Does not make them duller than anyone, does not make you better than anyone, let them watch what they want to watch, as long as it keeps them engaged and sane. We should have empathy, if we claim we are highly intelligent cool smiley

I personally love people that think like that, makes things more interesting not too monotonic, claiming to be so wise and intelligent and the country is going down grin grin

Achoghim:
It’s adults with very low IQ that binge watch cartoons, because it is known to suppress reality. My uni roommate was a fan of Japanese animes and he’d always annoy me with the way he brings in imaginary situations into serious discussions.

You better leave her to watch her cartoons, she is doing others things well, so what is your problem. grin grin

She is happy to watch cartoons, please dont take the only thing that seem to make her occupied and happy.

She is employed and does her work well.

She does her duties as a woman at home, so what more do you want, is she a slave, let her watch the cartoons, lo cool cool cool

According to the man, something must be wrong with his wife. While admitting that she has not failed in her roles as a wife and mother to his kids, he reiterated his worry that he felt she should have grown past cartoons.

Kindly note that, she’s fully employed and still does her duties as a wife and a mother. I don’t have any problem on that side, I just feel she’s addicted to animated movies when actually, she has grown pass it.

DyshApp:
A married man has anonymously taken to social media to complain about his wife’s addiction to watching cartoons with their children.

According to him, his wife was always excited to watch and sing along to the cartoon with their kids and she would narrate the stories to them if they missed them.

According to the man, something must be wrong with his wife. While admitting that she has not failed in her roles as a wife and mother to his kids, he reiterated his worry that he felt she should have grown past cartoons.

He appealed for help to fix the cartoon problem.

In his words:
"I feel like something is wrong, I don't really get her sometimes. She doesn't even watch the movies I want us to watch together unless I really encourage her. She acts like me not watching those their cartoons with them, I'm missing out on something great.

“My wife, 37 years old, enjoys watching cartoon even more than our kids. When I say cartoon, I mean animated movies.
Our first boy is 14 years old down to our last who is currently 4 years old.
They’ve turned the home into a cartoon home.
They are soo addicted, they sing their songs, do their dances and discuss those things all the time.

My wife at her age will be running as if something strange was happening and she forgets herself to be an adult sometimes.
I’ve tried to explain to her that I don’t really like it, I don’t complain because they are being happy but, I don’t understand my wife’s addiction. Even when the kids aren’t around, she’ll be watching animated movies alone.

Once they get home, she’s going to narrate all she watched to them and even demonstrate with actions some funny/emotional scenes.
I feel like something is wrong, I don’t really get her sometimes. She doesn’t even watch the movies I want us to watch together unless I really encourage her. She acts like me not watching those their cartoons with them, I’m missing out on something great.
Is there something I can do to help her? It’s somehow bothering me.

Kindly note that, she’s fully employed and still does her duties as a wife and a mother. I don’t have any problem on that side, I just feel she’s addicted to animated movies when actually, she has grown pass it.”

Car Talk / Re: What Event Motivates You To Learn How To Drive? by SeriouslySense(m): 3:31pm On Dec 07, 2023
I observed how people drive, and I also went to driving school, but still had fear in me, but when i had the oppurtunity to drive on a free road, with no teacher to scare me, and without other cars, that would make me worry about driving, i was able to learn how to reverse and drive without fear after concentrating on how the car works.

Automatic makes it so easy, and if not for our poor roads, there are self driving cars now. People with self driving cars are amazed how artificial intelligence can take over. smiley smiley cool

There is serious serious suffering in the land, they should speak kindly about it and sensibly, there should be more food production, and insecurity has to be tackled so farmers can grow food freely, now is the time to tackle insecurity before the next rainy season.

Prizes of commodities have gone up in some cases by 900 percent, hah this economy has to be addressed urgently.

No foreign investor will invest in an unstable and insecure place.

Religion / Re: What Does It Mean To Know God? John 17.3 by SeriouslySense(m): 1:04pm On Dec 03, 2023
To know God and to know the one he sent, Jesus Chirst, is eternal Life, and how is that. By knowing that JEsus is God who became flesh and took our sin away, that we may have life, and to know God by having a relationship with God, by creating time for God to study his word, to speak to him based on his word, to understand his precept and to accept his salvation.

First we believe becaue we heard and we speak acceptance of his salvation and then we live by abidding in his word.

We also received his Holy Spirit, who seals us, and garantees our eternal salvation.

If you abide in his word, then you know the promises, on the last day, Jesus will give eternal life to those who believed in him, because we have been purchased by his blood and sealed by his Spirit.

tctrills:
In the book of John 17.3, we learn, And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

If eternal life is the knowledge of God and Jesus Christ, then what does it mean to know God.

Do you know God from reading your Bible?
Do you know God by being a Christian?
How does one get to know God?

Same Britain has lost its identity, and is overan with migrants. other religions are allowed to pray in Britain, do you think Britain is really smart as it thinks.

For the sake of money and proving its an intelligent / balanced entity, it has lost its greatness and what it was.

Rather to remain relevant, it must be at the forefront of climate justice. grin grin grin

Today, violent migrants with unresolved issues from their countries, will make it unbalanced, dull and poorer cool cool

That is the fastest solution, serioulsy he should get back to his studies as soon as possible.

CosmicDust:

Try and stop staying in the hostel. Get an accomodation off campus. Try not to fight back. Cultism is too entrenched in our institutions and many of your bullies might be members.
Education / Re: I am being bullied in my school what should I do? by SeriouslySense(m): 11:38am On Dec 02, 2023
The lazy bulier also know their target, they know who is soft. And Even a soft target can become scary, if he or she will look them in the eyes as described.

jrusky:
Bulliers are cowards and are mostly very lazy. Young man pick up yourself and see beyond bulliers by summon courage to look at them by face and stand your ground pls look at them by face eye to eye without moving your head belief me they will be asking themselves what happen dis guy don give dey get liver oo? dey will shift a bit believing you have a back up.

OR
Hit the gym grow few pounds of flesh anytime you see any of them by chance face him but do not attack unless he try to, stand on his face and look at him straight by eye ball ready fir the worst I swear her will shift. Naturally bulliers are idiot and coward.

OR
Get some weapon constantly in your body there over 100 hidden weapons that can destroy at a swing. If you need 2 or 3 of those weapons quote me and I will tell you, just one swing if na face it hit him he will get man-made tribal mark forever next time he will keep off.

Never make mistake to beg a bulier if you do you are finish because he won't stop doing it infact he will do it more....

Someone who tried it with me when I was in Military Command Secondary School duing my secondary school day still nursing the scar on his face till date.

I just recall a case of bullying in the school, where the 12 year old died but before dying he was in great pains and in tears as he laid on his bed for about two days. His mother was in deep anguish, as she lamented seeing her son in pain, helpless and there was nothign she could do to reduce his pain or comfort him.

May his soul rest in peace.

Education / Re: I am being bullied in my school what should I do? by SeriouslySense(m): 11:04am On Dec 02, 2023
Dont let any animal tell you what you deserve and dont deserve.

Its time you gain back your confidence, but focus on your study, and get the pc repaired or an alternative, and you must not give ground to those animals, you have to put them in their proper context both physically and mentally, but be wise, and dont attract too mucjh attention to yourself in such a toxic atmosphere, who knows they are looking for who to gang on, and if they attacked you all at once it could be fatal.

rockok:

A polytechnic. By mainly fellow students in the hostel and around the campus for my looks and that such kind of looks doesn't deserve to get what I want. This is the worst kind of bullying I have ever received. It has reduced my confidence and my ability to study. I used to be a programmer but they eventually spoilt my PC I believe. And you know I need to be okay to work with a PC especially Since I was interested in Algorithms and problem solving. I am not the same person I was before. This is the worst academic environment ever. I just wish I could leave and find my true self again
Education / Re: I am being bullied in my school what should I do? by SeriouslySense(m): 10:45am On Dec 02, 2023
If you have never confronted your bullies before please leave that place, before your parents hear, you were stabbed or something else.

Can you estimate their strength and the appropriate response and other options if it gets out of hand, just be safe in these nigerian polytechnics cool

Who are bullying you, a group or gangs or cultists. OR just some random animals.

First thing first your safety, gauge your opponents and understand what is appropriate for your bullies.
Education / Re: I am being bullied in my school what should I do? by SeriouslySense(m): 10:38am On Dec 02, 2023
Although you are right, but his studies should be his highest priority.

AT the university or polytechnic level, there is no time for drama like secondary school, he has to be smart with time also.

Those clowns have found entertainment.

Juniorangel:
If you don't face your bullies now when are you going to face them or are they not human being. Bullies are everywhere in this life not only in schools learn to face them squarely and watch your life improve, or run away from them and continue running your whole life.
Education / Re: I am being bullied in my school what should I do? by SeriouslySense(m): 10:35am On Dec 02, 2023
Maybe you look like an Ajebuta. The fastest solution to your problem is to stay off campus, and reduce your friends. Only let people who respect you close to you.

They wont stop, they will keep coming like flies.
