A vendor has given a quote based on 340 sqm, but i believe based on my own calculations it should be in the 260-270 sqm range.

The key consideration should have been the total area of the building but these days, we subject this decision to choice. The house owner gets to choose how high he wants his roof to look. While some people are not too comfortable in a high roof building, others are not comfortable except the roof is high enough to be seen in the next village. And yes, a high roof will raise the total roofing cost.

Have you used EPS parapet? I am also trying to decide between concrete and EPS parapet/fascia!

I am still on the polystyrene fascia
I will be highlighting all the important things or activity to carried out for those that will like to use this method for their future work.

Polystyrene comes in three meters each apart from the ridge or Valley. All other part comes in three meters.

Polystyrene is measured in linear meters and not per meter square.

Polystyrene can be bought in standard size of 450mm x 450mm or 300mm x 300mm. It can also be made on special order.

The 450mm x 450mm goes for around N4,500
While 300mm x 300mm is sold for N2600

The polystyrene also comes with a special cement used to join the point of contact between polystyrene.

Sir, do you have an idea of the current prices now? is the price quoted above for the 3 m standard lenght or in linear metres?

As a water Logged Area, you cannot dig and do brick Works for the Spetic Tank, as water will now allow for that to happen successfully. So as a result, you have to cast the size of the tank and sink it into the Ground. Kindly check page 4 and 5 as it sheds more light on how it was done

I saw how it was casted on the ground, and i get why you have to do it like that. ITs the process of sinking that i wnat to know how it was done. Was it sinking by its own weight or you found a way to excavate under it?

A quick question, considering that the soil seems well settled and good, why using up to 5 coaches for the foundation?

Have you changed the cooling fluid to a 50/50 mixture of coolant and water as earlier advised?

If you have only water in your radiator, it is likely to boil and be reducing as engines have their optimum temperature in the 90 - 120 degrees range.

So check that first and compare your new radiator cap (or is it coolant reservoir cap) with another vehicle of the same brand.

Siena: The tyre sizes you've chosen are fine. Of course, you can go up a rim size to 15". So 205/60x15.

The undercarriage of my car gets scratched by the bad roads too much and i am presently thinking of increasing the ground clearance of the car. Options i beleive include changing the tyres to one of a bigger size or increasing the rim size. i presently use P185/65 R14 tyres and the manufacturer recommended tyre specifications are P175/65 SR14 and P185/65 SR14.
