I think you need to ask the Holy Spirit to teach you the application of scriptures. Now how come God still used scriptures and passages in the old testament to call people into ministry. Common read those passages again and ask to see the relevance.

My brother its so clear you have not been able to understand the relevance of the old testament practices to the new testament. The sabath rest today is the rest Jesus brought to us through His salvation. Even you could not understand why covid 19 came on board. powerful president in the world were crying. But God can not and will never be caught unawares. God owns the earth. Everything and anything that will happen will work to fulfill His cause for the earth.

Covid 19 emergence gave that opportunity for reflection and for us to go back to God and check our lives. The physical temples were closed yet worship of God could not stop. A lesson fro people like you who may think you will only worship Him in the physical temple.

So if you fail to agree with my discovery that covid 19 manifested and will also fulfill God's cause for the earth. Please can you tell me what God has told you about the situation. Or you did not make attempt to ask my dear brother.

Paul was inspired to give the rules for Christian husbands discussed below.

I want you to look at it below:

“And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands love your wives and do not be bitter toward them. Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is well-pleasing to the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.” (Colossians 3:17-21).

Since this is a post for Christian Husbands, I believe we should be concerned with verses 19 and 21 of the passage above.

Rules for Christian husbands 1: Love your wife
Let us look at verse 19:

“Husbands love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.”

A basic instruction from God to Christian husbands is that they must love their wives. I discovered in my early years in a marriage that the devil will always want you to do something different from this. This is the reason why he will always make you think that you have married the wrong woman especially when you have issues in the home or marriage.

The devil will always make you remember everything she did wrong to you. It can even get to the stage that you begin to hate the presence or the sight of your wife. Some men will take it to an extent where they don’t want to have sexual relationships with their wives again or when they do it, they don’t do it with passion and love.

Women can quickly notice it when men are not having sex with them with passion and the love that is required. This can create lots of tension in the home. Sometimes, these happenings are a result of demonic manipulation and attack on a home to stop you from obeying the instruction of the Lord to you to love your wife.

The devil knows that there are consequences if you don’t obey the Word of God. This is the reason why things go wrong with your work, goals, and investments and finances.

What to do
The Spirit of God taught me a solution to this many years ago. You will always love your wife if you always position yourself to receive the love of God for you. You can only give what you have. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son” (John 3:16). God first loved us so that we can have the capacity to love others starting from our wives.

After this foundational love has been given to us and we have become born again Christians, we need to position ourselves to consistently understand and receive this love from God. This way we can always have the capacity to love our wives even when they do something wrong. Even when we correct them, we will do it in love.

You can always understand and receive the love of God if you are always studying the Word of God with the help of the Holy Spirit. Many years ago, I discovered if I had a problem with my wife before going to bed at night and after I wake up in the middle of the night to pray and study the Word of God, by morning the pains and bitterness resulting from the quarrel must have disappeared.

No Christian husband can truly love his wife effectively according to the Word of God if he is not having a good relationship with the Holy Spirit and studying the Word of God consistently. Remember that you can’t give what you don’t have. You first receive love from God, then you are able to give it to your wife accordingly.

2. Pick the first passage and read it to yourself. You can have other versions of the bible with you. You can also read commentaries (if there are any on that passage in that bible).
3. Think over the meanings the passage is trying to pass across to you. Think deeply so that you can grab a full understanding of what the passage is all about.
4. Write on a jotter what comes to your mind as actions you must take to obey the scriptures you have read. Please write freely.
5. Pray to God to help you take these actions. Please pray vigorously and sincerely. At this stage, the length of time of your prayer session does not matter; just talk to God from a sincere heart.
6. Pray against every work of darkness or the devil that may want to prevent you from achieving these Godly aims.
7. You can repeat these same steps on this first passage for more days.
8. Go over to bible passage 2, 3, 4, 5, and carry out steps 1-7.

Please ensure you compel yourself to act out what you have written down. Nothing will work if you don’t rise to do your decisions even if you have the whole of heaven backing you!

Events after covid-19 is my business here today. I  believe Christians should begin to think about events after covid-19 now. Many countries all over the world are already relaxing lockdowns in their countries.

Some sporting events have returned and some have been scheduled to return soon. This goes to confirm what some of us believe would happen some months ago when the heat was high with the coronavirus situation all over the world.

This post is focusing on what will begin to happen after the Sabbath rest (after covid-19 is over). I'm presenting you with inspirations I have received from the Holy Spirit through the Word of God in the Bible on this topic.

The business or economic angle of events after coronavirus

This post will relate more to your business, finances, and economic wellbeing. I believe almost every soul on this earth has one thing or two in common with these important topics.

What you should begin to do after the events of covid-19

The following are what you should know and begin to do after the coronavirus event has become history in our world. I want you to read this Bible passage before I write more:

NKJV Bible. Leviticus 25:12-19

[12]For it is the Jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat its produce from the field.
[13]‘In this Year of Jubilee, each of you shall return to his possession.

[14]And if you sell anything to your neighbor or buy from your neighbor’s hand, you shall not oppress one another.

[15]According to the number of years after the Jubilee you shall buy from your neighbor, and according to the number of years of crops he shall sell to you.

[16]According to the multitude of years you shall increase its price, and according to the fewer number of years you shall diminish its price; for he sells to you according to the number of the years of the crops.

[17]Therefore you shall not oppress one another, but you shall fear your God; for I am the Lord your God.

[18]‘So you shall observe My statutes and keep My judgments, and perform them, and you will dwell in the land in safety.

You will only eat from the field. You must work the field. You must do business, solve problems, work hard to eat from the field. See it below:

You must return to your possession. It's necessary that you find out our own God-given area of manifestation or your purpose. That's the area where you have the grace and passion. Areas where you can use your gifts appropriately. See it below: [13]‘In this Year of Jubilee, each of you shall return to his possession.
You must be involved in selling and you must not be involved in cheating anyone. Honest business is required of you. The Lord approves of selling as a way of becoming prosperous after covid-19. Selling involves selling products and services or selling your skills to employers. See it below [14]And if you sell anything to your neighbor or buy from your neighbor’s hand, you shall not oppress one another.

I grew up as the first child in a family of eight comprising of my dad, mum, and my beautiful sisters in the former capital city of Nigeria – Lagos State. My father worked with the Federal Government for so many years until he retired. My mother on her part was for the most part of the period we (the children) were growing up, a petty trader.

We struggled through school as the people in my country were hit severely by the effect of the Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP) introduced by the then military administration. The family depended solely on my father’s monthly income and the little income from mother’s petty trading.

Served With An Eviction Notice
A combination of improper administration of the nation’s resources and economic recession made my father’s monthly income to become irregular. This development badly affected the family and we found it difficult to feed ourselves. Paying the accommodation fees became very impossible and the owners of the property served us with a “pack out” notice.

Things were very tough. My father and mother ran to friends and relatives for help, which came. The accommodation fees and some other debts were settled. This was to be a temporary relief as the worst was yet to come!

A year after my High School (Secondary school) education, my father was retired and gratuity and pensions were not forthcoming from the government. The same old problem reared its head again. Feeding became very difficult and we were served with another “pack out” notice. We finally relocated to cheaper accommodation on the outskirts of the state where all the necessities of life – electricity, pipe-borne water were missing. Help was no longer coming forth from anybody.

Pains of Godless Living
We were left to “enjoy” the pains of our God-less living. My dad took to farming, mother continued her petty trading, and I gained admission into a higher institution. It was during my time in the higher institution that I began to look at the way we have lived our lives all this while. I began to see in my “inner mind” how real success has eluded us because we chose to put our trust in men – the government, friends, and relatives.

We never had a relationship with God and we really struggled. My lovely and ever-caring dad and mum worked very hard but I realized hard work alone could not bring success.

If they are not from credible sources don't take them serious until verified. If they are from popular people, note the people down but verify their claims. Don't trust people who want you destroyed (if you know what I mean). Trust in GOD alone!
