Yes, venuezuela is similar to Nigeria, and its a good country to study.

But for Haiti, i dont think its an appropriate country to use.

Same as Nigeria, except in the productivity sector...we are better than Venezuela.

Venezuela's economic collapse can be attributed to a combination of factors, including:

Dependence on Oil: Venezuela's economy heavily relied on oil exports for revenue. When oil prices dropped significantly, it severely impacted the country's income.

Mismanagement and Corruption: The Venezuelan government, under President Hugo Chávez and his successor Nicolás Maduro, implemented policies that were often populist but unsustainable in the long term. These policies included heavy government spending, price controls, nationalizations, and currency manipulation. Mismanagement and corruption exacerbated economic problems.

Hyperinflation: Venezuela experienced hyperinflation, with prices skyrocketing at an alarming rate. This eroded people's purchasing power, leading to widespread poverty and hardship.

Fiscal Deficits: The government consistently ran fiscal deficits, leading to high levels of debt. Instead of addressing structural issues, the government resorted to printing money, exacerbating inflation.

Decline in Productivity: Productivity in non-oil sectors declined due to lack of investment, inefficient government policies, and expropriations. This further weakened the economy's ability to diversify and generate revenue beyond oil.

Political Instability: Political instability and polarization also played a role in Venezuela's economic collapse. The government's authoritarian tendencies, human rights abuses, and repression of dissent led to international isolation and sanctions, further complicating economic recovery efforts.

These factors, among others, contributed to Venezuela's economic collapse, resulting in severe shortages of food, medicine, and basic goods, mass emigration, and a humanitarian crisis.

smiley I believe you are right, the 24 elders, are the combination and unification of the twelve tribes of Israel and the Twelve apostles of Jesus Christ.

I want to be there in that throne room, when the 24 elders have taken their seats. smiley

Religion / Re: Valentine: True Love Could Only Be Found In God (Pic) by SeriouslySense(m): 9:40am On Feb 18
God is love, we do not fully comprehend or understand the mystery of God.

Let me say this, when Jesus comes in those clouds, and when we are taken away and when we see him, we are transformed.

The mystery of God was hidden and is being revealed. Amen.

Then this flesh will put on the immortal and the incorruptible, glory to Jesus.

I put a lot of effort to go to church because of reluctance, and i wont waste time in some churchs, where there is drama, politics, and business ventures.

JEsus is real, God is true. Important thing is to know God and accept his salvation. If i die today or if Jesus comes in the cloud, i hope for salavtion and its assuring

Bahamas95:
I stopped going because I noticed the church is littered with hypocrites, pagans are even better than most christians. Another thing is the politics going on in most churches, I am hot tempered so I avoid places I would meet toxic people because I won't hesitate to punch if provoked.

The only time I manage to go is during family thanksgiving or when I am invited to baby dedication.

I was at a neighbor's baby dedication sometime ago and the lady was sharing her testimony. I heard three ladies behind me gossiping her, I was surprised and angry at the same time. I couldn't take it any longer and turned angrily to see their ugly faces.....they were shocked and kept quiet immediately after seeing my red eyes. If not for the fear of God I would have done something terrible in that church that day.
Health / Re: Here Is Why Nigeria Is Experiencing Such Extreme Heat These Days by SeriouslySense(m): 9:52am On Feb 16
Count it as a blessing, with that cold you will sleep very well, i prefer extreme cold than extreme heat with humidity.

And if one sleeps well, the overall health benefits.

MrBrighto:

Here in Kaduna, I can't sleep at night without covering myself with sheet..
Although the cold was so bad during the harmattan. The humidity was so low that I get shocked just by stepping on tiles barefooted, never seen anything like it....
Health / Re: Here Is Why Nigeria Is Experiencing Such Extreme Heat These Days by SeriouslySense(m): 9:32am On Feb 16
Kaduna had been cool, i was checking, infact, the temperatures dropped to 16 degrees before at night at its coolest.

But the temperatures are rising in all places now. Jos is alway the coolest, maximum is 30, minimum is 16. there was a time around January the lowest temperature in Jos was 9C

MrBrighto:
I'm surprised people are complaining of too much heat.

Here in Kaduna, the heat is minimal, just normal room temperature
Health / Re: Here Is Why Nigeria Is Experiencing Such Extreme Heat These Days by SeriouslySense(m): 9:24am On Feb 16
I thought its only me that notice it, they always use concrete for the flooring and they think its enjoyment, not place for vegetation.

TheTravelingOne:
I been saying this. I never understand why in Lagos, they cut down beautiful trees to build houses and surround the house with all concrete. It’s the silliest shxt and it’s ugly. I like to have greenery around me, it’s calming looking out at trees and it makes the environment cooler and air freshener.
The attitude here is only the rich in Ikoyi, banana island deserve trees in their surroundings.
So weird.

That is the advantage of Jos.

High humiidy makes heat more deadly, i wonder how they survive in some southern states. Temperatures are already reaching 40 C with high humidity, if there is no wind, that is the true hell for suffocation.

I'm telling you. I have sweater and socks on right now.

Akamu and moimoi.

GIven the rate of inflation and if it becomes perpetual and faithful.

At the maximum this inflation will be one dollar per 2500 naira at the end of the year.

At the minimum it should be at 2000 naira per dollar.
