Siena: I reverse any car using a combination of mirrors and turning my head to look through my rear screen, side windows, so covering all blind spots (every car has these).Oga Siena, please i need your input on this thread https://www.nairaland.com/1375978/tyre-size-sienna-co-pls#17445667 Thanks |
Siena: Your front tyre sizes are fine, the rears are too big though. The fronts on your 16" rims are the Honda factory set-up, and are almost the same size as the combination you had on your 15's.@Sienna Make: Toyota Model: Corolla Year: 2002 Trim: CE Engine Size: 1.8 The undercarriage of my car gets scratched by the bad roads too much and i am presently thinking of increasing the ground clearance of the car. Options i beleive include changing the tyres to one of a bigger size or increasing the rim size. i presently use P185/65 R14 tyres and the manufacturer recommended tyre specifications are P175/65 SR14 and P185/65 SR14. Please what do you advise? thanks in advance. Regards, S |

adebayd: Pleaseeeeeeeeee Help!!! Erin Ile/Offa to Ajase Ipo Road too bad since many years ago.The Oshogbo to Ajasse-Ipo road is good from Oshogbo up to the Osun State boundary and thereafter, it has seriously deteriorated. I wonder what the oba's of Erin-Ile, offa and Ajase have done about this road. I lost an aunt on this road july 1, 2012. We dey here dey complain about a deposition when all the factories in Erin-Ile and Offa have long been comatose - Okin industries (okin bisuits, okin foam, okin malt, Noble beer, etc.), Kwara Paper Converters, Demosco Industries, etc. How do we get our people employed and productive? That should be the question. |

chibabe3: It is so sad the amount of pain Nigerian car owners go through simply due to ignorance. Most times when a car is not firing well the mechanic will say that the injector needs servicing but the truth is that there are thousnd and one things in a car that will cause the problem. I have fallen victim to this ignorance until my brother sent me a car scanner and I discovered that the Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IAT) of my car had malfunctioned. Meanwhile I serviced the injector, washed the tank, changed distributor, mass air flow meter, air filter, plugs, fuel filter but the problem persisted. I have now understood that the technology used for these mondern vehicles is far above the understanding of our mechanics. I ADVISE EVERYONE TO GET A SIMPLE SCANNER AND UNDERSTAND THE WORKING PRINCIPLE OF YOUR VEHICLE.Which scanner did you get and how much did it cost? |
never got an update to this. did it get sold? |
What would be the cost of the following vehicles? Nissan Altima - 2002 Toyota Corolla - 2000 Toyota Previa - 2000 What is the cost of getting custom papers also? thanks |
If you dont mind, whats the cost of the c230 like? I always had the opinion that MB were very expensive, but actual users on Nairaland seem to be saying that not true! |

@all, do have a happy weekend, hope i am able to get out of work soon. @WTMH the government or somebody decided to grade the powerline road leading to my lungu and they did that yesterday. the heavy rain early this morning however caused wahala, all cars just dey skid off the road. nobody (except those with 4x4s) could drive up the road this morning as we all had to take other routes, that were only slightly beta. i wonder why what was meant for good so easily changed to bad. |
Thanks for all the welcome. makes me feel like a part of one big happy family. this kind camaraderie we suppose translate am to the real world. @overstaying relatives, still waiting for the reply of the house, |
@all, nice thread you got going here. not seen a thread this cordial in along while. waited to finish reading all 21 pages before posting a comment. moved to Obawole area end of march this year and it has just been okay. guess that makes me a not-too-close neighbour of axeman and kingboy. had to look for a place after staying at ojota for 26 years, and the search was horrible. tyring to balance cost, nice apartment, good amenities was a long thing. agents dont make it any easier. saw so may shitholes that go for houses that i begin to wonder if agents have hearts, or if they live in refuse dumps. anyway, obawole is okay, access roads are bad (i.e. powerline road, d road from haruna and old akute road). light used to be regular between midnight and 6.00 am until some of d withes got tired of icey's and masky's transformer and invaded the my house has a borehole and an underground reservoir but last week after the heavy rains of the week before, the planks supporting the water-tank gave way and we have been without water flowing in the house for five days. at least the water in the reservoir comes to the rescue. unfortunately i don't know what our landlady is doing about it as i have had to be closing late from work and we can't be discussing such matters early momo. should have house-searched in the rainy season, as just realized that water comes into the house through the kitchen door. have not had time to find a solution to that though. security is good, just the neighbor upstairs and the landlady's family in the duplex in-front. everybody's got a key to the gate so can come in and go out anytime. street's got a gate that closes from 12.00 - 5.00 am and that is a problem as i have had to get home between 12.30 - 1.00 am on some number of occasions. i should get to enjoy the house a little more, if only the job would permit me to close at the hours sane people do. glad to be a part of WTMH! |
