I got the xiaomi 11t pro for 220k on jiji.... Its equipped with a snapdragon 888 5g chipset. Only down side is that it's stuck with HyperOS on Android 14 (no more major update). 1 Like |

I pity Nigerians on Band D (myself)... My community (Band D) and a neighboring community (Band B)... both communities share same Feeder Unit. It is hell on earth with the way they provide electricity to us on Band D. We go days without light, we are lucky to see 8-10hrs of accumulated light in a week. Just because of this band classification, my community has now become a waste land. No meaningful development, no government presence. All young and able bodied individuals have relocated elsewhere, leaving behind old folks and landlords. This problem started when we were tagged Band D zone. Over 95% of customers are on the dreaded estimated billings (no provision for prepaid meters). But just a stone throw away, our neighboring community Band B, life is heaven on earth. I have friends there and I can tell you they enjoy 10-12hrs of light daily. Hotels, shopping malls, cinemas, night clubs, good roads etc... they have it all. They all have free prepaid meters. My point is that both communities are getting their electricity from the same feeder source and my community never asked for Band D (it was forced on us) and we are paying the price of government policies. 1 Like |

Fact: Itel phones are tailored and structured for a particular market audience. Itel will continue cashing out big time because they have carried out their market analysis and over 80% of the total mobile phone market in Nigeria will gladly buy phones below 80k (most of Itel phones fall within this range).donaldking10: At Poster: If you are above itel phones, all your Village pipo go gladly buy am. Like most of u guys, I'm a heavy data user. On average, I consume about 3-4gb daily and even more some days. I can't see myself purchasing plans like 20gb or 30gb etc... I'll just exhaust it in few days. The best plan I've come to appreciate is mtn and airtel 1gb plan for N200. With this plan, I have complete control on how I spend money on data 58 Likes 2 Shares |

I beg you, don't use ur last 170k to buy a used phone o. Unless you are already hooked to the Apple ecosystem, you can get a used iPhone XR or 11 or above. No near used Samsung galaxy phones. With 170k, you can get really good and amazing mid range new phones (150k - 250k). I already gave my recommendation above and it comes with 5G as a bonus. |

This phone is a beast but I hold my reservations from personal experiences. DO NOT FALL FOR THE TRAP!!!fiercehillz: The poster of this thread strikes me as an average guy on a budget and I will not recommend a 4 Yr old flagship Samsung device for him. Reasons: 1. This is a used phone. Always remember this. Now try and picture how many hands this phone has passed through and what type of usage it has passed through. Just pray a game freak never used this phone for hard-core gaming. Point is, it's very likely the performance you get will be below the out of the box performance. 2. Most 4yr old Samsung phones have had their screen replaced and battery changed. Most likely, you are not getting the original screen or battery with the UK Used phone. 3. Even if the Samsung phone miraculously comes with its original screen and battery, I want to beg you to protect the screen from damage. Google for the price of that screen on jiji. Your body go tell you 4. That Samsung phone got its last major android software update last year (Android 12). This is a psychological and mental killer. Will I say it's wickedness or you just derive pleasure in seeing someone waste money that you can't afford. How can u waste 170k on a MediaTek G88 device. Not saying it's a bad device, but 170k is way too much for this class of phone. Xiaomi Redmi 12 is also within this class and it sells for about 110k and its way better than the one you recommended.AyodejiFelix: My recommendation: Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G (N153,000) If you can put the funny name aside, Xiaomi Redmi phones are built for Nigeria's peculiar needs. 2 Likes |
