Since SSC is only applicable in the Army the HTACOS of RC is same for SSC since SSC becomes RC after some time.
So we SSC folks can make use of the HTACOS meant for the RC.

In 2016 I told the technical leader of my church about my ambition, little did i know he had a cybercafe where he had help registered a friend who eventually scaled through short service combatant and got commissioned, as at 2016 that his friend had become a lieutenant. he gave me the number of the fellow and I called him, the fellow happened to be of same tribe with me.
Guess what? he asked of my name that same night, the next day list was released with my name on it though I didn't scale through the interview.

Yes the officer must hail from your state. It may not be an officer. It could be your LG Chairman or LG Secretary or any public servant beyond level 13 or so.

Dont go and write this kind of English in your SSC exam o when time comes.
It is "All other things being equal" not "All things being equal".

(1) On speculation of 5 candidates making it at final stage; is it successful 5 per state or general 5 to b commissioned?
(2) Any sure idea on d total number of officers to be commissioned at the end of the selection and training process??

The fact is that, last time 50 candidates were picked per Geo political zone..
On average each state has about 8 candidates.

The number increased when they got to camp only because SSC always leave room for Foreign country to bring their cadets too to participate.

Since the Army started doing the SSC/DSSC recruitment every 2years, the final list increased from 5 per state to 50 per Geopolitical zones and that's about 8 per state.

According to those who passed out last year they did not expel anybody during training, either on health or otherwise.

I thought no two arms of the military can release form simultaneously, one must wait for the other to end application before it will kick start it's own.
To this end, I doubt if the form will be released this month since Navy DSSC will expire 30th of March.

Just my thought though.

Back in 2016 Army and Airforce recruitment were almost concurrent.
A friend of mine left Airforce DSSC interview this week, the following week or so he was shortlisted for Army interview.
In the end, he was taken for final list Batch B in Air force. His name also came out with the Army.

The form should be out tomorrow or Friday very likely.

Guy don't let no one tell you otherwise. If you dream to be in the military, go for it!

But right now your focus should be how you gonna graduate with good result.
Try as much as possible to graduate with 2:1 then you will have good chance of joining the Navy or the Army.

Good day all, I have been following this thread closely and feel at this point I have to say one or two things, we are all graduates or soon to be graduates so we should be both logical and ethical.
