NYSC / Re: Chaos At NYSC Abuja Camp: Alleged Assault By Commandant On Corps Members by SeriouslySense(m): 4:39pm On Dec 14, 2023
and hurled stones at him

Rebuker:
Chaos at the NYSC Abuja Camp as the Camp Commandant Allegedly Assaults Corps Members

According to an eyewitness, during the regular camp lectures, some corps members would still be at the Miami market, hoping to proceed directly to the lectures from there.

Typically, at this hour, there's a rush, with some attempting to leave promptly to avoid being caught by the military and facing punishment.

While trying to pay for his meal and leave, a corps member was confronted by the camp commandant, who began assaulting him. Without allowing the corps member to explain, Commander Timiware swiftly slapped him and hurled stones at him .

A camp market seller also fell victim to the soldier's aggression. According to the market seller, she was slapped for allowing the corps member to sit under her tent.

In reaction to this unbearable brutality, corps members left their hostels and staged a serious protest, vacating their accommodations en masse.

A worried corps member at the Abuja orientation camp disclosed that military personnel have persistently been involved in physically harming corps members, a clear breach of the rules outlined by the NYSC. These regulations explicitly forbid any military officer from subjecting corps members to physical punishment during their 21-day stay in the camp.

That was the reson for adding community, as in the people.

We cannot wait for wealthy individuals or a determined individuals, the community itself should seek to upgrade itself, within it means which can be effective, if intelligently applied.

The know how to progress should be built into the community as a people, not just dreaming about one super individual who knows how to put things together. shocked shocked

Yes through the death of the body of Jesus, JEsus has removed the distinction and we are all the same in him, this is what the grace of God has done, but the grace of God will end after the church age, and then it becomes work based, they have to pay for salvation by believing and paying with their bloods.

Who told you this silly story. It is not taught so in scripture.

God is fair, do you know what God has done, he will make us one with him while the JEws will remian after the rapture they will be the earthly kingdom, while we are in heaven. When we see JEsus, we will become like that ressurected body, with strenght and that glorious form. God hide these things from the devil, if the devil knew, then he would not let them to kill Jesus.

If you knew what God has done smiley

Yes, that was God punishing them because the times of the gentiles began, it happened after 40 years from Jesus Ascension to Glory.

It is written they denied Their Messiah the Messiah and our Messiah , because God blind their hearts, so that the gentiles might be saved, and the same way HE blinded their eyes, he is able to blind the eyes of the gentiles, so that the JEws may be saved, which will happen in the last days, after the church has been raptured.

So God is fair, and as he says, he willl show mercy to whom he choose to show mercy to, and as it says, we are choosen before the world was created.

And that's why they reject Jesus as the messiah up till today, ko?

cheesy, it is and it is not. And you know the people, our character is dangerous. Bank gives loan, or a group of people can give loan, not an individual.

In some communities, they come together because they are smart and give loan to who needs it, its safer that way, not an individual, but if there is great trust then an individual can do that, and if it will not disturb their peace of mind.

its not the amount of money that counts, its trust and value system, which nigerians lack, they are mostly crime prone.

Therefore, trust is more important than amount. Even what is a huge amount is relative. The damage to trust, can lead to more costlier effect in human nature.

Horror

“I have lost my kidney, I have no money or job, and I no longer have the strength to do any strenuous work,” he told our reporter on a Thursday morning in September. “I just thought I should end it,” he said of his earlier suicidal thoughts.

Aminu’s cousin, Abbas had sold his kidney for N1.2m last year, the highest anyone among his peers had received for their kidney. He was lured by two of his friends, Abdulrahman and Habib; two brothers who have equally sold a kidney each. But beyond that, the two brothers are part of an unknown number of local kidney agents recruited by a Lagos-based kidney broker. Their job was to target and lure young boys and youths from low economic backgrounds to sell their kidneys.

Alliance Hospital accused of harvesting kidneys of 3 minors

In August 2023, Daily Trust published how Oluwatobi Adedoyin, a 16-year-old son of a mechanic from Masaka in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State was lured by his friend, Yellow to sell his kidney. Oluwatobi was paid N1m in three installments, after which he was forced to flee Abuja.

Findings by Daily Trust on Sunday revealed that in November 2022, a video of a young man accusing Alliance Hospital in Abuja of harvesting his 17-year-old brother’s kidney went viral. In the video, the young man accused the hospital of lack of due diligence before the surgery. The management of the hospital had in a press conference denied the allegation, saying the ‘donor’ had signed a consent form and presented a court affidavit to show he was above 18 years.

Dr Otabor had in August told this newspaper that the hospital took care of the legal angle, insinuating that ‘donors’ are expected to present affidavits and sign a consent form before the surgery.

Why is he asking for such a big loan. from one person, its not balanced.

And apart from monetary value, what is the value of their family associations, is it only when it comes to money demands then he remembers he has a brother or uncle.

if everything is weighted properly, some things are not worth it. If there is no real value in family associations, then what is the essense of it.

There are other important values

1) trust
2) respect
3) Boundaries
4) Knowledge Sharing
5) Good Advise
6) Physical assistance
7) Watching for the good of everyone, and which ususally leads to discussions and advise.

That is sad, and family is not mearnt to give someone headache, and not suppose to disturb the peace with money demands.

They should be helpful, they could have come to support you when you need more support, for your business, not demand demand demand.

It is a sick mentality.

Some people only know their familiy when they are wealthy or doing something. That is when they know they have family. Which is centered around money demands, its such a sick culture.

ussv:

It`s never a good idea to loan money to family members, most times, it does not bring good outcome. Reduce the amount and ask him to support you in a business venture you are trying to undertake; he might assist you. I had a thriving mobile phone business before, family and friends brought it down. Most of them bought credit and refused to pay. Some of my close family will just show up in my shop and demand for cash. My salesgirl will just call me and say, "Oga , your sister is here, or your brother is here, he is asking for transport etc. " My business was ruined because of that. My brother, familiarity breeds contempt. I don learn my lesson.
