Programming / Re: Pls How Do I Send Fingerprint Image Directly To Database Without File Upload? by seunoni34(m): 3:52am On Mar 01, 2017 |
Storing blob data in a database is a pretty bad idea. It just doesn't sound cool in terms of performance. Just store the image in a file system then store the link in a the database as text. The fact that this is desktop app though. |

tobbyd341:how sad, if you know you have enough savings to fall back on then you can consider quitting. How about learning a skill that you can make money with? That should be the next thing on your mind for now. Wish you best of luck! |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: 2.2 And Lower Class Graduates.. How Much Of Job Offers Do They Hit? by seunoni34(m): 3:31am On Mar 01, 2017 |
It's skill that matters in naija not grade. Except you're going for general jobs that everybody knows(or needs just a few days training to start work) like banking etc if you're going to work for IT coys, they pay you good money based on skill and experience not certificate atleast for now, and I bet they'll never do. |

Try & get an apartment around Yaba/bariga /owironshoki axis cos they're close to island. And again, if you get a job you'll still need money to transport & feed yourself till you get your first salary. And tbh, if you don't have some little money you can't survive the cost of transport here, also there are jobs on the mainland, search the Internet very well. Mainland has more jobs than island. Just that, the pay on island is more (due to high cost of living) so it's almost the same thing. The choice is yours. I wish you the best in your endeavors, I pray all will be a story at the end. Good luck 3 Likes |

When you're selling things on the Internet always put price. Even if it's not the exact price, just to give the interested person an idea of what to budget. |

hunter4life:I wrote Fc naija.com & 366football.com from ground up. Although Fc naija was a WordPress site, I recoded it, removed all the styling and the only thing retained was the database which I later changed the structure, even the admin was removed for a custom built one by me . 366football is a Livescores site that fetches feeds from an European feed provider all custom built too. I learnt how to code from scratch, including mvc & oop. Unfortunately most naija programmers are lazy, so they use either WordPress or one "quick tool". I know of few people who can code big stuffs from scratch. The rest are just "fast food" programmers. |
