A lady identified as Latoshia Daniels, has reportedly killed a pastor after his wife let her inside their home.

Latoshia Daniels has been charged with first-degree murder, attempt first-degree murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, assault of a police officer and resisting arrest.

Two self- acclaimed pastors of God of Possibilities Church have been arrested for allegedly killing their brother-in-law, Peter Chukwuyem.

43-year-old Chukwuka Stephen and his brother Ejim Stephen, 39, committed the alleged offence on February 5 but were arrested February 24.

A Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Felix Anih has urged Catholics to participate actively in politics and ensure they become good ambassadors of Christ in any position they find themselves.

Anih, the Parish Priest of St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Church Apo, Abuja, made the declaration in a paper titled “ Laity and Catholic Social Teaching” presented on the occasion of Laity week in the Parish.

The Catholic Archdiocese of Kaduna has said that the kidnappers of the Parish Priest of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Ankwa Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Rev. Fr. John Shekwolo, have yet to make contact with the church for ransom, 24 hours after the incident.

The Chancellor of the Kaduna Catholic Archdiocese, Rev. Fr. Daniel Kyom , told Northern City News on the telephone on Tuesday that the abductors had not made contact with the church .

The police in Niger State have arrested a 24 -year -old man , Isyaku Rabiu, for allegedly raping a seven -year -old girl .

The incident was said to have taken place in Auna in the Magama Local Government Area of the state.

A lawyer, Mrs. Uloma Ulo, on Tuesday told an Ikeja Special Offences Court, that a prophetess, Linda Mhabi-Praise, allegedly defrauded her of N134 million and left her with problem of debt.

Ulo, being led in evidence by Mr. Frank Ofoma, the counsel for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in the trial of Mhabi-Praise for fraud, said she met the prophetess through one Sandra Mbujakero, a friend of hers.

She noted that Mbujakero said that the defendant was her pastor and that she had done some business deals with the defendant and her company, Mutano Energy.

An Ado-Ekiti Customary Court has dissolved a nine-year-old marriage between Ayodele Olaoye and his wife, Oluwatoyin, over religious difference.

Olaoye, 48, who lives live in Odo-Ado, Ekiti, approached the court on Tuesday, seeking dissolution of the marriage.
