SHU does not require pof for cas processing. Once you have unconditional offer, pay 1k pounds and do pre cas interview

Visa Application 16th August

Biometrics 23rd August (Priority service and walk on paid on this date, though I had appointment but was cancelled)

NSF mail on 26th August

No interview, no paid calls and mails

Collection mail 6th September

Passport delivered 8th September.

I want to appreciate everyone here for your words of encouragement and advice.

I think it is still possible to upgrade when doing biometrics.

You can only pay for Priority via the TLS Portal and not at the VAC. I believe you can still do so but you may lose your current appointment date.

Good morning guys, I just applied for visa last night through an agent and I double checked before he submitted. Paid for ihs, visa fee and tls V I service charge. I expected him to opt for priority service but he told me he has opted for standard.
Is it possible to still go pay for priority service this morning ?

Yeah, balance of school fees maintenance and one more thing I talked about employability rate which I have range of % when I wasn’t sure.The interviewer told me I’m supposed to give the actual percentage which I later told him.
But relatively there’s no big deal with the interview..Majority of the answers to the questions is on the school website.

Know all your course modules, why you choose Sheffield hallam Uni and what you know about Sheffield City, about accommodation- where you plan to stay, how much it cost and how far away it is from the Uni, whether you wanna work in the UK, what you presently do and how much you earn, why you choose your course and how it's related to your previous course of study, if you have dependants coming with you and what they plan to do in the uk, closest airport to Sheffield and how far it is to Sheffield, Organisations you plan to work for after completion of your studies. These are the much I can remember. Nothing much really, twas Conducted by 1 interviewer via skype.

Placement is also known as internship (to the best of my knowledge).

The O&A rates are used by the VO while checking the application but due to the exchange rate fluctuations, I advice you save at 650 naira to a pound. Gives some room for the rise & fall.

I did my pre_CAS interview yesterday with Sheffield Hallam university, I guessed it went well because the interviewer said he was impressed but just pointed to two points and told me what I’m expected to say. He promised to send a positive feedback because he was impressed with my answers that I really made my research about the course and school but he said it depends on the international admissions to decided whether or not to issue the CAS.Finger crossed because I’m nervous..

My transcript has no issues of such and since they said it would be accepted in the interim. Then no wahala with that

I called the Nigerian rep for SHU and they asked to forward educational documents and CV which I have done. I called later to follow up and he mentioned that my transcript doesn't have a logo but it will be accepted in the interim. Please has anyone else experienced this? And is the logo issue an obstacle?

How long? It depends on your time of appointment, if you have 7:30 as your appointment time, you should be done by 12 noon but if 8:30 upward be prepared to leave by 2pm depending on number though

I went there around 10am , didn’t finish the whole process until about 1:30 pm and I was asked to wait for 2 hours to get the certificate. So I didn’t leave until about 4pm

I forgot to use my intl password number as reference in the payment. I hope this won't raise issue?
