naijapips04:Not to beat a dead dog here, but the INEC server from the picture you shared has a failed Microsoft Excel Activation. I think INEC servers would at the very least run full licensed versions of the software. Now, let me run before they come for me |
Yes kwankaso will win if presented as the PDP candidate in 2023, but the unintended consequence of that move will be that all parties will keep presenting Northern candidates so they can win the elections. SW, SE, and SS will never be president if we don't stick to the North - South zoning arrangement. |
martyns303:True. There was a time I had this project with very tight deadlines, i slept an average of 3 hours per day for weeks and i was doing the island - mainland trip everyday. I dozed off a couple of times on the wheels |
kufre2010:Stop spreading false information. See the correct information from Punch newspaper: The returning officer for the Kano State governorship election, Prof. B.B Shehu while giving a breakdown of the figures said, “The total number of registered voters is 5,426, 989, accredited voters, 2,211,528, out of this number, the ruling APC scored 987,819, while the main opposition PDP scored 1,014,474. https://punchng.com/inec-declares-kano-governorship-election-inconclusive/ |
The Memo only concern is OML11, that is, Shell oil wells in Ogoniland. I think the move is to ensure the wells are put back into production. OP did you read the memo before creating the topic? |
Shadymurphy:Really? You really believe that Audu Ogbe outperformed Adesina and Adeosun is better than Obasanjo's NOI? Kachukwu, Adewole and Amaechi are the only performers on that list. Tell me, what is Fasola's contribution to power and housing, I know he did well in Works and while you are at it, tell me one thing Shittu got right. |
islandmoon:If they had presented a united front, the governorship would have been theirs to lose. |
I guess most of those commenting here have not watched the video. She was only trying to crack a joke with the man and it didn't come out right. I think the only thing she's guilty of in this instance is not being a good comedian |
MisterGrace:I concur, he may fare better in WWE |
mayowa94:Taraba |
lilfreezy:The constitution only requires the winner to have 25% in at least 24 states. The Northern and SW states are 25 in number and I don't think APC will have any trouble getting 25% or more in those places |
BadLuckonmyGame:Are you sure of this? I think at best they can only win Delta central |
Fraudophobia:Looks like Baba Oloye might be going home. He has lost the 2 LG announced by INEC. 2 LG to go |
Bungalow:Just realised it. Apologies for that. I guess that negates my analysis. |
Buharifanatic:Did you read what I wrote? I clearly predicted a margin of 1.9 million, excluding the 800k from Akwa Ibom, for PDP. The screen shot I used was the one shared on the site and some of the results scrolling on channels tv screen corroborated the screen shot |
From the channels TV screen shot of 12 states and FCT, APC has 7,250,414 while PDP has 4,292,004. The current difference is 2,958,410. I expect the voting pattern observed in the SW, SE, and SS to be maintained, hence APC would gain a maximum of 300k from SW while PDP should expect 1 million from SE and 1.9 million lead from SS. Thus APC lead should have shrunk to 200k by the time we are through with southern votes. From the ward level results in the remaining northern states, I can project a very slim victory for APC. the margin will be less than 1 million votes. |
Tetehjewels:Isn't it a little too early to be getting ward results? Can you back the result up with pictures of the result sheet? |
I am standing in the voting line here. My polling booth is around Ogba. There is no PDP agent here, but we have 2 APC agents. Not sure PDP is ready for this |
desiredhome:Well I bought my prepaid meter from IKDC for 100k last year. The thing is yet to work sef. The point is, the corrupt practices of the discos are still happening |
Rb53:What is Atiku's plan for tackling poverty? The only candidate with a clear plan is Kingsley Moghalu, but it is unfortunate that he does not have the political structure to win the election. I do hope whoever wins will take his ideas onboard |
Win or lose, I will take two bottles of star with peppersoup on the night the result is announced |
phase1:Fthere are no candidates in Rivers and Zamfara, Imo state is a different case as there is a new party, for disgruntled APC members, conducting the attacks. So, it is very different, plus in this case, if the senatorial candidate is killed before elections, who benefits? Is it the party that will have no candidate or the one that will have a clear path to victory. It is common sense really. Another thing I should bring up is that I am not an APC member. I plan to vote Atiku for president and APC in the other positions. |
Has any other person noticed that all the mix up occurred in areas where the APC is strong; Kebbi, Kaduna, and now Kwara. I think there is more to this and before anyone responds, Please think about which party stands to benefit from the mix up |
phase1:I wonder how you could logically conclude that APC will attempt to assassinate their senatorial candidate. Party affiliation should not prevent logical thinking |
Looking at the areas of strength of both candidates as stated by Mr Atiku, I honestly believe that PDP has more motivation to use the said device. Okay hounds, let me explain before you come for me. The first paragraph was just TLDR version. The three zones where APC is strong have the highest voter registration numbers and number of PVC collected, if we are to assume the card readers have a 60%percent efficiency across board, it will result in an average of 60%of PVC holders getting accredited to vote, which will favour zones with greater population. The only way PDP can neutralise the greater population in APC strongholds will be to ensure that card readers there are less efficient, leading to reduced votes from such zones. This is pretty apparent if you scrutinise the position of PDP. I also believe that this is the reason Atiku cannot show pictures of the device. So people, if you see anyone - whether PDP or APC - with a strange device on election day, Please report to the law enforcement agents attached to such polling units |
36STATES:Not quite right buddy, the chief of defence staff, a Yoruba man is there. |
7lives:Plus, most would be ballot box snatchers are well armed and our security forces must be prepared to engage them if that is the only way to neutralise their threat. That is not to say that I support extrajudicial killings, but if that is the only way to neutralise their threat , then so be it |
iamdynamite:They should have conducted detailed risk assessment on the storage facilities and implement mitigation measures that will reduce the impact of such risks. They could have provided enough fire extinguishers and a CO2 release system to mitigate impact of fire. Bottom line is, INEC did not plan well for this election, and they need to apologise to Nigerians. |
I completely agree with the party chairperson of YPP, INEC should apologise for the inconvenience and the embarrassment caused to Nigerians. Also, I agree with Adams, why couldn't INEC postpone it on Wednesday or Thursday. Why didn't they learn from the logistic failure that led to the postponement of the 2011 elections. Abeg I don tire |
It may be true in Mushin, but there are no such issues in Ikeja. My wife collected hers before me and she is from the south South. Also, a lot of my Igbo friends around Ikeja got their PVCs with no issues |
