Please stop attacking the moderator. Moderators are not paid, you know. They deserve your respect and regard for their selfless service.

skfa1: @ Seun: What about the person that insulted someones family first? you left that part.
I assume that the person has already been banned as well. If you have any evidence to the contrary, don't hesitate to present it to me.

Nigerian banks and Nigerian insurance companies. Their finances are too complicated and this makes it easy for them to cover up losses and fraud for many years while appearing profitable to investors. Also, they are too dependent on the Nigerian government; this makes their fortunes dependent on the government's unpredictable policies.

aniiii: hey ladiess!!!!!!! kiss
wassap??

so amongst my friends, I am the only one who hardly touches their eyebrows
I am super sensitive around that area and im scared tha even tweezing will break me out badly
Please advise me on what to do. I love the hairy, bushy look but my friends keep telling me to tweeze them embarassed
can I have some skin regiments on how to avoid breaking out when I
pluck out the bush. Please dont feel offended to call it a bush hahaha my dad is nigerian and i love nigerian jokes kiss
Don't do it. 99% of Nigerian girls look uglier when they mess with their eyebrows. If you look good right now, messing with your eyebrows won't make you look any better. It is painful and will probably make you look like a cancer survivor or a surprised cat. It's not worth it unless you hire a celebrity makeup specialist to shape the outer corners minimally, and even then the improvement will be arguably nonexistent.

Not true. They have met in real life.

gramci: The op new moniker should be banned for calling a moderator a dunce, this an insult which clearly violate one of the rules of NL.
I agree with this.

webdezzi: accidents are prone to happen in a country where products are by default, substandard
In this case, it's likely that the fan has not been serviced for decades. If the fan had been serviced recently, the weak state of its supporting structures would have been noticed.

CyberG: Seun, this thread seems short enough to get your attention. In recent times, some NL moderators (Afam and Ikenna, new mod) in the Politics section have been selectively applying rules only against those who do not convey their position - usually tribal. This is ignoble, seeing how they leave original offensive posts but start hiding the response, why? How does a tree grow from the top and not the root? I remember having to point this out before they eventually did the right thing. If mods do not want people to respond in kind to initial attacks, it is necessary that they be vigilant and nip such cases in the bud before it escalated. Just my 2 cents.
Any evidence to support these serious charges?

I approve of the 15 day ban. Posting a person's pics without permission is a serious offence.
InvestmentRe: Advice On Making Money As An Undergraduate. by Seun(mod): 8:11pm On May 01, 2013
There is nothing that will make money sharp sharp before you graduate without you having to do any work. Investments that can generate money without any work or risk usually have relatively low returns, which makes a lot of sense. If you want to make lots of money, you have to work hard. There is no way around that.

See traffic. Good job, Seun/mods. Fool 'em grin
I am not that kind of "smart businessman". I simply made a lazy mistake. I corrected the mistake after I became aware of it.

I think accidents are more likely to happen in institutions that cannot afford to maintain their equipment and facilities.
