Barcelona forward Lionel Messi has hinted for the first time that he could leave the Catalan giants in the near future.
The 27-year-old has long maintained his happiness at Camp Nou and always insisted that he would only move to join boyhood club Newell's in Argentina at the end of his career.
However, the attacker has endured some tough times over the last year in Catalunya due to injuries, a tax fraud case and troubles on the pitch as Barca won only the Supercopa de Espana in 2013-14.
"I'm just living the present," Messi told Argentine sports paper Ole in an interview. "I'm thinking about having a great year at Barcelona and about winning the titles we want to win at Barcelona. Nothing more.
"After that, we'll see. Football has a lot of twists and turns. I always said that I'd like to stay there forever, but things don't always work out as you want them to."
Asked if he would leave due to a personal decision or a club choice, Messi added: "I have said it many times - if it were up to me, I would stay forever. But like I said just now, things don't always turn out how you would like, especially in football, which is so changeable and in which so many things happen.
"It's difficult and more so in these difficult times that Barcelona are going through at the moment."
The Blaugrana have been hit by several scandals off the pitch this year, with the resignation of former president Sandro Rosell back in January, while back-to-back defeats in La Liga (including the Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu last month) have seen Luis Enrique's side overtaken by fierce rivals Real Madrid at the top of the table.
"It's a very big club," Messi said. "And when you lose two games in a row, the problems start and there is criticism from all sides. It's a bit like what happens in the national team.
"A new coach [Luis Enrique] came in with new ideas and that takes time. We have more than enough great players to achieve important things this year, so I'm relaxed. This is just starting - there's a long way to go in La Liga and in the Champions League." According to coded101 and his fellow dumb trolls... MESSI IS UNHAPPY AT BARCELONA |

hensben: of course, one don't expect him to say it directly but that's what his comment is all about...scholes noticed it too...stop living in denial pls lol...anyways, O.Y.O...we re all here when he will transfer to psg next season after man utd fail to qualify for ucl. Why shouldn't he say it directly if he's truly unhappy as you said? Go read the full interview again, this time from a credible source and don't allow bitterness make you bypass the part he said he's "very happy in England". BTW, the question wasn't about unhappy or what he thinks of PSG, it was whether PSG wanted him during the transfer window. |

French Journalists asked Hazard "Would you go to Real Madrid?" He said "Im happy at Chelsea and Chelsea is my dream club". thats someone who truly appreciate the club he plays for. Nothing concerns Hazard here. He didn't say anything about being unhappy at Utd as you claimed. |

hensben: di maria eyeing psg move n wanted to sign for them but due to FFP...man urinated was his last option and they were so desperate to get him..in other words, he is unhappy at old trashford.
read the full story here: http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2014/11/16/6194831/di-maria-psg-move-stopped-by-money-problems?ICID=HP_BN_2...
man urinated will be leeds united in 3 years time. Loool.. i bet dimwits like yourself got erections from that headline. He was interviewed on a French TV, what did you expect him to say? OR were you so blinded by hate that you didn't see where he said he's very happy in England? Manchester United star Angel di Maria has granted an interview to France's Telefoot and the main objective of the French outlet is to get him to say nice things about PSG and French football. Di Maria is very happy to be at Manchester United and he's told Telefoot that, it's something which the player's wife also felt compelled to confirm recently after the inevitable reports that he was unhappy in England.
Reports of unhappiness happen with almost every major signing to the Premier League and whilst it fills column inches and gains many retweets, it's hard to put up a serious argument that the Argentine is anything but happy at Manchester United.
Di Maria made sure he was clear about being happy to sign for Manchester United by saying "I'm very happy in England,"
However, there were plenty of PSG quotes because that was the angle Telefoot were coming from. They quote the player as saying about a proposed move to the French capital "I think there was a money problem. It would have been a great experience but they couldn't buy.
"Many clubs wanted me. Manchester United appeared and never went away in the negotiations."
Telefoot wanted Di Maria to say as much as possible about wanting to play football in France and so asked if it was possible he could play there one day. The Argentina international could hardly say anything other than "Playing for a French club would appeal to many players, I'm still young and in football anything can go very fast."
Those comments have led to Twitter hysteria. Some Manchester United fans are terrified it means the player is already thinking about leaving and opposition supporters are using it to spend their Sunday on the wind-up.
In all reality, Di Maria hasn't said anything remotely controversial or worrying. http://sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/angel-di-maria-quizzed-on-french-tv-twitter-goes-mad |

elampiro: No one has ever argued about CVs here. What we argued is that at this same number of matches, Moyes did better. That argument ended last week. The argument on ground now is Moyes work at Everton. He pulled them out of the gutters into a respectable side. With limited budget.
Coogar and I never argued about Moyes vs Gaal today. You and one other guy brought this up without proper understanding of the argument. Funny you should say that when you posted: "Moyes is just a victim of circumstance. Gaal wouldn't win anything with Ferdi, Evans, Vidic, Evra, Cleverley, Young, Welbeck, Chicharito....How come Gaal sacked all the supposed SAF players if they were really good?
So why were they sold by Gaal?
Like Ferdinand, Chicharito, Cleverley, Zaha, Vidic etc Abegi Confidence! Moyes' crazy man management and silly media comments have reduced player's confidence to nothing. The team was broken needed an overhaul. Even with Di Maria, Blind, Rojo, Herrera etc with Moyes now when the league is even more competitive, y'all will be praying for QPR to drop points so Utd can get off the relegation zone. I never joined the argument, I posted an opinion which you decided to quote. |

elampiro: Without Di Maria, Blind, Shaw, Rojo, Herrera, our first three matches under Gaal were more horrible to watch than what Moyes served us last season. Petty excuse! I see most of you pro-moyes are wishing LvG fails in Utd.. Well, you ain't gonna see that. There's a big difference between Van Gaal's United and Moyes', bar injuries, big name signings, suspensions etc. Moyes is miles away from LvG's level, his CV and youth policy will continue shutting critics. The fact that the board gave SAF the privilege of appointing his successor, who eventually choose his countryman, shows that he wasn't the right man to lead England's best, also shows that there wasn't a proper review by the club. Moyes is just a victim of circumstance. Gaal wouldn't win anything with Ferdi, Evans, Vidic, Evra, Cleverley, Young, Welbeck, Chicharito.... Victim of? May I remind you that those few players you listed won the league before Moyes came? Do you know that Van Gaal used few of those players to win the ICC cup? Those players you label flops who left Utd are all starters in some of the biggest teams in europe. Moyes had players of such calibre and miserably flopped united to 7th. Pls, stop the d!ckriding.. Moyes put the F in failure! |

Why would a United fan claim Moyes ain't a failure? Forget the 7th position ishh, his tactics are horrible, pre/post match comments are terrible. He turned the King of England to a mid-table team. The only positive thing I wish for him is to make top of the relegation zone in Spain.
I wish I can make €5M for being shiit in my job. |
