amodu:Forget it AIT or MITV won't re show it. In the first place, they don't own the right to the Soap. The rightful owner is MY TV. I guessed my tv is running out fast on the exposure period stated in the broadcast franchise and they have to hurriedly end the programme just like that. |
Can anyone tell me how to get Opera Mini Browser work with Sony Ericsson W800? |
thebadguy:you are really a bad guy. |
When the Fed Govt way back then banned the importation of Fruit juice, what happened after was that several local investors took up the opportunity to set up the production of the same locally, and the result is what we all can afford now for just N200. Then imported "5 Alive" was going for N450. Trust Nigerian biz men, they are only watching, once the coast is clear , you'll witness the rush to set up DTH companies and the subscription will be very cheap. Then DSTV can go to Hell if they so wish, enough of second slavery. |
Lagos State Government yesterday announced the ban of Okada Motorbike operation in Lagos State from 7pm to 6am. This according to The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Dele Alake is to curtail the wave of crime in Lagos. What do you think? is this the right move?. Lagosians let's hear your comments. |
Nice time to you all. I'm in Nigeria. But you will do us a world of good by posting the pix at the get together for Nigerian Nairalanders to see. |
It must have been his brother that stole it and dashed it out to her. girls do have the guts to steal things like fones. |
I am in support of The Fed Govt's decision. Those South Africans are killing our industry. DSTV in particular monopolises all the good channels including Free to Air CNN on the guise of buying franchise asthe sole broadcaster and as such indiginous DTH (Direct to home) companies are dieing. Look at FSTV, TITV, they are no where to be found. The surviving ones are strugling to stand. Its unfair of DSTV to monopolise this sector. We all know generating new programmes or let me say World class indigineous programme is a lot of money. So what they use as support are these foreign programmes. |
Yes but that will depend on his tone of conversation. If he's a rash fellow you'll know in his tone of voice. |
micklplus:it should've been "at least ONE GOOD THING came from Nigeria". |
. If its my fone. I wont show up. I'll rather employ an area boy who understand their language. That is if the fone is very expensive. If not, i'll bid the fone byebye. like u said you never know what to expect. or rather i'll invite him to Mr Biggs or something and there we can talk. |
You mean people can actually steal your fone and still call you to negotiate. That's rather strange. Here in Lagos, once stolen, just forget it. |
Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit are the same. in the Old Testament it is referred to as Holyghost. It's just a simple case of semantics. |
This was a friend's experience. He got hugged by someone and in the next minute the fone and money was gone. The guy showed up from nowhere hugged my friend and apologised later that he thought my friend was someone he knows. Its like he cast a spell on my friend for some period of time. He realised minutes later that he's been robbed. |
. oh boy! |
You 're smart. |
Ladies generally dont lost their fones. Why?, because its always in a pouch placed in a purse inside another purse in anther bag. |
I have gotten my phones stolen twice and lost on one occasion. This is my experience. The First phone i used in my life is Motorola Timeport. I lost it at a police checking point. I placed it on my lap carelessly and when we were ordered out for stop and search in the night, it dropped. I made effort to call my fone later but it has bn switched off. The second fone dropped into the water at the beach and stopped working even after drying it. I kept it in the pocket of my jacket at home and it developed wings and dissappeared. But the way my last fone got stolen is a lesson which i think all of us should share, so that we can watch it in future. In Lagos now, distraction is the tool for stealing Mobile phones. It was a peaceful evening as I was driving home from the office after a long days work. I almost got home when i received a call and i thought since I'm almost at my destination I should just ignore it. I left my two phones on the seat besides me in the hold up. The light on my phone attracted these phone robbers, and they used the distraction method for me. One Okada rider just crossed my vehicle and hit my vehicle's body on the drivers side with his hand and said "Oga, your fuel is leaking". I got distracted for a minute and the next minute the two fones on my side was gone. How it happened I don't know. It was so fast that I had to laugh at myself. I thought I was smart until these happened. I felt so stupid. "WON LO T'EKO FUNMI". Share your experience too, so that others can learn from your mistake or carelessness. |
aleroaruya:Sorry my Sista about that. I thought you are a Man. No offense intended. |
Love44:What has north got to do with this now?. Lets forget about North or South, East or West. Nigeria is far more bigger than any region. What I'm mostly concerned about is the future of this country, especially as it relates to the machinery OBJ has in place. Things like EFCC etc. Have you not discover that these organisations are being used against political opponents. Check this out. Mike Adenuga was arrested based on his connection with Atiku. When cases and petition like that which condemn OBJ's university and the Soleye that is fronting for him is not aired at all by EFCC. Have you forgotten so soon the Presidential Library. How possible is having a presidential library launch when you are still in power. That's why every big names in Nigeria were there falling over each other just to donate millions simply because Baba must be pleased and they must be seen. Most head of state have presidential library when they left power. I'm sure that one day this same ICPC, EFCC will eventually do OBJ in, long after he's no more in power. |
Yeah, I agree with u. |
Forget it. Its just an excuse. OBJ need money to prosecute 2007 election. She's seen as a stumbling block. How come her resignation was accepted in a hurry like this. Ahba. |
Okonjo-Iweala Resigns I just watched a newsflash on CHANNELS TV now and I heard that Nigeria's former Finance minister and recently redeployed to Foreign Affairs has resigned her appointment. I learnt yesterday also that she was relieved of her headship of the Economic Think tank of Obasanjo's government. What do you think its going on? Some said she was redeployed because the PDP govt. need a lot of money towards prosecuting 2007 election and she's seen as blockage, hence her redeployment. What do you think? Was her resignation in order? I think was she did was the right thing to do, just to keep her name. She left when the ovation is loud. |
drogba:I was at The Palms' Glo World on Sunday, I spent almost 45 minutes. they tried everything possible but it couldn't work. Next thing is that they will send my no for provisioning that will be available Tuesday, but till now nothing came. Its so disgusting, the kind of people Glo employed to handle technical things like manual configuring. The guy almost get my phone spoilt. |
aleroaruya:You are very right o. I just tried MTN and it worked perfectly. You know something, Glo almost made me return the fone . I thought its defective. Thanks Man. |
I recently bought mine. it cost only 45k in Nigeria |
I use Sony Ericcson w 800i. Its a nice fone but Glo mobile is not allwing me to take the full advantage of it. Can't surf with it on their network.
