Dude, then Hackers are gods. Flame malware would easily crack a Md5 in a matter of seconds. In fact, Md5 is now considered cryptographically useless. It has loads of Flaws that can be easily attacked by brute force attack. I doubt he was lying when he said he used a software.

While the module called Flame does the brute attack, the Boost module gathers the info, transport module replicates and euphoria leaks the info.

First of all I didn't imply that the card providers are using md5, I only mentioned that they are using a one-way hash which can't be decrypted and I cited md5 as an example of a one-way hash.
There are a lot of encryption technologies, you can even create one yourself which I'm sure is what the ATM card manufacturers do..

So tell me how you expect a hacker to Crack an algorithm he has no idea of? And pin number is not a static variable like CVV2 which cannot be changed. You can always change pin anytime.

If the guy said he has a software that can generate CVV2 (the 3 digit at the back of your card) I may not doubt the possibility, since CVV2 is a permanent variable on a card, there might be an algorithm connecting CVV2 to the card number itself.

But he said he can generate a card PIN which is a dynamic variable that can be changed at anytime by the card owner. An algorithm can only be created on a static variable ( a variable that cannot be changed). If possible how will the software know you've changed your pin? It will have to connect to a service to determine, in this case which service is the software connecting to?

And like I later said, the PIN is stored in the card,
The card is an hardware that can only be read by an hardware not a software.

Despite the high level of impossibility of achieving the said feat, if he had said he used a card reading hardware (like POS) I would've believed a little.

I also once lived in the illusion that MD5 hash can't be reversed, but, I just discovered its a lie. There are several free hash reversal sites/apps online...all you need is just to know the hashing algorithm...and the algorithm can be guessed fairly easily if one is familiar with popular hashing algorithms. Also, PIN is stored on cards, hence, it might not be impossible to get the PIN off the card if he has a card/chip reader

Even those reversal sites don't reverse correctly. One thing the sites/apps do is to randomly guess words and md5 hash them and then compare with the md5 the attacker wants to decrypt.

Also, I just cited md5 as an example of a one-way hash, I know the banks card service providers won't be so stupid to be using a hash known to everyone to encrypt a card pin.

I'm sure the card issuers are using a stronger and private hash that obviously nobody knows / can ever decrypt.

The PIN is stored in the card which is an hardware on its own so the hash will most likely be in bytes code not normal text characters like md5 hash and as such will be difficult to guess or dehash.

I'm perfectly sure it's a one-way hash.

You will also need a card reading hardware like a pos kind of machine to decrypt it not a software like this fake genius thief and ignorant media insinuated, and being a byte code encryption, there's a 99.99% chance that attacker will never get it right except he's a god.

There is no software that can uncover an ATM Card PIN.
What might have happened was that the boss had given him the PIN at a time to help him make withdrawals.

Even if there was a software, what service will it connect to get the pin? Mastercard? Visa? Or where? Even your bank cannot know your pin because it's encrypted right in the card.
And it uses a one-way hash, like md5 (which can only be encrypted on input) and can never be decrypted back.

Moreso if he were to have made an online transaction where only the card CVV2 is required, the online merchant will still send the card owner a confirmation code by SMS of which he doesn't even have the owner's phone at hand.

Again If he's so smart to ever have such software it means he will have a direct connection to a private data storage of Mastercard , Visa and other card providers which in turn means he won't even need to steal cards to get money. !

There are one thousand and one smarter ways to steal electronically without getting caught, he just added that "software" line so everyone will think he's one kind of genius that needs to be explored.

Well, i must say it's a good NOTEBOOK that gives you value for money, good; battery life, resolution, touch screen, RAM and HDD spaces.
However the superior corei5 version already floods the market.
Meanwhile, it has a slow HDD that needs to be replaced with a SDD also, it lacks turbo boost clock speed which means it's get stuck at speed 2.0ghz.
So, i strongly recommend it for office use, it's not so good for entertainment and gaming things.
The price is fair too, cos it's worth more than N127k, all thanks to buhari's stupid forex policies.

If you need a higher gaming experience you will have to go for systems with nvidia/AMD graphics which cost x2 of this (or higher with forex), because processor has a lesser influence on gaming experience than the graphics card so core i5 will only do slightly better.

Besides I currently play PES 2016,prince of persia, max payne 3,sniper fury,modern combat,Asphalt 8 (windows 8.1 version downloaded from windows store) and GTA San Andreas on the system and it all runs smoothly. And the good side is the battery has a way of adjusting to conserve itself while playing games.

Core i3, i5 or i7 differs in features for each year( the latest is 6th generation) . This laptop has 4 cores, 2 physical and 2 virtual (hyper threading feature). The windows 8.1 is upgradable to windows 10.
And it was released in 2015 not 2014.

You see, most Android phones are not capable of multitasking in the real sense. In terms of hardware, Flagship Samsung and LG devices are the only major Android device that has been able to multitask (in form of split-screen): In terms of software, multitasking just came to Android devices recently (Android Nougat).
In most Android phones, when you open an app, it lodges some of its data on the RAM. When you think you're multitasking, you're only flipping through your recently opened apps, what you might call your 'minimize' button is just the overview button which shows you those apps actively logged on to your RAM.
Some applications take little space on the RAM, which is why you leave them and still meet them the way they are when you get back to them. most apps, however, would 'restart' as soon as you leave them.

That said, take it easy on your phone, nothing's wrong with it. If you want true multitasking, try getting a Samsung Galaxy device or an Android Nougat device.

Every android phone with 512mb ram and above can multitask. It all depends on the total size of apps opened in the background. Once it's greater than the ram then some apps will have to be terminated to make room for more ram space.
A better advice would be for the OP to get infinix phones or any android phone with 2GB RAM plus if he wants to get the best of multitasking.
I'm using infinix hot 4 with 2 GB RAM and I multitask frequently on it without lags.
