Simply answer, yes or no. What's with the nasty response? If I had all the knowledge needed, I won't come here asking questions. #ITK#. NA WA OOOO

Not so nice à way to reply really. While I'm not sure if nysc passes as an experience for them at sinp, we all agree it is. Nurses and Doctors going to UK use their internship (pre nysc) job as experience, so do you expect them to delete nysc year because 'Canada doesn't know what nysc is'?

It's probably nothing to you...The staff there are extremely kind and patient. They take their time to open up and go through your documents, let you know if there are certain corrections to be made and help rearrange if the need be.
For instance, I applied for lecturer 2 but going through my documents, the guy made me understand I am more suited for lecturer 1. I had to retype the whole thing. Same with most people there. I mean, a guy came in from kaduna to submit his application...kaduna to warri is far enough and we spent at least 1hr on water. Some people just know what they want. I too once travelled from the south South to A.B.U zaria to submit an application. While it's no job guarantee, I felt at peace knowing where my documents went and enjoyed the experience.

There are things I'd rather not talk about but if you are close enough...go there, pick out your document from the parcel section(yes, it got delivered)and submit it YOURSELF. You'll understand better then.

Again, it's probably nothing.

Overall, I think the recruitment process will be very fair. The community is a beautiful one too.

Ok thanks. You made it look something before. All the best.

Don't worry urself on whatever they say here. If u sent urs tru courier service, and tracked it till it was received by the receiver, then u are safe. Going there urself doesn't guarantee u the job. If its urs, means of submission won't matter.
Cheers

Normally, there isn't supposed to exist a reason for worry but you know how we do things in this part of the world. The DHL guy that delivered it even gave the name of the person that received it.

I went there, submitted today and finally understood why that guy kept insisting it's better to go there yourself. Thank God I didn't use delivery services.

What explanation can you give sir? Let's know our fate, those of us that used courier services already. If we might need to resend

I sent mine through courier service. It took a week to be delivered from Kaduna to the school, it was received by Mr. Ebikeme Charles... I stand to be corrected, cos I don't know his title

OK. Thanks. I sent you a pm.

Last date should be 19/20th I guess... Yes u can, sent mine through courier

How sure can we be that the postal agencies will deliver the package?

I know how things work in such a place. A nasu staff is expected to collect the document, sign for it and receive. NMU may not have nasu yet though, maybe some contract or temporary staff. But a courier delivery is kind of risky.

Speculations all over.
I however think it's worth noting that the edit button was enabled for a reason.

For instance, upon clicking the edit button I found out that I am now expected to upload 5 documents as against whichever number I uploaded during application and now they ask that I should upload a resume of course now in a specific order.

Degree
NYSC
SSCE
PROFESSIONAL
RESUME

Meaning that I had to replace two other documents (other degree and computer proficiency cert with professional and resume respectively).

Maybe I am wrong. Maybe I wrongly uploaded during application. But I wonder why I would have missed out the resume part to have uploaded just anything in its place.

I thus want to believe the edit button is very legit and deliberate.

In anyway, speculations are meant to be flying all over.

Oh. And I also have my application PORTAL closed.

Please, was your attached template in excell and did you have to convert it to pdf or jpeg before sending or you sent it the same way?. Thank you.

Yes the template was in excel and you don't have to convert that. Only your supporting documents should be in Jpeg or pdf formats.

lol i actually solved it this way, nw i understand how i came about mine...its something about progression( arithmetic or geometric undecided)

n! /(n-2)!=66*2!

n(n-1)(n-2)!/(n-2)!=66*2!

n(n-1)=132

n^2-n=132

n^2-12n+11n-132

n=12 or - 11

Please guys read this post from this site below and know what to expect, according the to writer their aptitude test may be more than GMAT we are thinking of,
it may be based on ur field of study it will better to study GRE, if you guys check the Note on ur dashboard, it was stated Calculator is allowed, that tell us, is more than mere basic mathematics,

DPR just rolled out their recruitment for this year and most of us have probably applied. What we do not know is that; it is important that accurate information is stored on your profile before applying. Dates, certificates, secondary school and primary school leaving certificates must all match. If you have not applied, then be careful. If you are able to edit then do so. That is, verify again before submitting. This is important to avoid not being selected.

I hope we are not thinking erroneously that there would be human interaction in the recruitment selection considering the millions of applicants who have applied. It's the reason why we are saying be careful. If you think so then read this; How HR Administrators filter large bank of Resumes.

However, the below is what you should know;

1) To encourage us, they usually take around 250 successful applicants. Try and get your application right. The toughest part is being called.
2) Their recruitment in one of the longest in Nigeria. Very long and I mean that. Maybe this would be better but the last one I think took over a year.
3)To encourage us again, they pay more than the ever amazing NNPC.
4) Eraproserve, a consulting firm conducted their last exams so if you are privy to the type of exams they set then good luck. We are not sure if they would be the same consultant for this recruitment but be aware that the eventual engaged consultant will determine the nature of exam.
5) The last aptitude test were based on Geography and physics. It was too technical!. Integration. Differentiation etc. It is the most difficult exam you would probably write.

6) The test is basically more academic than aptitude.
7) Try and go with lunch and dinner.

Exam question example;
"If everybody at a party shook hand with each other, and there was a total of 66 handshakes. How many people attended the party?".

The stages are;
a) A very tough aptitude test.
b) Oral interview.
c) Verification of successful candidates by the FCC (Federal Character Commission).
d) Release of appointment letters to successful candidates.

Good luck!. and kindly share.

http://www.hrtechnique.com/2016/12/dpr-recruitment-2016-stages.html

12 people attended the party
