You are right because have read it in previous post where people said they have 10% or so increase in signal quality but my own is not like that o , instead it is fluctuation , i dont have pc so someone help me to download it and the upgrading , pls any one willing to assist me should contact me on my email so that we we can make phone contact and if save here u can drop your phone number am in abeokuta

Pls i upgrade my 4922A With latest software but am now expriencing signal fluctuation , i test the signal quality with another decoder which is 4669z and there is no fluctuation , what do i do . I have 2 in one setup for multtv and 36E , the signal is very bad on multitv , i have 75 on 36E BUT usually fluctuating btw 75 and 30 thereby disrupting viewing enjoyment and on multi tv is btw 90 and 30 , pls help me on what to do

odilibe: Old Strong receivers normally and automatically shuts itself down to prevent damage...when two terminals of the coaxial cable joins together....if that happens you need to use the on/off switch at back panel of the receiver switch it off and put it on again ,the receiver will start to function again..but in this case the receiver didn't shut down itself or have they started using cheap hardware

i think so and if you allow the box to be in that condition more necessary it will damage the box , so anytime anybody see lnbf been display on the decoder , it should be off immediately and check the coaxial cable , the center hard core has touch the outer mesh

roman001: not free,its biss coded.it doesnt wrk on all decoders except urs is biss enabled.

Yomkris: Two days ago When i was away 4rm home, My 4669xii forcefully upgraded its sw from 1.0 to 3.0 dat doesnt have option menu.. I tried to track anoda satelite today all i got on d display of my box was LNBF. It cudnt respond to remote.but if i remove d lnb cable and on it. It alws work normaly wit remote.. Pls dear gurus what can i do with dis lnbf of a thing.

i hope this has not damage your decoder , what happen is that you have allow the positive and negative terminal of the coaxial cable that supply voltage from the box to diseqc switch to join together somewhere along the line (or to lnbf, if you not using switch )make sure you separate them ,it might probabily be the point where u use connector (check both the point of connection to box n switch and make sure that the hard wire at center didn't touch the flexible outside )

What u need to do is to change your disceq switch , it is weak , it happen to me too , eventhough initially i don't know it is switch that cause it but one day i want to help a friend to track and i didn't remember to buy to buy switch , so i have to remove the one am using to do his own and so when i bought another one to replace my own that problem no longer occur that is i conclude that it is the formal switch that cause no signal when switching from one satellite to another

I use strong 4669z but amos 5 was not on the list of satelite there , i try to insert it but the degree dont change from 0E but the name of the satelite was successfully inserted , pls how do i do it and what does Mytv amos tune cable mean , i want to track Hola tv but net search information i gathered ,Hola tv is on mytv Amos tune cable pls i dont know what it means o . Someone should help

Yomkris: @all, pls i need a detailed tutorial on how to add more than 1 lnb unto a dish. I 've gotten a 3 in 1 diseqc. Pls explain what are the materials to use. My dish already have 1 Lnb.

. You can only add an lnb to multtv to get dstv , place your second lnb above multtv , use disceq position 3 and do the settings on dish installation on your decoder
