Ok, here is the birth story. My EDD was 24th but within me, I knew I wudnt get to dat date becos I was having cramps like evryday since we entered March. On wed night as usual before I slept, was having cramps but jus managed to sleep off only to be woken up by somtin jus dripping out of my veejay. I woke DH and said bros e be like I don see show o! So we quickly put my hospital bag together and headed off. This was around past 12am. I was having contractions but it wasn't so serz. On getting to d hospital, I was checked and was told dat I had not dilated and check back by 7am. Btw then and 7am, I guess my water broke cos it jus kept gushing out and I changed my pad like 3 times so I was rily disappionted wen I was checked again by 7am and was stil told I had still not dilated but @ least I was draining. Two checks again later was told I had gone only 4cm. Dat was when real labour pain started. Constant contractions wit only 30secs apart. Wen d strong urge to go to toilet came, I told d doctor and wen he checked again he said madam oya bring ur delivery tins in. Pls push wen u feel d pain and wen d pain subsides, relax. Dat was it and after several pushes, d bobo came out o! Imeeadiately I saw him, I completely forgot any pain I ever went tru. May God see all pushing mamas through. Amen. Had my first vigilante yesterday. Na now d real work start.

Well,I've never tried the VIP diaper before but the last time I went shopping I came across it & the persuaded me to try it but I ended up buying pampers sha but since u already have it u can use it & later decide whether to continue or discontinue using it

I can't read back o. Got my hands full. Thanks for everyone that asked of me. March mamas hang in there. My twins are the type that like to cry, eat and poop at the same time... But they don't like to sleep at the same time. So as I'm changing one diaper, the other is pooing. As I dey pet one, d oda go begin cry. I feed the two of them at the same time. I carry them on each hand while they feed. Or I put pillows on my thigh, put one baby on each side and hold there heads towards my breast. I'm trying to see if I can give them without formula for 3months. Other twin mamas... Pls go to Google on how to breastfeed Ur babies at once, it will come in handy. Though some of my methods are not on Google... Cos when my babies shout I just improvise positions without even thinking.

Lemme tell you the cause.
The cause is because you are pregnant!

Now lemme tell the solution for that swollen leg. Abeg, cut salt out of your diet. Then try to raise your feet at any given opportunity. Then finally, go and buy compression socks. Sleep with it at night, wear it all day, it will help reduce the swollen legs and prevent further swelling.
Please monitor your blood pressure and watchout for puffiness in your face and fingers. Also complain to your doctor let him run a routine urine test and rule out ketones in your urine (as per Pre-Eclampsia) but I think you are fine, it is just the pressure of the two precious babies. You are almost there! *Hugs*

yes oooo,my dear exactly wat u said is wat my dr told me 2day.I went for scan and urinerly test and everytin was ok. Jst dat one of my babies head is already on my abdomen thereby usin his head to pressin on my bladder,I kip urinatin every few minutes nomata wher I find mysef,I feel so embrass wit dis ooo. Check Crystal specialist hospital @ Akowonjo Road. Since its a specialist hospital, they should do it. It's quite expensive. Ante natal card is. 20k

@ modath,thanks dear for ur concern. Am 28th weeks wit twins and dis is my 1st pregnancy. Accordin to d last scan I did,d babies ar fine and d 1st did not breech. But DH and our dr ar sayin dat d best way to deliver twins is 2ru CS. Accordin to dr,she said dat I won't pass 2ru pains much,dat within 5-10minutes I will hear d cry of my LO. But am confused cos I know I can still deliver my twins safely witout passin 2ru CS.I hv been prayin to God to make me deliver lik a hebrew women on dat D-day whic I know he will answer me. I dnt know much abt CS,dat's y I asked dos questions abinitio. Sorry 4 d long story

Birth story:started feeling menstrual pain n waist pain after doctor did a second membrane sweep for me at 39weeks +,checked into the hospital the following day n was already at 3cm.But latter on my contractions started getting weak.In order to save my baby and I,we were rushed to the threater and cs was done. Everytin went smoothly. I and baby are doing great.Safe delivery to all pushing mama's

If u gv birth via cs all thru then 3x is adviced, at most 4x to avoid uterine rupture.
Its very possible to have vag deliver after cs(VBAC), as long as d indication for d 1st cs isnt a recurrent one and there re no complications in d 2nd preg to warrant cs. Its also impt to gv @ least 18months interval before taking in d 2nd tym to increase ur chances of vaginal delivery. Hope dis helps

Good morning wonderful mamas. thank you for showing me love. They couldn't save the baby. I had to be induced and delivered him prematurely. But d goodnews is dat,sinc I tuk in till now,no mornin sickness,no complications of whatsoeva.infact my babies arSound and healthy accordin to d scans. After my weddin I tuk in immediately and I dnt hv medical report. But dr told me durin d last visit dat somtimes if u ar deliverin twins,one mit refuse to come out on time after u mit hv givn birt to d 1st one. And d only alternativ den is to go 2ru cs when u ar still in pains.so d best options for twins is to pass 2ru d cs pains once nd for al.but she said dat my last scan will determine d positions of d twins and I can still born normal.

ah ahn... haba na!!. you can havr twins without c.s. the only reason why c.s would be compulsory for you is if one of your twin or the two decides not to turn. i e head down.

are your babies identical or non identical? if they re identical there re usually more risk than non-identical. plus are you a first time mum, read your scan report as well and see what it says... there may be a particular reason for ur dr to say c.s.

and always ask questions from your doctor. when she mentioned to you u would be /might be having c.s you could have asked why she thinks its the safest, then she would have explained if there was any issues.
i fear c.s for all these hospitals. but to sone people its not a big deal

you can definitely have your twin babies without CS and the 200k your doc told u is actually cheap. a friend of mine did hers 250k at subol in ikotun area. around surulere depending on the hospital CS starts from 350k.
