cannot change the constitution. Eventually, the 1999 constitution will be reviewed and a more "people's" oriented constitution will be made but not by IPOB. |

gidgiddy: Nnamdi Kanu (a wanted fugitive in Nigeria - true or false), IPOB (a proscribed terrorist groups in Nigeria - true or false) How do you resolve the above issues? The FG played by the book (fairly or unfairly, but legally) and has pushed the Biafra dream to hundreds of years into the future. |

Politics / Re: Revolution: DSS Arrests Omoyele Sowore by seighapaul(m): 8:28am On Aug 03, 2019 |
Nigeria is just too diverse in ethnic, religious and political lines. At this point, a revolution will certainly only bring war and destruction along these faulty lines. Democratically elected government via a credible election is the only way to bind the ethnic, religious and political gap in Nigeria. This is the major reason why activism can't work in countries with these unique challenges (Nigeria is no exception). Due to the modus operandi of activist, it's usually very easy for activists to break on or more laws of the country. This is the reason activists usually or certainly gets in trouble with the government. The DSS only act on matters of national security and they work with the presidency. If a group or citizen gets arrested by the DSS...it's usually very difficult to fight them in court because they must have opened an air-tight file against you for prosecution in court. 1 Like |

DrObiHogan: You are the one blind and misguided. I totally agree on ur point on cheaper foodstuff and consumer items during the 16yrs rule of the PDP era. But there's a reason for that. The economy was in the hands of political cabals, monumental corruption made it possible for these ill gotten wealth to trickle down to lazy Nigerians. In the PDP era, there were lot of food for the lazy man...unexplained and miraculous millionaires were made over night. The Igbos had a field day in the PDP era...as long as you had little cash, there will aalways be a government official to dance to ur tunes. Fast forward to the present reality. It's only natural for supporters of the PDP regime to cry and wail...the lapses found in the PDP era is virtually gone. I know corruption still exists but it's not as openly display when.compared to the PDP regime. Even though we can't see much of the APC progress...the fact remains that foundational structures are being put in place to steer Nigeria to the right path. It'll take a while but we will surely get there. 1 Like 2 Shares |

Politics / Re: Buhari: Anybody Who Thinks He Has Any Other Country Than Nigeria, Goodbye by seighapaul(m): 11:01am On Jul 25, 2019 |
In as much as I voted in the current APC government (specifically Buhari), I still stand by my decision and I still believe that the atrocities committed by the past PDP administration must come to an end. I will confess that am very disappointed in the last 4yrs of the APC rule but we all know economic recovery is a long and painful journey. Statistics still stand by Buhari's side. Millions of Nigerians from across the length and breadth of the country believe in the man. Even nairaland is divided in support of Buhari. Therefore is quite unfair for an individual or group to say "Nigerians hate her President". We all have another chance to pick a new leader in the next pools. Whether we like it or not, hate or love, accept or reject...We are stuck with Nigeria's democratically elected President. 1 Like |
