My parents raised me well, but there was nothing like emotional enlightenment or support.

Hello Nairalanders!

I want to learn programming, mind you, I just got admission in to the university to study computer science.

I've been longing to learn programming but I don't know how to start or which programming language I should start with coupled with the fact that I don't know anyone one to put me through.

So, I'm asking for opinions from the Experts in the field, how can I start and what program can I start start with as a novice in the field.
