So, what's the reason for this. Is it because Yorubas are accommodating and others are not or because Igbos are more adventurous than others.

Thou sayest. Was only buttressing the fact the guy you quoted stated.

About the bolded, why don't you go find out yourself. You can't sit in Ogbomoso and be assuming things.

You rarely see yorubas in those places that dude listed the way it is for the Igbos. Haven been to many places in Nigeria, Yoruba people stay mostly in their SW zone. Those outside there are either in Port-hacourt as oil company worker, Abuja due to it being the FCT or outside Nigeria(mainly: US,UK Benin republic and Cote d voir).
I'm not saying you won't find Yorubas in other Nigeria states but are they are 'very' few while they are many in those places I've listed.
Like I said I've been to places in Nigeria. Don't be surprised that you will find Igbos in thick Yoruba villages than you can ever imagine, they are living with comfort without any disturbance or stress from their host.

Politics / Re: Obasanjo Shuns PDP Peace Meeting Again by sEyi6: 8:03pm On Mar 16, 2013
SamAfrik: If only electorates in other regions can as smart as those in SW. The region has gone beyond sentiments, if u dont perform u wil be thrown out, ur party regardless.
No wonder ACN govs are sitting tight. Mimiko is also focusing on d pple.

I am really happy for the SouthWest and Edo people my man, days of propaganda are over, people are now elected based on credibility, integrity and past records.

Checkout that transformation Oyo is witnessing, Edo, Ogun, Ondo. Even Ekiti and Osun that are of lower IGR are not doing bad at all from my personal assessment. Lagos is not comparable to any state in the federation in all ramifications. I'm not praising A.CN or the Labor party but the way the SW and Edo have out grown other zones politically. Gone are the days when governors are elected based on sentiments and other irritating factors Nigerians put into consideration before voting anyone into power.

It is now clear to politicians in the zone that your performance is your passport for being elected. If your performance is poor, you will be voted out, simple as that.
I believe one thing, if PDP is elected in any SW states or EDO in the next election, their performance will be amazing, because they know the people they've been deceiving earlier on are now politically matured.
This is the urge that is pushing Mimiko and A.CN governors to work extensively. Same reason why Mimiko was re-elected, Ondo people saw what Mimiko has done/is doing, hence they have no reason to vote in A.CN. Usually, Ondo people should have voted A.CN that it's a regional party, but their civilization and enlightment made them re-elect the man they've tested and trusted.

I also give credit to Imo and Anambra people, they have tested parties and will always vote out a non performing politician.

I wish other states can also put that fear into their governors and elected office holders of knowing that they can be voted out at anytime.

Bad belle! I understand how dis thing dey pepper you for body. Believe me, I dont want to be in your shoes right now.

The Fashola light rail rail project that has hit front page on several occasion, has it been commissioned?

I was referring to FG's propaganda and you're bringing up or rather comparing it with that of a state government. Are you not ashamed of yourself?

Fashola's achievement is your yardstick for assessing the FG's achievement. grin

Fashola must be a big time achiever. I'm starting to like that Fashola sef

When it's completed they should inform Nigerians. Making a proposal that might not be fulfilled looks like their normal way of ranting.

Thought APGA has been merged with APC, which makes Anambra an APC state. "what's APC will win Anambra 2014"? Except obi is not part of the merger...

Then we have two APGA.... Interesting

CyberG: LOL...first they "demand" the presidency, no one answers them! Then, they mouthed off Rochas, 2 years governor, unproven and yet to accomplish anything significant, their silliness was exposed, now Ngige who was booted out of governor's house after signing an oath with the Uba criminals; and you think Nigeria still needs a person with criminal values as president? You people are just too funny, in a horrible and pitiful way!

You should have known, they are unstable as water.

Politics / Re: APC: Ngige For President by sEyi6: 7:25am On Feb 18, 2013
0lumide: Ngige is not even interested in going. Onlytruth saying only bigotry will not allow people to vote for Ngige.

Isn't bigotry the reason you are picking Ngige even though he doesn't belong in your PDP party? Isn't bigotry the reason you want a Christian president?

Isn't bigotry the reason you don't want a Northerner?

Isn't bigotry the reason your advocated options for presidency on this site has been South-easterners?

Isn't it bigotry? Isn't it bigotry? Isn't it bigotry?

You out of bigotry accuse others of bigotry and you expect the nation to favour all?

I will be honest with you, no candidate in the east is "sellable" yet. And that strictly strategical and if you take bigotry out of your senses you will understand that Ribadu has better chances than any candidate from east, so does Fashola. Name one performer from east since 1999 that is still active in politics and can win election. Don't mention Okonjo Iweala or Soludo because they are stained by their own actions. Tinubu had ambitions of going for presidency but I think he knows that he can't win and he isn't sellable. Same goes for Ngige that is why they are in the fore front of things in their party. Take bigotry off your mind and you'll see SE doesn't have a consensus candidate candidate that deliver even SE.

Being a performer is not a criteria at all but I will have to give hats to Ribadu for contesting the 2011 elections even though he knew he can't win. He has more chances of winning the 2015 election than even Fashola. That was a strategic stance he took and to be honest, that strategy is making Ribadu the favourite of the party even more than Fashola. If it's not Buhari/Fashola, it has to be Ribadu/Fashola. Name a candidate with better chances in the party from the east.

So much on point.
Accusing people of bigotry bacause their view opposes your opinions that are generated from bigotry.

Tell the world when you're ready to commission it. The word "to" has been used repeatedly(since 1914) with nothing to show for it most times.
