Godson201333:We all do know that Mr Paulinus is doing is job so well no doubt with all jealousy, but there should be some level of humane attitude in carryout his duties. Do you know what a lot of people have been through just because of this man's inhumane attitude? A lot of people go through hell, through the process of applying for a visa and getting an appointment, some even come from as far as just for the interview. Only for them to be sent away by Mr Paulinus due to one flimsy reason disregarding the fact that a lot of resources like finance, time etc would have been invested into it. Do you know how disappointing it can be and the psychological trauma those people would have gone through. My brother just because it dint happen to you does not mean you should speak without putting yourself in the shoes of those it happened to just as I am doing. I went for my interview, came out succesfully and am already in Germany. But my thoughts are with those whom have been through all I have pointed out here. I lost count of how many people Mr Paulinus sent back due to flimsy reasons on the day of my interview. I felt bad for one guy I met while on the queue who told me his life and that of his parents depends so much on his interview only if he had known he would be sent back just because his visa fee was short of #500 which I obliged to help out but he Paulinus vehemently refused even with all the plea he gave a dead ear and sent the poor guy away. Just count yourself lucky for not to have experienced this, cos my brother you don't know the stigma, pains and psychological disorder that comes with rejection. One Nigeria I Stand One Nairaland One People. |

Hey Bro I can only imagine what you went through at the embassy gate, i have been in such situation when I also went for my interview sometime last year. As I was reading through your write up everything I experienced that same day came alive. That almighty Mr Paulinus, na only Baba God go judge am cos the man has made a lot of people go through hell. Even those who finally made it into the embassy premises would have forgotten most of what they have rehearsed in preparation for the interview by the time they face the interviewer all because of almighty Paulinus. The man knowingly or unknowingly would have contributed successfully to a lot of people's visa rejection due to the poor performance made on their interview. I also want to use this medium to make a plea to everyone in the house, let's all make a clarion call against this almighty Paulinus that has brought so many misfortunes to most nigerians seeking for a German visa at the German Consulate General, Lagos Nigeria. Thank you all. |

fuzzyhuzzy:Congratulations @fuzzyhuzzy, dats means that your visa application has been approved. You have to submit a travel insurance of the specified no of months the embassy asked you to submit. Book a flight, preferably German air carrier Lufthansa Airline. Print your flight details or flight inteneray. Print a one page paper containing your informations as well as your visa application ref with your intended travel date. Note that date must tally with your insurance and flight. |
ibnkokumo:To God be the Glory I did. |
oladejitaiwo:Bro using someone's else work word for word might term to put you at risk during your visa application review. Even the embassy somewhat frown at Plagiarism Rather your motivation letter should be written using the following guidelines, The format of your motivation letter should follow the format of most letters. It should have these three features: * Introduction * Body * Conclusion These three features should address different issues in your motivation letter. Below are what they should address. Introduction It should explain what makes Germany stand apart from other countries. It should address why you would like to study in Germany. Body It should tackle why you chose to study at your university It should contain some reasons for the choice of your study program. Conclusion It should address your future plans It can be used to clarify any inconsistencies that you might have in your application. For those who are having challenges in writing their motivation letters, please use the already mentioned format and you will triumph. |
Jigba:yea, I think (not sure) embassy do have field investigators whose job is to investigate fraudulent and fake documents. This only happens when they suspect the genuinity of certain documents. But e no easy o, from the gate of the embassy alone the kind fear wey dem go put for your body eehh you go forget all the research wey you do. To God be the Glory I went, saw and conquered at the embassy. Now I have my student visa and would be in Germany soon. |
Jigba:I guess you were lucky, but most interviewers do ask series of questions to ascertain how genuine your intentions are of you going to study in their country. |
BlackDeutsche:Yes further documents like international passport, health insurance, travel date with inteneray would be required. |
Abimbola2018:Yes it is around that figure but that's only if you convert the original fare which is in dollar to naira. you can book only if you have a dollar credit card. I booked my ticket through wakanow, so they included their hidden charges I guess. |
kolidave:Truth is having a sponsorship or blocked account does not determine if you would be given a visa. I know bout few cases where all the necessary documents were provided by student applicants and were still denied visas. What guarantees that you will be given a visa is based on your performance during the visa interview aside having all the necessary documents is; How well you did your research matters a lot, How well you answer the questions, How much you know bout your school, the course of study, the city were your school is located and the country. How you compose and comport yourself during the interview, How well you are able to convince your interviewer you are actually going for studies. Etc.... |
hadassaheke:Thanks so much, I intend to travel on the start date of the visa. Hope that's ok |

BlackDeutsche:Yes I did secure an Accomodation with the school. But I also booked for two days Accomodation in a hotel as well. |
sunbilor:Yes o Ella make e stop, He's rite |

Sometimes I ponder on the Nomenclature of a Woman. From all her excuses, she's divorcing the man because he lied to her about being a rich man. So invariably the woman married him not out of love but because she taught he was a rich man. Would blame the woman, Meanwhile A man would pay bride price, do traditonal marriage, white wedding, feed an cloth the wife, provide shelter for her and the kids, pay skool fees, medical bills etc... And yet it has never been heard of a man taking his wife to court to divorce the wife because he's the one doing everything, Just because he's a man abi. This is why a man's life expectancy is lower while the woman is way much higher. I want to use this medium to plea on the married women to love, cherish and respect their husband cos its really not an easy task. To all the married men out there, I hail thee. |
